APPEARANCE

With her light blue eyes and her crimson red hair, Evelyn Ghûl certainly is pleasing to the eye. She is well aware of this and she takes pride in her appearance. Evelyn always takes care of herself to ensure her looks remain proper. She usually keeps her hair in a combination of a tight bun and braid along her back, but in private she prefers to keep it down. In such moments she has long, slightly wavy hair down to the middle of her back. The large scar Evelyn has above her eyebrow down to her cheekbone is a very present feature on her face. She doesn’t like it but she found a way to live with it. 

Evelyn has a soft and soothing voice, with the potential to sound extremely flirty, something she likes to exploit. She has a strong Imperial accent, which clearly originates from Dromund Kaas, where she spent a majority of her youth. She pronounces her words in a proper and clear manner.

PERSONALITY

Evelyn is an introvert and she likes to remain to herself. Evelyn doesn’t trust easily and doesn’t really open up to those around her. When she does, however, a jolly side of Evelyn comes to the surface. She enjoys quiet moments and to have fun, something she doesn’t get to experience often. Another thing that she likes is to play with the feelings of others. She also likes to watch when pain gets inflicted onto others, or to do it herself. 

Evelyn has always had a high urge to prove herself. Her biggest fear is to actually be the failure her parents always told her that she was. Which has led to a fear of making mistakes, especially a fear of the consequences of such mistakes. However, despite this, when she has her mind set on something she might be slightly impulsive, making quick decisions without thinking.

Evelyn is short-tempered and gets angry fairly quickly, but she doesn’t always show it. When someone hurts or betrays her she has a hard time forgiving them. She only will if she profits from it herself, if not, she will hold grudges against them forever.

BACKSTORY

Evelyn Ghûl was born on a planet called Hallion located in the Sith Worlds of the Outer Rim. Her parents, Callan and Amaya Ghûl, served a powerbase unknown to Evelyn and were responsible for her home planet. They ruled it with an iron fist while they took care of the planet’s factories where obsidian was processed, ensuring workers remained productive. When the couple got their only child they merely saw Evelyn as a resource. Not as a child and certainly not as their daughter. Through the years her parents slowly lost their grip on Hallion and began to run out of money due to their expensive way of life. They saw Evelyn as the perfect pawn to eventually regain their influence and power. 

As a newborn Evelyn was sent away to Dromond Kaas where she spent most of childhood. Here she was raised by a woman who went by the name of Mara Jenn, the only person who was ever kind to her during her childhood. Her parents had very little time for her and simply didn’t care about her. Evelyn saw them a few times a year at most. She never received much parental love, if any. 

From an early age, her parents put a lot of pressure on her to always do her best. When she succeeded, they treated her well enough and she was rewarded with material things. And the one thing that she desired the most as a young girl: the approval and attention of her parents. However, she was punished severely if she did not meet the harsh requirements set by her parents. Their unrealistic requirements, they never taught her anything but they expected her to know everything. Evelyn’s punishments were both physical and mental. Throughout the years she has seen many forms of abuse. 

When Evelyn was still a child, her father punished her and scarred her with his lightsaber on her face. So that everyone could see her for the failure that she was, in his eyes. Ever since Evelyn absolutely hated her scar and doesn’t talk about it to anyone. At the age of twelve, her father wanted to inflict another scar upon the girl's face. In an act of fear Evelyn used the Force to stop him from doing this. Until then nothing had shown that she was Force-Sensitive. Evelyn is immediately sent to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas to become an acolyte.
