Report: Operation Clear Skies
by Acolyte Agran

Following briefing at the CCP, the Horuset Forces departed towards Garrison 4, destination House Taril's own project within the Mountain that the rebels had been using for their hideout with the aid of her traitorous husband.

The forces were thus split and I was assigned to a strike group composed of Apprentice Nivalis, Apprentice KrassusAcolyte Magdalene, and Superior Supervisor Harkan, led by Sith Kelsa.

Upon landing we were welcomed by a tunnel, at the end of which we took a repulsorlift, accessed through clearance cards given to use by Lady Taril, and promptly engaged an entrenched group of twenty rebel combatants stationed at the lift junction, who were neutralized swiftly and with minimal effort with no casualties were sustained on our side.

Upon entering the caldera interior, we identified three critical points of interest: a makeshift communications station to the left, a covered staging platform directly ahead, and active shuttle pads to the right. Sith Kelsa led us toward the shuttle zone with the objective of disrupting the rebel evacuation.

As we advanced, Sith Kelsa called in a strafing run from Supremacy-class fighters to eliminate the escaping transports. However, a rebel anti-air emplacement, previously dormant, was activated near the ridge and successfully forced our air support to break off.

Recognizing the necessity of restoring air superiority, I moved to address the threat. Retreating rebels attempted to delay our advance, though they were disposed of accordingly by our team.

While flanking the emplacement, I recovered a blaster ammo pack from a fallen rebel combatant I had slain, turning it into a makeshift explosive which I hurled towards the turret, destroyed in the explosion that ensued.

As I was doing such, a neutral shuttle, damaged by the blockade, entered the area and deployed a detachment of six Republic soldiers bearing the sigil of the Serapin Division, along with a confirmed Jedi presence donning dark robes who quickly engaged us, with the Jedi voicing out his desire to face Sith.

Alongside Apprentice Nivalis and Acolyte Magdalene the soldiers were dealt with, and I proceeded with the Apprentice to check the Shuttle they brought in to land in order to secure it, slaying the pilots and a soldier that remained within, all whilst Sith Kelsa and Apprentice Krassus fought the Jedi.

Our side was then reinforced by the joining of Sith Andnoa, an Imperial, Acolyte Sah'sha and Acolyte Veillion. Despite my attempts to bring their focus onto the remaining shuttle that needed to be secured, they all jumped to fight the Jedi like moths flocking to a flame. I and Apprentice Nivalis kept on executing Sith Kelsa's orders, and we thus proceeded to the next Shuttle in duo, delivering swift death to the soldiers and rebels that protected it, returning in time to witness Sith Kelsa and Sith Andnoa as they executed the Jedi, with the latter ultimately claiming its saber after a brief misshap by Acolyte Veillion.

With such, the day was won.

Personal Considerations:
Our strike force worked well, taking advantage of one another's strengths, openings and giving no quarter to our enemies. The neutral shuttle used by the Jedi and his squad could be acquired and used for similar infiltrations elsewhere.

In service,
Acolyte Agran.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
