*As the file is accessed, the red-and-black robed form of Apprentice Valeus Vexal Horuset flickered to life in the usual cyan hues of a holorecording, the colours of his robes twisted into a mockery of their appearance through the ever-changing pigments of the recording. The Horuset Apprentice stood with his hands folded in front of his abdomen in the manner of a priest, covering none of the red markings on his long, black robes. Tendrils dangled from his chin and jawbones, marks of Purity all; blood-red gaze set on the viewer, the young Horuset appeared older than he was as he slightly inclined his head to whoever was watching the recording. When he began speaking, his voice was deep and melodious: the rolling thunder of the ocean.*
“Xenophilia. A blight upon the values of our Empire. A pox on the face of the galaxy. It is what brings a civilisation closer to the edge that is the realm of chaos, of disorder and of its descent into darkness and lethe. Xenophilia is the loving of foreign things more than one’s own. And what consequence does that pose for a nation?
“A cult of Xenophiles has taken root at the edge of civilisation on the planet of Ostor in the Koradin Sector of the Outer Rim. While it is a small-scale group at the current time, if left alone this cult has the potential to grow and spread, perhaps inciting planetwide unrest. To prevent this, I wish to see the cult exterminated, its history demolished, and all memory of it gone. Cut off the head of the snake, and the body shall wither away. However, to study the way such an organization is founded, and in what way it spreads through Imperial society -- and thus prevent it from occurring again -- I would wish anything of note relating to the cult’s founding to be brought to me. In return for their efforts, those participating in the Operation will gain my favour.”
*And with that, the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*
Location: The planet of Ostor, Koradin Sector, Outer Rim.
OOC location: I recommend using either Camp Karnori or Outpost Salara on Tatooine.
Objectives: In this task, there shall be two Primary Objectives (have to be done) and one Secondary Objective (can be done):
- Primary Objective I: Exterminate the cult and all that is associated with it.
- Primary Objective II: Make sure the involvement of the House remains unknown.
- Secondary Objective I: Bring anything of note relating to the cult's founding back to the Apprentice.
((The 4th of October shall be the deadline!))
Estimated Party Size: The Apprentice considers a party of four sufficient for the task at hand.
Reminder: Assets are NOT to be earned or taken in these, they are not meant to be for accumulating stuff. Maybe some money and little trophies might be gained but never anything large.
