Public Call for Operation Team Assembly
Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:
"To those who watch this, know that I, as Lord Kalkoran am putting out a bounty on a beast that has been shadowing several of the patrols around the Kalkoran Estate.
For several days now the outskirts of the Kalkoran Estate on its most northern side, the furthest from the Main Building have been hounded by a Beast that the patrols have been unable to identify. They've begun speaking in hushed whispers about a 'Lingering Shadow' and sounds from the underbrush that remind them all of a varied array of Beasts. Both native to Dromund Kaas and not. It is possible that it is not one beast, but several, for the reports of the encounters vary wildly. One thing is certain however, the beast is not attacking the patrols. Merely causing them to lose heart, their sanity slipping and their willingness to patrol the perilous jungle falling becoming lack."
*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*
Location: The Location will be the Northern Jungle outside of the Kalkoran Estate, merely a kilometre or less away from the Kalkoran Estate.
((The Location OOCly can be any part of the Jungle in Drommund Kaas. I would recommend the Jungle parts that are between The Wall, Kaas City and Outpost Tempest.))
The Beast: The Beast itself has been described as both gargantuan in height and as small and agile as death itself. It is described by the patrols to be a Shadow that slips among the trees, the patrols feeling as if a thousand eyes and one are constantly watching them. It has proven elusive to patrols that were sent out to kill the beast, but whether that was unwillingness to find it or merely incompetence is as of yet unknown. The Beast seems unnaturally intelligent for it to shadow, stalk and mock the patrols but not outright attack them. The force may be at play.
Objectives: In this task there will be one primary objectives and two secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Hunt down the Mocking Beast and bring its head back to Lord Kalkoran within the time parameters.
Secondary Objective I: Search for the nest or home of the Beast, see if it has any young or eggs that can be recovered for Lord Sanguinis within the time parameters.
Secondary Objective II: Figure out if the Beast has been influenced by the Force and if it has, how.
Time Frame: The group will have 17 days to complete the task and have the beast's head within Lord Kalkoran's possession.
((The 18th of October will be the deadline!))
Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a group size of no more than four will ensure that the Beast is taken care of swiftly and efficiently.
