Acolyte Training Swords
Acolyte Blades are metal rods that apply an electrical discharge on contact with the target. Due to the presence of a small amount of cortosis weave in the blades, these can also take hits from lightsabers and has a limited resistance to blasterbolts, though they will not return them to the source. Instead the energy would dissipate in a thump of radial energy which would disable a section of the blade. The previous generation of acolyte blades were known to be highly explosive to lightning, blasterbolts, breezes, coughs and mild heresy. These new generation ones will not absorb lightning, but instead if they are struck with it, the energy would pass from the blade directly into the acolyte's hands, as if they had been struck directly. For the sake of convenience, they do look suspiciously similar to the old ones but they can be identified from model numbers on the handles.
In terms of discharge, these have three settings:
Off is a metal stick, good for hitting. Note that these are still metal sticks. Get someone round the back of the head with it and you can knock them out or kill them.
Low would mean that on contact the weapon would emit enough electricity to stun a limb, mimicking the removal of a limb with a lightsaber for several minutes and causing pain, with a strike to the head rendering the target unconscious.
High would cause more severe burns that, if landed on a head or torso, might kill the victim.

Spoiler: I will not use dumb signatures.
