The Hunt for Lord Sanguinis - The Seeing Eye

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly
The Hunt for Lord Sanguinis - The Seeing Eye

Attached to the file would be a pre-recorded holo message that would play when opened. Elias' form would come to life in the traditional display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue light highlighting some features whilst diminishing others. Angling his chin slightly upwards he would begin speaking, his voice cutting through the air like a velvet buzzsaw.

"The search for Lord Sanguinis continues, a new thread has become apparent for us to follow. In order to pursue this lead the Horuset Powerbase must work with my contact in the Sphere of Mysteries."

"To many Alchemists the Terentatek is considered to be one of the most perfect forms of Sithspawn. Yet to others, the ambitious, it is simply a step on the pathway to perfection. One such Alchemist attempted to create an 'improved' form of Terentatek, one that was capable of seeing through the force. Their experiments failed, creating something lesser. Yet it was still strong enough to kill its creator, strong enough to run rampant on the deserts and through the jungles of Athiss. Whilst the effects of the creature's rampage were obvious, its path was difficult to determine."

"A lair has been located by the Sphere of Mysteries and, in exchange for exterminating it, we will be allowed to keep the crystal that has replaced one of the creature's eyes. A crystal vital for the hunt for Lord Sanguinis. No other samples are to be taken, from the creature or the lair, as the rest of the body is promised to the Sphere.."

"Due to the dangerous nature of this mission no more than two Acolytes or Imperials can attend. The rest must be Sith who have passed their trials."

With that, he smiles and the holo-feed cuts out.

Location: Athiss

[ooc location: a cave on dromund kaas or open area on korriban would suffice.]

Objectives:
Primary Objective I: Deploy onto Athiss and locate the creature's lair
Primary Objective II: Locate and follow tracks to the creature's position and eliminate it
Primary Objective III: Retrieve the eye from the creature and nothing more
Secondary Objective I: Mark the body for collection by the Sphere of Mysteries

Rewards:
Acolytes will be rewarded with a piece of armour to wear under their robes, sanctioned by Lord Kalkoran's authority.

Those who have successfully passed their Acolyte Trials, and ascended above the rank of Acolyte, will receive a reward of their own choosing, within reason. From myself or Lord Kalkoran.

Imperials will receive a stipend of credits and access to a new weapon modification or cybernetic enhancement. With Lord Kalkoran's authority.

Time Frame: This mission is time sensitive, a period of four weeks is estimated before the creature has escaped the trackers. (30/07/22)

Estimated Party Size: It is estimated that a team of six individuals, with no more than a total of two Acolytes or Imperials among them, will be able to complete this mission.

Reminder: Assets are NOT to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
