SITUATION

One of the many postings commissioned by Imperial Command in the aftermath of Operation: Freedom Fall has gone dark, all communication to and from have ceased as of four hours ago. We believe the cause for this is another irregularly moving storm meteorologists had begun tracking blowing over the posting and causing malfunctions, or outright destruction, of equipment and/or continual interference from the storm. However, is it greatly speculated that the comm silence is also potentially in relation to what those dispatched from the Horuset powerbase had encountered elsewhere in the jungle, though not a guarantee. As a result, Command has deemed it fit to award those that sign up hazard pay due to the potential threats.

The post is predominantly used as a FOB for the hunting parties after the missing theorised rebel leader Tuai Halax to deploy from, RTB and to use as a medical station. It is manned by thirty soldiers along with multiple squads of Imperial battle droids to aid in providing extra security. Leadership within the post is heralded by Lieutenant John Nateri, followed by his second in command Ensign Racia Moores. Images of both officers is provided within the file below.

[Lt. Nateri is a middle-aged man, late forties, grey/dark brown hair and facial hair, green eyes, pale skin and a plump-ish build. Ensign Moores is likewise a middle-aged woman, mid-thirties, black hair, yellow eyes, fit soldier's build.]

The squad is to conduct reconnaissance, find out what happened to the soldiers and if the posting is secure and return to base. This is not a combat mission.

Sithspawn (numbers unknown, types unknown - potentially similar to the arachnid-humanoid hybrid reported by Lord Vipion-- said to be extremely powerful]

The ISS Patriot is in the area and will be available for a quick RTB and to act as a medical station, though it will remain mostly out from the storm

Command's Judgement:
With communication interference more than likely guaranteed, a solider will be provided the commlink booster in order to better communicate in case of emergency reports and for evacs. Additionally, the rest of the squad will be provided with air-drop jetpacks in case of an unavoidable encounter with Sithspawn to better even the odds. Risk is extraordinary; squad leader may call off the mission and RTB if the threat is deemed too high.
