Situation
Support Units:Sector: Ojoster Sector, bordering the Mezag Sector
Location: Republic Space Station
Time: 8/11/29ATC 22:00 Kaasian Time
A derelict and abandoned Republic space station bordering the Mezeg Sector was left to drift in space by the Republic nearly twenty years ago after an assault conducted by our Empire, leaving us to therorise its destruction. That was fact until just recently, where our Imperial Deep Space Probe Droids had rediscovered the station thanks to an apparent pirate salvaging operation emitting out signals carelessly. The Empire seeks to seize any intelligence from the station's data-banks to ensure whatever was kept there never returns to the Republic's hands, or falls to anothers faction's, and to likewise find anything that may aid in the intense fighting close-by.
Due to the conflict nearby requiring as much resources as possible, little to none can be spared, which is but one reason for this operation being issued to the task force. Leviathan are selected for their experience with the unknown: Sithspawn, other mysterious phenomena. There is the possibility of the presence of the former - Sithspawn - onboard the station due to the Sith that helmed the previous assault recorded to utilise such creatures in their operations. Whether or not their creations still lurk within the station is not confirmed and is unlikely due to the time and damages to the station, but is still a possibility. Extreme caution is advised.

Command's Judgement:
The AO is hazardous due to the void exposure from the damages the station's sustained. Due to this, we've been provided with EVA suits that we're to pair with the Air-Drop Jet-packs to survive and safely manoeuvre through these conditions. An Imperial Astromech Droid is to be taken alongside an Imperial Power (Gonk) Droid to both slice, if no soldiers are capable, and restore power if possible. Until it's confirmed there are no Sithspawn present in the station, the Thought Shield technique is to be utilised. Arrangements can be made for training. If necessary, evacuate and the Herald can target the station to try and destroy the data and the pirates, it's ordnance should manage it if aimed well with the station's already severely damaged state.
Mission
Leviathan
is to gain entry to the station and recover the data stored in its data-banks and eliminate all pirates.
- Gain access to the station.
- Engage and neutralise hostile forces in the area.
- Gather and evaluate enemy intelligence, retrieve it and retreat.
Execution
Decision at Large:
- Mission Objective: Recover intelligence.
- Mission Completed: Enemy intelligence has been retrieved and secured.
- Implementation Idea: Jump from the Herald's hangar and fly with the jetpacks to the target; mission plan and conduct attack.
Guidelines:
- Free radio contact.
- Alarm reports to be reported and acted upon immediately.
- EVAC is available (jetpacks can likewise get you out).
- Avoid use of fragmentation grenades, lack of gravity and air resistance makes them even more dangerous.
Rules of Engagement:
- All non-Imperial forces are to be treated as hostile.
- Firing permission is granted.
- Enemy forces are not to be treated less judged to hold intelligence.

Time Frame: Not really one, but the sooner the better - I'll set it to 20/12/24 because why not.
Estimated Party Size: Ideally, 6 Imperials but there'll never be a limit on you lot. An absolute MAXIMUM of 2 Sith, though you'd need to ask ICly and we'll see if you're compatible or not (I will be biased).
