What is this thread for?
This thread is to add structure and a semblence of setup to the way the Household and the powerbase structures its intelligence network The idea behind the thread is to create a degree of realism to how Intelligence is managed and of course to create rp for both imperials and sith alike with these departments, fully approachable IC within reason
Why is it setup?
Without going into much of the IC, the OOC reason this thread exists is to create rp, to add an extra layer to events and to the Imperial side of things, These distinct departments are interactable, and the Agents side of this thread is designed to open up the Intelligence avenue for players within HH, be it through operations. events or guild arcs, These characters can be utilised to create parts of a wider story, just like Imperial NPCs and Sith NPCs give out tasks and missions, so can these.
What does it offer?
The intention of the thread is to offer more avenues of rp, new event ideas in the realm of intelligence, espionage, sabotage, infiltration, stealth missions even. This also allows for the potential use of Military intelligence factoring into events and missions, how much would the party know? How much information is relevent to their part of the mission, Are informants feeding correct intelligence? etc.
This document is semi public to most, meaning icly some of this document is public knowledge and other areas require credentials to access further, or specific permission to access! The branches are publically known, aswell as agent names but not their identities, This is of course due to the nature of Intelligence, Any questions of what is able to be accessed, do not hesitate to ask me! Or ask leive IC if its an IC inquiry!

H.I.D - Horuset Intelligence Division
"The flow of steady information can turn the tide of warfare. Collected intelligence can give soldiers and sith alike, an inherent advantage over the enemy in the field and within deployments across the powerbase, be them Naval or Army, Household Intelligence has to be accurate, precise and important to give the ability to act upon such the most effectively. From a traditional point of view, Knowledge, and information, is power, both internal and external. The upper echelons of the powerbase require information to instruct on how is best to govern and what direction this powerbase or certain people are required to be corrected in their path.
From the Military aspect, This document is to provide both a service for Imperial personal to assist in, and for the Sith to serve as Disciples in the realm of Intelligence, assisting servicemen in the field and the Conservancy in whatever threat may come. In house or otherwise"
~Seeker Leivé
H.I.D - Horuset Intelligence Division
The Horuset Intelligence Division [H.I.D] is the overall commanding body of the Powerbase's Intelligence Network, Comprised of the Seeker, Seeker's Disciples [if deemed necessary] and any command staff in control of Units that directly deal with Military intelligence, or are deemed appropriate for the meeting, ie Unit COs, The hand of Horuset, Envoy of War and any other Envoy positions the Agenda involves.
The H.I.D is divided into 3 distinct branches:
- C.I.D - Centralised Intelligence Division
Responsible for Internal intelligence, monitoring and analysis of Holonet traffic within the Internal domain, the C.I.D Is a formal department responsible for maintaining, protecting and securing both the Horuset Holo network, the Archives and the storage facilities. The CID directly assists the Military sector or the Chief of Security, providing security personal with camera footage and other sources of information.
The CID is split into two distinct Departments: S.D - The Surveillance Department and H.D - The Holonet Department.
The S.D is responsible for in-house security monitoring through means of cameras, security droids, and listening devices should the need occur. Assisting in providing information to the Head of Security, the S.D strongly supports onsite security personnel both within the Horuset Estate and Horuset Spire alike.
The H.D is responsible for Horuset's Network security platform. Through the means of Analysts and Holosecurity personnel, this department protects the household's infrastructure in the capacity of communications and network access. The H.D also assists with setting executive privileges across the entire Horuset database and network, providing the rank based access rights we all see in-house today. This is the closest to a civilian department, though maintains a small amount of Military significance in securing communications and secure datapad transfers from across the powerbase.
- M.I.D - Military Intelligence Division
Responsible for Information of Military significance, the M.I.D handles sourcing, gathering and distribution of Intelligence to all Horuset forces. The department that factors in and decides what information should be acted upon in a military capacity, this department is also responsible for passing information to designated commanders, and Commanding officers within the field, as well as command staff, so they can determine where said information should be utilised.
The Military Intelligence division is segregated into two distinct Sections of operations: A. I - Army Intelligence and N.I - Naval Intelligence.
Army Intelligence [A.I] is responsible for on the ground reconnaissance and Mission integrity, soldiers deployed within scouting operations or Reconnaissance come under the Army Intelligence directive. On the Ground, intelligence can also be supported via the N.I., with the use of Naval Vessels such as fighter craft and scouting vessels to provide Aeriel recon. Army intelligence can of course request the use of specialised units via the Envoy of War to resolve tasks paramount to Mission integrity. The Army Intelligence Section is also responsible for maintaining Mission integrity and on the ground, Counterintelligence and espionage Operations.
Naval Intelligence [N.I] is responsible for Intelligence relating to the Navy, handling information such as vessel deployments, Patrol routes to ensure the safety of all imperial Vessels. Naval Intelligence is also responsible for counterintelligence, electronic warfare defences on all vessels, and enemy ship movements. To do this, sensor probes and other methods are used to detect movements or direct intelligence sent by wider sectors of the Empire.
- P.I.D - Peripheral Intelligence Division
Responsible for the External Intelligence and operatives outside of Imperial territories. The Peripheral Intelligence Division [P.I.D] is far less conventional that the imperial sector counterparts. Using private Informants and externally/internally trained agents, the P.I.D protects the household's interests, across the Empires borders, but not out of our reach. Operating from a small HQ on Nar Shaddaa, Operatives bare no imperial ties, and normally recruited from the far more downtrodden of society, with the inspiration of proving themselves in the eyes of the Empire and its well-oiled machine.
The P.I.D Is one branch in itself. Its Agents and informants [more so the latter] lay dormant and assist powerbase assets within the Neutral Territories and beyond. Although attempts to infiltrate republic lined worlds have been attempted by this department, there has been no success, and until then this Division is one with no subsections. The P.I.D's main assigned role however is to recruit new operatives, new agents for in the field, planting and maintaining their dormancy for future use

Current Agents of the Powerbase
Below is a listed record of the Powerbase's Field Agents on both active deployments and awaiting assignment as shown within their Dossiers below:
Agent Faux was better known as Jag Kurt during her time stationed on Zakuul as a servant of a prominent politician. Since the operation that saw her returned to Sith Space, Faux was reassigned to the Hoth Outpost that the Kalkorans maintain out on the frozen wasteland so that she could acclimatise back to working alongside Imperial troops in hostile conditions. During her time on Hoth, she oversaw teams that would keep continual watch over the starship Graveyard and its White Maw occupants.
Since such a time however, Agent Faux has again been reassigned to another location. Her tendency to be more jumpy than her old peers has left an impression on the Lords of the Kalkoran Powerbase, as they keep a close eye on the Agent to see if she can be fixed, or needs to be replaced.
Agent Faux made a reappearance within the Horuset Powerbase after she was captured by a group of pirates during undercover work. A Fire Team of Imperial Soldiers, headed by Ensign Igneel and containing both Private Erdelle and Specialist Tiberillus infiltrated the pirate camp using subterfuge and rescued the Agent. Leaving quite an impression on the Fire Team, a closer professional relationship between Agent Faux and the Soldiers of the Horuset Powerbase is being considered by Lord Kalkoran himself.
Currently under Lord Kalkoran's Permission, has been assigned to being a Handler. The promotion is designed to allow transparency as a liason to manage and assist Agents with day to day reports, missions and other matters that are required

Postings of Importance
Below is the current list of main postings [Temporary or perminent] available to agents:
The Imperial Listening Post was rediscovered by Lord Kalkoran in the wake of the Orsus campaign. Abandoned during the Cold War as the frontlines pushed further coreward, with the turn of fortune that saw the Sith Empire pushed back to it's old frontlines from decades previous during the Galactic War and now the Third Galactic War, the Listening Post has been restaffed by Kalkoran Communications Operatives and is used by the Conservancy and the war effort of the Horuset Powerbase as a whole.
It was recaptured during a mission set out for the Horuset Powerbase that saw the reactivation of the facility. It was entirely unmanned and no combat ensured, with three systems needing to be successfully reactivated to see the station operational. Originally aimed to help the Sith Empire take Corellia at the onset of the Galactic War, it now can provide valuable military intelligence to the Horuset Powerbase when those of power deem to make use of it.
Currently the listening post is used by Horuset Agents as a safe haven and as a posting for direct intelligence to be acted upon and agents dispatched to deal with matters swiftly and effectively
Nar Shaddaa was the largest moon of Nal Hutta. More commonly known as the Vertical City, the Smugglers' Moon, Little Coruscant. Nar Shaddaa is similar to Coruscant in that its surface is entirely overgrown with city sprawl for millennia. But unlike Coruscant, which is only relatively rundown and dangerous on the lower and under levels of the world city, Nar Shaddaa is filthy, polluted, and infested with crime everywhere.
Nevertheless Nar Shaddaa remains the most important financial and trading center within Hutt Space. Because of this importance? It is a major focus point for intelligence within house regarding the P.I.D due to its trade and economic importance, despite the Hutt decline in the past years. The powerbase itself has stakes and holdings on the smugglers moon, transports transporting goods from this world. The house takes its security seriously, and such an unstable planet like this, requires informants, agents to protect goods and resources from the many dangerous factions.
Status: Active
Activity: High
Current posting roles: Counter Insurgency, counter espionage, Information gathering, sabotage, asset protection.
Another destination previously deployed on by the Powerbase, orsus is currently undergoing changes to imperial rule, with a degree of republic sentiment on the planet, a large war torn city like planet, with large districts still in poverty and ruin. Imperial forces have had minor problems with the populace. Security forces rely on Intelligence of pro republic rehetoric, and the Division for propaganda rhetoric.
Currently this posting is a low risk, counter intelligence and counter insurgency posting, where newer agents can indeed get in the field experience.
Status: Active
Activity: Low
Current posting roles: Mild Counter Insurgency, counter espionage
Plooma has been the deployment of Horuset powerbase many times before. A buffer planet and farmland world before the vital shipyards of Sernpidal, Plooma has been a planet of instability in recent times, influenced by the republic, and a food shortage across the world, had previously led to armed rebellion backed by the republic, with the Powerbase's forces slowly being overwhelmed, the House stepped in.
Made up of mostly farmland, however some industrial sectors, settlements and cities, the planet itself is not of real significance, other than its protection planet of Sernpidal
In recent months it has been an active deployment for the Division, deployed there to make sure any Rebel cells still active are rooted out and put out of their misery. Currently a small on hand group of surveilance analysts and security teams provide around the clock counter insurgency assisting Garrison forces in maintaining order and safety.
Status: Active
Activity: Medium
Current posting roles: Counter Insurgency, counter espionage, populace informancy
The most recent deployment of the powerbase, described as having lushious oceans and beautiful continents, Dubrillion was in chaos, the Empire and the Republic at odds over the fate of the planet. With the ruling class comprised of a nobility in a feudal system. The area is now considered a deadzone for intelligence, After the Household bombed ints infastructure into oblivion. The H.I.D now has 0 ground based assets, Naval intelligence is still assisting the Battlegroups within Dubrillion space however
Status: Active
Activity: Critical
Current posting roles: Surveilance
The crown jewel of the powerbase, Sernpidal is of paramount importance to both the Empire, and the powerbase. It's shipwards provide production of vessels of varying scale. The Heart of industry within the Northern Territories, it's surface factories and production facilities.
Sernpidal itself is a inactive posting, those who are stationed there tend to be training security personel in investigation techniques or other skills necessary for law enforcement. It is also home to A small training facility posting for Agents who are otherwise on standby and do not wish to move back to the Capital.
Status: Inactive
Activity: Low
Current posting roles: Training

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
