Poisons can be classified into several different groups. The most known types of such are: highly lethal, lethal, possibly lethal and non-lethal ones. Each of poison types has certain rarity and difficulty in production attached to it, grading as first classification stands, non-lethal poisons would be easiest to produce and gather ingredients for as highly lethal ones would require a lot of effort placed into creating such. Most common poisons would be: White Fiijeline, Worrt worm venom. The list of other ones could go on, causing all types of symptoms, here would be a list of poisons used by myself:
-Tirasian Burning Spores - possibly lethal
-Balmorran Curare - possibly lethal
-Kaas nettle - lethal
-Tirasian Arsen Ivy - highly lethal
-(in extreme cases)White fijeline - highly lethal
Most of the potent poisons would be obtained from venomous animals on certain planets, yet the difficulty of such is produced due to the extremely high possibility of one extracting to become injected by such during the extraction process. Poisons extracted from flora are having the possibility of being extremely potent if refined correctly and applied in a certain way, most of the poisons are extremely effective when applied to the bloodstream, but some require a different area of effectiveness. Five types of poisonous plants
Homework - Toxicology - Lesson 2
by acolyte Jen’kaar Nakits Vipion
CHAWIX - Location: Planet Ansion (Mid Rim, Churnis Sector)
- Description: small carnivorous plant, light and have a vine aspect, usually there are multiple bundled up and use the winds of Ansions in order to be propelled and travel around;
- Toxin: a powerful nerve poison, injected into the flesh of the victim via the many thorns found along the body of the plant; once injected, the poison will act surprisingly quick, first attacking the internal organs and causing heart failure, and then once the toxin has spread enough, it will turn the victim’s flesh into a liquified mess, upon which the plant will then feed.
Student note: these creatures are fascinating, given the fact that individually, a single vine is not capable of capturing even the smallest of prey, having to resort to the effort of clustering up together with many other of its kin, and using the winds upon the planet to do surprise-attacks on their unsuspecting victims.
COMA-BLOOM - Location: Moon Sojourn (satellite of an unnamed planet in the Carrion Sector, Outer Rim)
- Description: flower located in the artificially created forests of Sojourn. It’s shape resembles that of a curved horn, and its coloration is yellow, can be found blossoming on the branches of low trees, and can be easily picked up.
- Toxin: the plant has a staggering high level of alkaloids which affect the brain upon consuming any part of the plant, placing any individual into a comatose state quickly, eventually leading to death
Student note: while I personally find the manner in which the idea of grinding up this plant into a fine powder of paste which can be placed within one’s food or beverage, the fast-acting nature of the toxin will offer a clean death to the victim, making it quite an uneventful scene to watch for my tastes.
DARKKONINN
- Location: Planet Gorsh (Gorsh system, Wild Space)
- Description: The description of this plant is not one of great detail, however records indicate it having luscious-looking, yet poisonous, black berries.
- Toxin: It has been hard to pin-point directly how the toxin acts, however the only information given is that it is fast-acting. That leads me to believe that the toxin attacks the nervous system, causing organ failure, leading to cardiac arrest, or making the organs stop functioning.
HARROWBANE
- Location: Randorn 2 (Outer Rim, Belderone sector)
- Description: the plant is described as a shrub/weed type of herb, and it is considered sacred by the natives of Randorn 2, as they use it in order to construct barriers to ward off wildlife.
- Toxin: The notable information regarding this plant is that it dispenses an acidic-type of substance which burns flesh.
Student note: Perhaps the acidic properties of Harrowbane can be used in a way in which a small considerable amount of the substance can be mixed with food, and thus, once ingested, it can lead to a slow burning from within of the victim’s internal organs. Painful, cruel yet efficient, as the scent of this substance can be labelled off as ‘seasoning’ within a meal.
STINGWORT
- Location: Drongar (Outer Rim, Drongar system)
- Description: a small plant which grows in patches and has a distinct purple coloration.
- Toxin: It is indicated that the plant, if stepped on, and comes in direct contact with a victim’s skin, will leave the victim in days of excruciating pain.
Student note: There are indications of cases where the victims died due to anaphylactic shock. This leads me to believe that the plant is covered in tiny, perhaps microscopic barbs, which upon contact releases the toxin into the victim’s system, which has a very fast-acting property. Furthermore, it appears that the toxin is not fatal if in a small quantity, yet if exposed to a significant amount, or perhaps for a long time, the victim will die from excessive amounts of pain.

Venom extraction process - Cave Spider
Homework - Toxicology - Lesson 3
by acolyte Jen’kaar Nakits Vipion
Subject species: Cave Spider
- Location: Ord Cestus (Outer Rim, D’astan sector)
- Description: Sparsely populated yet a dominant species on Ord Cestus, the Cave Spider nests in caves, as its name suggests, and their appearance resembles that of other arachnid species found throughout the Galaxy. It’s size varies from 10 cm to 160 cm (adult).
Student note: The notable feature of this animal which made me choose it for this species as the subject of my study was not just the recent happenings during the last lesson, but more so the fact that it shoots its sticky webbing and venom at its prey. It is noted that these beasts hunt in packs, and that these packs use various means of taking down prey. This denotes several key features: there is a modicum of intelligence, thus making this creature use a form a communication in order to have such traits, most likely usage of pheromones. Also, it is implied that they are highly territorial, so isolating one specimen would be the first hurdle needed to be overcome in order to extract the desired toxic venom.
There is not much more information found regarding this species, thus leaving much of the biology of this species a subject of supposition as well as associating it with other arachnid creatures.
That being said, below is my proposed method which a Force sensitive with enough training and guidance can use in order to obtain venom from a Cave Spider which would be a young subject, though not an adult one, having a distinct size of approximately 50 cm, if isolated from its pack.
Proposed method used for ‘milking’ the venom:
- No beast would ever allow itself to be captured and not react violently, and given the fact that Cave Spiders shoot web and venom, if the user would devise a way of capturing said shot venom (such as a container), they would only need to deal with the aspect of the webbing, which is not a difficult task if facing just 1 specimen;
- However, a calculated approach would be to immobilize the beast by the usage of either telekinesis to immobilize it (techniques such as Force Grip) or perhaps clouding its mind, by using a wide array of techniques such as Force Slow (albeit channeled constantly over a significant amount of time) or Tricking it’s Mind in order to keep it calmed;
- If such a feat is managed successfully, a simple process of placing a vial/container close to the fangs of the Cave Spider is all that is needed in order to ‘milk’ the venom, which also can be done by using Telekinesis, not holding directly onto the vial/container with one's hand.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
 |
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
