"Allies of the powerbase, I present you with an opportunity."
Daxze leans forwards towards the viewer, the shadows on her face become sharper as she speaks calmly. "Lord Kalkoran has an ongoing interest in Sernpidal, as you are surely well aware at this point in time. In an ongoing measure I have been monitoring the situation in various worker colonies for nearby refineries to ensure complete subjugation and control. I have found some of these settlements to be lacking and wanting. Recent attempts at re-subjugating have revealed that there is more than meets the eye with these self-proclaimed rebels. This by-product of a functioning society needs to be taken care of. I will be launching multiple assaults on their base of operations, located underneath multiple townships and worker villages. This operation is the one where I expect the most resistance so prepare for close quarter combat. We cannot afford to falter in bringing Sernpidal back into the full Imperial fold. Now, onto the specifics. Entry will be through the houses the previous operation proved to be traitors. Make your way down the twisting corridors of the underground complex and deal with the expected opposition with maximum prejudice. You are to bring in ringleaders for questioning so we can completely dismantle their efforts. You're going in blind so I need the best of the best. No fuckups or wild attempts, only success will suffice. While you concern yourself with this, two secondary groups will enter the facility from other entry points."
With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.

Location: Secret installation beneath worker settlement 27-A2.
OOC Location: Which in-game location to use something with tight corridors, can provide a SH if needed.

Objectives:
Primary Objective I: Clear out the installation as part of a three pronged attack.
Primary Objective II: Investigate the installation and recover useful information and assets.
Primary Objective III: Capture their leaders.
Secondary Objective I: Subjugate with prejudice.

Time Frame:
This mission is time-sensitive, there’s 1 month (05/06/2022) as the rebels are already undermining authority.

Estimated Party Size: 4-5 (of which one Arbitrator)

Rewards:
Acolytes will be rewarded with a piece of armour to wear under their robes, sanctioned by Lord Kalkoran's authority.

Apprentices or Neophytes and those beyond this rank will receive a reward of their own choosing, within reason. From myself or Lord Kalkoran.

Imperials will receive a stipend of credits and access to a new weapon modification or cybernetic enhancement. With Lord Kalkoran's authority.

Reminder: Assets are NOT to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.

After Action Report, Operation: School of Hard Knocks

INTRODUCTION:

Apprentice Kaleehi assumed leadership on the ground. The tasks were to find an entrance to the tunnels, remove any rebels, secure vital intel as well as any leaders we could find.

Details of Operation:

Our drop off was swiftly met with resistance by anti-air so we had to deploy infront of the settlement instead of within. After a sudden ambush from a mixed assault of turrents and rebels, resistance was swiftly struck down as we cleared most of the settlement. Apprentice Roi secured the tunnel entrance in the foreman miners office while Apprentice Varrixon secured the medical building tunnel entrance. Apprentice Vilia Vipion and Apprentice Kaleehi interrogated a group in the community building, securing a map of the tunnels and intel about the remaining leader in the tunnels. Then the two of them entered the tunnel behind the community building while Roi and Varrixon entered their respective tunnels. Apprentice Vayek Vipion stayed behind to secure the settlement and make sure we would be safe to re-emerge after the task is done. After discovery of a bunker within the tunnel system the group stopped an early attempt to bomb the whole place by the insurgents as they were interrupted by the presumed leader, Uncle Melker, on the intercom who openly announced his agenda against the Empire and a gun shot was heard. Fearing a failed objective we rushed into the room where Uncle remained and Roi and Kaleehi were able to stabilize him enough to extract him as the coward merely had the guts to shoot himself in them, the guts. In the mean time Varrixon secured the sought after intel from their terminals while Vilia Vipion and Roi secured left over equipment as Kaleehi evacuated the leader. After emerging from the tunnels Varrixon rigged the explosives to blow up the tunnels for good and we returned to the shuttle with Apprentice Vayek Vipion.

Comments:
Most of the settlement burnt down during the initial assault and the tunnels should now be caved in for good. A few civilians were allowed to leave in exchange for information and to spread the good will of the Empire amongst other settlements. Uncle Melker was brought into custody after medical treatment to be interrogated later.

I want to give a special commendation to Apprentice Varrixon for protecting the group as a whole, good thinking and advice throughout the operation. In turn Vilia Vipion should know when to stand down and listen to orders better, she was overeager at times.
