Despite her sharp, prominent and defined Sith features, Ariyana Horuset has an appearance that is typically associated with femininity among members of her pure-blooded species. Her bright red eyes are framed by prominent eye ridges and high cheekbones between a slender but sharp nose. Sharp bony spurs extend from a pronounced but slender jawline, which flows into a small, pointy chin, accentuated by naturally gaunt cheeks. Ariyana has long dark red hair, which she usually keeps styled into a neat bun on the top of her head, from which a single, thick braid flows. Her complexion is of the same dark red colour that is so common among the members of the Horuset bloodline.
As befitting of someone of her descent, she carries herself with a graceful and regal demeanour, albeit remembering her position as a Sith Acolyte and falling to the appropriate level of deference when appropriate. Her straight back seems almost bolted into place, with 'slouching' seemingly an alien concept to Ariyana. Her walk is often gentle and silent, as if she was constantly walking on her toes to produce as little sound as possible.
While favouring stylish and regal attire throughout her childhood, she is currently limited to the robes typically worn by Sith Acolytes of the Horuset powerbase. Despite this, she takes meticulous care of her attire and appearance.

[td] ⦾ Sith Tarimra
Ariyana was re-introduced into the Horuset fold by Sith Tarimra, who she had interacted with a number of times in their mutual childhood on Korriban. She saw Tarimra - back then still known as Valeus Horuset - as that older cousin with his nose always in a scroll or book. Upon meeting him once again, that image of Valeus was forever shattered, and replaced by the the Sith known as Tarimra, her Ari Dota. While not able to discern his true intentions, Ariyana believes Tarimra has taken an interest in her development and progress, and aims to meet his expectations of her.
⦾ Apprentice Temekel
While Ariyana has met with Apprentice Temekel only a few times, she is seemingly intrigued by the Vipion scion. She aims to secure the Apprentice's approval of her, and establish better relations with her as a result.
[*]
- ⦾ The Horuset Powerbase
While Ariyana was born into the Horuset bloodline as the daughter of Evrus Horuset, she was re-introduced to the powerbase after she had passed her Sith Trials on Dromund Kaas, yet had failed to secure a Sith Master. She is devoted to the powerbase, and aims to meet its high expectations of her as a member of the Horuset bloodline.
- ⦾ The Sphere of Production and Logistics
Acolyte Ariyana plays a very minor role in the Sphere of Production and Logistics, through direct association with the Horuset powerbase.

“Even those that stand above the rest can, at times, point their blades in the same direction, especially when there is a common enemy.”
- Acolyte Ariyana
Ariyana is keenly aware of her status as a pureblooded Sith within the Empire, and carries herself with a demeanour that is considered typical of those of her species. Her xenophobic beliefs are often delivered in the manner of joking remarks about an alien's appearance, laced with a judgemental stare and raised chin. Yet while she would never consider any non-human as her equal, not truly, she does recognise their use as a tool or crutch in the pursuit of her goals, or those of the Empire.
The Horuset scion is not a strong fighter, and she is very much aware of this fact. As such, she has a tendency to gain the favour of those stronger than her, so that she might use them to further her aims or use them for protection or safety. It is why she adopts a generally pleasant demeanour with others, trying to persuade them to see her as a potential ally, rather than a foe. In this sense, she is a manipulative individual that judges people based on their merit to her, and her plans.
As her strengths don't lie in physical prowess or combat, her interests don't either. Ariyana is an individual that is keen to pursue intellectual endeavours and the study of the Dark Side of the Force. In tandem with her utilitarian mindset, she developed a set of views and beliefs that there is strength in numbers and a cautious sense of unity, especially when those who are strong unite against a common foe. This does not mean that Ariyana is a team player or staunchly believes in such, yet rather that it can be used - just like people - as a tool to further one's aims, or the aspirations of the Empire as a whole.

[td]- ⦾ As a Sith Acolyte, Ariyana has learned the basics of Shii-Cho and uses this form as her primary style of combat by default. Yet as she is not a duellist by nature, she aims to supplement her fighting style with use of the Force, and verbal taunts or persuasion.
- ⦾ Ariyana's use of the Force, especially the Dark Side, is limited to the powers and abilities commonly used and practiced by Sith Acolytes of the Horuset powerbase. She is on her way to effectively master the basics of Telekinesis and Force Shock, while keenly practicing her theoretical knowledge of Force Sense and Barrier. Similarly, she is eager to expand her knowledge and mastery of the Force, and aims to learn and study the arcane arts of the Dark Side one day.

⦾ Horuset-issued datapad
Granted to her when Ariyana joined the Horuset Powerbase, the datapad serves as her primary tool to make notes and further her studies. It is of standard Imperial make and is registered to the Horuset intranet. She carries it in the pockets of her robes.
⦾ Horuset-issued holocom
Granted to her when Ariyana joined the Horuset Powerbase, the holocom serves as her primary tool of contact. It is of standard Imperial make and is registered to the Horuset internal holonet. She carries it in the pockets of her robes.
⦾ Sith Acolyte robes
Ariyana dons the attire customarily worn by the Sith Acolytes of the Horuset powerbase. It is fashioned in the standard way that Acolyte robes are woven, and made in a size appropriate for her height and posture.
⦾ Standard training foil
Her primary - and only weapon - is a standard training foil that is given to Sith Acolytes of the Horuset powerbase upon their arrival. She always carries it on the left side of her back, in line with her dominant left hand.

[td] [spoiler=Prologue: Origins]
Prologue: Origins
Ariyana Horuset was born in the city of Dreshdae on the ancient Sith homeworld of Korriban, during the final years of the Cold War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. Along with her older sister Missana, Ariyana was raised at a Horuset holding in Dreshdae in which her parents Evrus Horuset and his partner Alia Dujikra resided. The former was a military strategist proficient in the use of Sith Sorcery and involved in overseeing the Imperial forces stationed on the sacred Sith homeworld, while the latter had secured a position as an Assistant Overseer at the Korriban Sith Academy, initiating Acolytes into the mysteries of the Dark Side of the Force and Sith history. Alia Dujikra was fond of her daughters, seeking to build a meaningful relationship with them, but was held back in this by Evrus Horuset, who refused the idea that his children would be coddled. Throughout their rigorous and traditionalist upbringing, both Missana and Ariyana had to continuously fight for the tiniest scrap of their father’s approval, developing a cold and rivalrous relationship between them as a result, much to their mother’s silent disapproval. To Missana’s frustration and dismay, it was Ariyana’s latent Force Sensitivity that had manifested itself first, and thus the young Pureblood was sent to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas as family tradition mandated, to begin her training as a Sith Acolyte at the age of seventeen.
As Ariyana had been less focused on physical strength and combat prowess than her sister Missana, she instead had become a sly and cunning individual, choosing to not stand at the forefront of affairs, but rather attempt to steer and manipulate the ones who did. This tactic defined her time as an Acolyte at the Dromund Kaas Sith Academy, where she had been stripped of all of her belongings but her robes and training blade. With the pressure of family reputation and expectation weighing heavily upon her shoulders, Ariyana chose to play to her strengths and often attempted to slither herself into the favour of the strongest Acolytes within her group, subsequently trying to steer their actions and plans to her advantage. Over the course of little more than a year, Ariyana guided the weapons of her allied peers to eliminate rivals, and to help her survive the hardships hurled at her. Although she was able to successfully survive all of her Trials, by constantly standing behind others she had failed to attract the attention of a prospective Sith Master, and was not selected by any of the Sith Lords that searched for a Sith Apprentice. However, recognising that she had proved her potential as a Sith by surviving the Trials, the Overseers of the Dromund Kaas Academy sent her back to House Horuset, to continue her training in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force there, and once again face the Trials or die trying.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
