Public Call for Operation Assembly

The file opens to display a small woman, bulked up by armour and muscle. She dresses in warrior black with an unmarked mask without etches. Sharp claws array themselves on her knuckles. Esme Roi puts her hands at ease behind her back.

"Introducing G3-0D6 or 'Geode' as it calls itself. This pretty pathetic little protocol droid functionary has been a significant contributor to the downfall of several nationalisation arrangements between myself and Orbanat Corporation's subsidiaries. My failures including but not limited to a small electronics factory, I have been trying to obtain for some time. It, in its position as a functionary for the Orbanat Corporation, has been intentionally sabotaging arrangements with the Empire, by delaying, losing flimsiwork, causing immense data crashes and harbouring malware in Imperial systems.... Supposedly, at least, in truth if it's a scapegoat or not, Orbanat have managed to cling onto their subsidiaries long enough, for other their valiant defenders, my rivals to take control of them instead.

And now, I am told that Geode has escaped into the sewers. This little fiasco has been not only for me but for them and the Empire at large. This joke cannot persist, will not persist. But it unfortunately aligns with other information I've been told about the sewers, my Orsus Military Police have informed me, that several strange energy readings have been discovered within them. I monitor vast swathes of the sewers but there are many things that apparently yet pass me by deep within a dark recess, forgotten by Orsus is apparently a growing micronation of droids that originated as they hid, during the First Battle of Orsus and has persisted, as an escaping haven for those who have gone rogue... Apparently, they want to play at sentience, let us show them just how the Empire treat their kind. You will enter, secure them with restraining bolts or destroy them. The only one I require is G3-0D6, he has the company information within his memory banks which will be the key to our success in the negotiations that follow."

With that, the holo would flicker and fade from view, allowing the viewer to access the rest of the information provided.

Operation Team:
Ensign 'Honour' Kienix
Sergeant R. 'Immortal' Miriadas
Private A. Ven

Report:

Once we touched down upon the LZ and headed to our entry point to the sewer systems, we found there to be two badly decomposed Human bodies strung up by their necks to hang there a small way into the sewers themselves. We were unable to determine whether these were bodies of Imperials, Republic soldiers or civilians due to their state, but I reported it over comms to the military police, that of which I stayed in constant contact with. As we pushed deeper into the sewers, Private Ven led us to a stairwell a little beyond the hanging bodies where we were engaged by a lone droid.

The Private returned fire and destroyed it swiftly. Pushing deeper down the stairwell, a mass of droids were waiting for us. They opened fire with what I can tell to be small-arms, didn't appear to be military grade. The War Droid I had with us to prepare for a large engagement with this supposed micronation of droids proved to be of great effect as its P.S.G and heavy ordnance managed to make quick work of the attackers - I provided this droid with the directive to avoid targeting G3-OD6 to best mitigate accidental damages to the droid. As we continue moving throughout the sewers, we are caught in a cross-fire by droids on both sides of us.

After some exchanges of fire, we manage to dismantle most of the droids, suffering minor blows to our armour. This was when we were suddenly engaged by a large lifter droid outfitted with its own P.S.G and a laser cutter. It grabbed a hold of the War Droid, to which I put more power into its cannons to weaken its surprisingly strong P.S.G, but the War Droid was ultimately destroyed - its insides melted and hurled at the soldiers. It took the combined fire of the fireteam to eventually rid it of its shields and began to deal damage to its chassis. It was eventually defeated by the Sergeant tossing a restraining bolt to the droid where it ultimately turned motionless.

Around this time, we could hear more droids approaching - around three. These droids were G3-OD6 accompanied by a gonk droid and another outfitted with chainsaws. I ordered for their immediate surrender, to that of which two of them did, but the gonk droid was relentless. It charged the fireteam until I issued the Sergeant to disable it with her ion weaponry as I am aware how popular gonk droids rigged with I.E.Ds are. Private Ven secured the target with a restraining bolt and we began to move, disposing of the remaining droid as we had what we needed. We then headed out to rendezvous with the military police.

As an additional note: this serves as Private Ven's Specialist Trial for Heavy Weapons. I note it down as a pass for his efforts in this mission.

For the Empire.

- Ensign Kienix

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
