Physical Description:
A full-sized warrior of a Sith, this tall woman is extremely well-toned, muscles outlined against her outfit when she stretches. Her normal attire at the moment consists of tall boots, robes with an almost ceremonial look, and a chinguard showing hints of proper armor underneath. Facially, her jaw is wide and smooth, and she has prominent ridges along her eyebrows and cheeks, seeming imposing at first glance. Her hair is shaven into a warrior style, and there's no doubts among those Pure that she exhibits a high concentration of Massassi lineage.
Scar(s)/Jewelry:
Has some prominent burnscarring, nothing major, along the left side of her face, her left shoulder, and her side. There's a gnarly burn scar on the front and back of her right shoulder, from a saber impalement, with a meteor tattoo on the front-side as a coverup. When she takes her gloves off, prominent burn-scars can be seen along her fingertips all the way to her wrists and up to the shoulders when her sleeves are up (in electrical fractal patterns, perhaps partly ritually-cut), and slash lines decorate her left palm. Her jewelry is on the simpler side, metal plates along her brow and eyes embedded into the skin.
She wears almost a sort of charm bracelet, or rosary, that is rarely shown. Six little beads of bone, one slightly bigger than the others, rest on a cord of black - as does a woven red bead in an aesthetically pleasing pattern, a silvery bead with "Gage" engraved on the surface, an iron-like bead with "Cpl.JW" similarly engraved, a bead of blackstone, and a bead of red crystal. One prominent bead of precious Beskar, engraved with her symbol and Mando'an script, stands out from the rest. Around her neck on a sturdy chain is a pendant of carved blackstone.
Personality:
At first glance, she may seem a bit brutish. In fact, she doesn't seem very emotional at all, taking things in a reserved stride. Beneath that, though, lies a different side to her she reserves for the right moment... but outside of that, she usually takes the action of least resistance, only showing strength when necessary and favoring humiliation punishments over harsh beatings. Has a keen interest in forgework, and absorbs knowledge quickly, more intellectual than her size suggests. More than that... her silence belies someone appraising, aware of all around her.
Backstory:
The Varrixon family was always a small one, not prone to offshoots that survived for meaningful lengths of time. When Zakuul hit, Lord Reshnel passed in the initial invasions, and Lord Varrixon threw himself into the war with bloody abandon. When he returned, he was injured, half-broken - not even strong enough to stop the infighting in his own household, losing a daughter in his unintentional negligence.
Stating it as a Rite of Sacrifice, he sent Zartilda to Academy early, and she struggled with her demons. She passed her Academy trials on Kaas, did well to survive. Some strings were pulled, and it was arranged for her to go to Horuset, as he began to sleep - resources sold off to pay for the medical equipment that would serve to preserve his life, until the time was right.
Through turbulent times, and a war on Dubrillion, then Pollus, Zartilda grew. Just before the latter, he awoke again, teaching, getting affairs in order - and when she returned, he was out of time. They dueled, so that he could die on his feet in combat. Zartilda, by Rite of Conquest, was Matriarch. Inheriting a warrior legacy, she vowed she'd bring the Varrixon name back, without living mired in the past anymore. Without miring themselves in the traditions of sacrifice.
