FROM: Vayek Vipion

SUBJECT: After Action Report: Mosila apartment investigation

INTRODUCTION:

Investigation into an apartment building in Mosila with a credible lead to be the rendezvous point of local insurgents and terrorists planning acts against our war effort.

Summary:

Mission Status: Success

Deployed Location:
Anx Minor, Mosila apartment building

Deployed Personnel:
Sith Zynn (Commanding)
Apprentice Vayek Vipion
Apprentice Emlar Racta

Duration of Deployment:
[01/04/2023]

Details of Operation:

Following up on the interrogations of the insurgency members our primary lead was their intended rendezvous location, the apartment of Adok. As we arrived we met the local landlord of the building. With a brief interrogation we uncovered the residential lists and called for a military police fireteam to keep him under guard. The listings described apartment 8-5 to be inhabited by Adok so we took the stairs up. The floor had a total of five apartments. Our primary finds were in apartments 8-2 and 8-3 which we started with. 8-2 was inhabited by a chef making a meal and two compartiots. They very likey were squatters as opposed to the original residents. They had a sports poster on the wall which veiled a hole leading to the next apartment which was housed by a pair of twi'lek women.

Sith Zynn and I investigated them while Racta guarded the others. The pair were hiding a trap door under their carpet which had a terminal, flimsiplast notes for a target designated TK-456, logistical supply. It's noteworthy that this is an imperial shuttle designation. In addition they seemed to have a crudely made scramble key. At this point violence erupted by local apartment residents engaging the military police. I doubled back down and cut the elevator wires and making it to help the military police in anticipation of Sith Zynn's called in reinforcements.

The original fireteam were all KIA as they were ambushed, possibly this ambush was aided by the landlord. Many of the residents threw blunt objects out of their apartments at our forces. I helped to take out all we could reach. While our reinforcements got the situation back under control we believe three to four insurgents may have escaped, including a teenage boy. Emlar took the chef prisoner and apprehended the rest in a struggle. Sith Zynn burnt the twi'leks trying to gain more information and then turned over room 8-1. On the way back I looked into Adok's apartment which was fully cleared and abandoned. A scouting spot perhaps. The last apartment housed the teenagers family and collaborators. They were terminated. Before we left I made a psychometric reading on the scramble-key. The twi'leks and their neighbors were terrorists aiming to take one of our shuttles and blow up one of our Dreadnoughts with ordinance cargo. We assisted in the clean up and escorted our prisoner out with the insurgent plan foiled and weakened.

- Assistant-Arbitrator Vayek Vipion, Apprentice of Sith Zynn

Comments:

This investigation was made on a lead from our interrogations of prisoners taken from the insurgent attack on the cantina housing the imperial barracks. That attack had successfully stolen imperial weapons and the men in apartment 8-2 did indeed carry imperial issue blasters, and thus most if not all residents of the 8th floor were more than likely collaborators.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
