Situation Report: Hostilities in Th’Asidra hallway

After a lecture held by Apprentice Leive in the Archives, a confrontation between Apprentice Flavian and Acolyte Almir Priaa took place in the hallways that lead to drawing of weapons, vibroblade and Lightsaber, between the two.
Witnesses present: Sith Soti, Apprentice Orgkez, A Chiss Acolyte, the two involved, and myself.

I, Corporal Srano, upon arrival drew my blaster pistol activated on stun. Ordering the two to stand down, reminding them of breaking regulations to have weapons drawn outside of combat training areas. By order of Captain Maccarthy, if something such as this occurs, those involved will be taken to brig without exceptions, stunning will be used if resist arrest.
After being ordered to stand down and told to accompany to the brig for the breaking of regulation, the Acolyte stood down and surrendered his weapon. Apprentice Flavian, still with weapon drawn argued that he shouldn’t need to follow, even though having broken the regulation, resulted in stunned on sight.
In the Brig, the following people have given their view of what occurred:
Sith Soti,
Apprentice Flavian,
Acolyte Almir Priaa
Sith Soti: Seeing Apprentice Flavian placing hand upon the Acolytes shoulder while saying something led to Acolyte drawing his vibroblade. Sith Soti also ordered the two to stand down.
Apprentice Flavian: Did place a hand on shoulder, talking about Acolyte Priaa’s family, however had no knowledge about the Alien he was talking about was Acolyte Priaa’s niece. The Apprentice claims he drew his lightsaber in self-defense.
Acolyte Almir Priaa: Physical touch made by the Apprentice Flavian upon shoulder while speaking ill about the Acolyte’s Alien family, specifically his niece, made him draw his vibroblade, unignited.
The following regulations have been broken:
Apprentice Flavian:
1. Drawing of blade in none-combat training area
2. Resisting arrest.
Acolyte Almir Priaa:
1. Drawing of blade in none-combat training area,
2. Initiating hostilities by the use of weapon against superior.
Ending results:
Both the Apprentice and Acolyte are currently being held in the brig until further notice, awaiting judgement for breaking of regulations.
Personal Note:
Insults are not a breaking of regulation, yet weapons were drawn.

The Apprentice: having gone through the struggles of the Acolytes, should have been aware of regulations. Knowing this, he still ignited his lightsaber in a none-combat training area. Believing he was not to blame for any breaking of regulation, he argued against arrest, and suffered the consequences.

The Acolyte: an Alien with the rank of 'Acolyte' carrying a vibroblade granted to him by Apprentice Leive, has used it to break regulation and initiated hostilities against superior in a none-combat training area.
However, upon order to stand down, the Acolyte surrendered his vibroblade and complied.

Signed,

Corporal N. Srano, Horuset First Imperial Platoon, Attachment Squad.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
