SITH PRESERVER BRANCH MEMBER REQUIRED
Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"Korriban. The birthplace of our species, of our culture, of our way of life. The homeworld of the Sith, the most holy of the five picked worlds of the Stygian Caldera. A barren landscape, dotted with ruins millennia old. Since the Dark Jedi landed on Korriban and created the Old Sith Empire, Korriban's importance was lost in favour of Ziost. Over time it truly became what was inevitable, a tomb world of ruins and lost histories. It's cities long since destroyed in fighting, it's place in our history relegated from population centre where our species lived, to a world of the dead."
"Yet, even the sands of time cannot obscure all of Korriban's secrets. Tombs of ancient Sith are found in abundance, entire stretches of Korriban's vast surface littered as far as the eye can see with broken statues and monuments to forgotten greatness. What has become difficult to find, is the old cities of Korriban. Where did our ancestors reside when our species was not spacefaring? Where did they live during the great moments of history in the bygone ages?"
"A team of IRS agents with ties to the Vandara Valley have stumbled onto the side of a structure that they believe to be an old administration hub for the region. It's exact age is unknown, it's architecture is still half buried and it does not appear on any known map of the 'Craglands' as the IRS agents have dubbed the region for it's sharp jutting cliff faces that reach up to form canyons and shattered ranges. Thus far, the IRS agents have kept this discovery off of the official record, giving the Horuset Powerbase a unique opportunity to move in to secure and explore the ruin for what it might reveal."
"The administration hub will likely not hold much direct value to the Powerbase, but what it could reveal will be worth more than a Dreadnought. The old cities of Korriban are out there somewhere, waiting to be rediscovered and hubs such as these in the ages gone by were often used to coordinate land across the entire planet. We may find a map of the region, and with it, the knowledge of where the buried cities have lay dormant."
Thus, the objective of the operation is simple. Excavate the ruined Administration Hub and uncover what can be discovered of the Craglands. Resistance is not expected, so ensure that basic excavation equipment is brought to the site.
"To those who see this operation complete, you will be rewarded proportional to your position in the Sith Empire.
An Imperial Soldier, will receive access to a single blaster or Vibroblade upgrade category of their choice alongside receiving a stipend of credits to do with as they wish.
An Acolyte, will receive a singular piece of armour to protect a body part of their choice that they will wear under their robes with my personal and public confirmation that I permit such. The Acolyte must approach me personally to receive such a reward.
Apprentices or Neophytes of the Horuset Powerbase will receive the chance of an audience with myself to be used wisely.
Those who are beyond Apprentices, will receive a reward of their own choosing."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Korriban, the Craglands - Korriban is the homeworld of the Sith Species and the location of Valley of the Dark Lords, where one of the current Sith Academies is hosted. While the Valley of the Dark Lords and it's immediate surroundings are well documented for the energy that has been spent excavating it's secrets, the Craglands has received none of this attention. Dust-storms higher than sight and jutting rocks capable of piercing durasteel have left the Craglands an inhospitable climate, even for Korriban and it's secrets are wholly undocumented. Mapping the region and a full excavation of the site will be needed.

((OOCly: I would recommend Ossus' Jedi temple as the location for this operation! A massive indoor ruin area with several rooms and winding passages gives a grand feeling to what is meant to be a grand building of the ancient sith. This will give the GM plenty of opportunity to pre-write fantastic environmental emotes and the participants a chance to actually explore excavation based RP))

The Administration Hub A building from the ancient Sith, hubs like these have been found scattered across the Valley of the Dark Lord's outskirts and were instrumental in the early re-mapping of the region and gave excavators great insight into where to start digging. Lightly guarded at most, these once proud buildings were used by the ancient Sith to find and map land that was suitable for use, for various purposes. When the old regimes fell and chaos reigned, these buildings were abandoned and Korriban began to be dotted with tombs instead of cities.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives.

Primary Objective I: Excavate the Administration Hub, using what means are necessary.

Primary Objective II: Find a map of the Craglands that shows the ancient sprawl of the region.

Time Frame: The team will have 28 days before the IRS agents will be forced to formally document the existence of the Hub, and an IRS division will overtake the ruin for themselves.
((The 11th of April will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a member of the Sith Preserver branch must be present or advise the participants, alongside four others for a total party size of five to complete the objectives of this mission.

((Five means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at five people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than five. Please find a GM from within this number.))

Expedition Team:
  • Lord Iezkon
  • Sith Sarias
  • Apprentice Luvane
  • Apprentice Occularis
  • Apprentice Rekhen

Mission Objectives:
  • Excavate the Administration Hub, using what means are necessary.
  • Find a map of the Craglands that shows the ancient sprawl of the region.

Mission Progression:

Apprentice Luvane reporting master, upon initial landing we were warned we only had a few hours before the surface storms became too severe for extraction, so we only had a limited time frame, which is a true shame master as the section of the ancient city we searched was a marvel of the ancient techniques of our ancestors. Once identifying the main steps to ascend to the city entrance we were met with a balcony adorned with four statues of ancient Sith (Species not Order).

The four statues depicted what I interpret to be the cities founders. Zusrai Chijso, father of founding, Cena Oruxu, mother of shaping, Mojlush Lazu, brother of forges, Rhesua Vaqriu, sister of study, these are clearly important figures within the history of this place. Before we made our way into the city gates I made sure to sacrifice a slave to the gods Marserha Jochor and Typhojem, to properly venerate them for what must have been the first time in that city for centuries, once the blood rite was finished we proceeded.

Once inside we found a large open chamber with a large statue in the middle, the room remarkably well intact but sadly the statue of the head and fallen from the statue due to disrepair, after looking through this room we made our way into an adjacent chamber, it had three kneeling statues with ash filled braziers before them, it was at this chamber where myself and Apprentice Occularis had split off from Lord Iezkon and Apprentice Rekhen, to cover more ground faster.

After walking down a long and grand hallway we found a large tablet carved into the wall, enscribed in Sith it detailed the inner workings of the administration of the city in its day-to-day, authored by the Head Administrator of its time called Sazar Chijso, I believe a descendent of the Father of Founding, leading me to believe that the four names mentioned on the balcony statues were also the names of the four Sith Houses that reigned over the city.

Travelling further down the passageway we came across a second hallway this one having two large tablets on its walls, one detailing supply records (at least what was undamaged) was measured in deliveries arriving at specific times (sunset and sunrise). It did allude to major roads being used, hinting that the city was in travel distance from the hub. At the bottom, there were mentions of supplies from the city had been raided as of late, leaving their supplies delayed (I speculate this may have been the start of the Republic invasion of the Ancient Empire.

The second tablet held fairly small incident reports, upper section of it eroded away. Stuff like misplacing tablets, or people causing a hefty debate. Notably, there was mentions of a "Ziureti"(watcher in common sith) that often caused furniture damage and stole a "second key" to play with.

A bit further down the hallway a quite eroded, fragile and snapped-in-half massassi lanvarok, was found under some claw marks from a large creature. Nearby, sandpiles could be found. Apprentice Occularis found the bones of the ancient Tu'kata (larger than compared to those known to today).

We had found a large door leading to a chamber, unable to open it and not willing to damage the structure more than time had already done to it, I found another entrance I speculate to have been used by the Tu'kata that guarded these halls and we used it to gain entry, What we found inside was what I believe to have been a storage chamber, possibly for supplies with a well (possibly, not confirmed) in its center.

With not much being in this room we moved into the next chamber which was and I mean this master, you must behold the sight with your own eyes, a large forum or meeting hall, seating fit for hundreds arranged in a circle around a large statue in the center, I believe this to be the center of administration (Administration Hall) where the daily running of the city was discussed and consensus was reached, we had succeeded in clearing the path from the landing zone to this chamber for ease of access for the entire Hall of Administration, this is the end of my report.

Lord Iezkon's Input:

"Apprentice Luvane Vipion has given a fair and detailed overview of the mission. Regardless, I shall add the progress that myself and Apprentice Rekhen did."

"Next, upon entering the first room, perhaps a foyer of some kind, there was a large statue in the middle. However, the head of the statue was laying shattered on the ground. With some quick work, I discovered that it was a statue dedicated to a female Pureblood."

"When the four of us split into two groups of two, myself and Apprentice Rekhen found a flight of stairs to the left side of the joining room of the foyer while Apprentice Luvane and Apprentice Occularis took the right path. The stairs I took led to a room that was labelled as the Hall of Houses. Inside were shelves around the room, each holding a few stone tablets that was engraved with names referring to the four named Sith: Zusrai Chijso, father of founding; Cena Oruxu, mother of shaping; Rhesua Vaqriu, sister of study; and Mojlush Lazu, brother of forges. There were broken tablets on the ground but the remaining intact stone tablets had names of these Sith, acting as a family tree for each of the four branches."

"Next, I found a room further into the Hall of Houses. The door had to be opened with two specific stone circular items. There were words engraved above two circular slots on the door: House of Father and House of Mother. Noting that this was in reference to Zusrai Chijso and Cena Oruxu, myself and Apprentice Rekhen moved to locate the shelves that were dedicated to the mentioned two and discovered the circular keys. Once obtained, I placed the keys into the appropriate key holes and the door opened to reveal a small room."

"After investigation, we learned that the room belonged to Head Administrator at the time, Sazar Chijso, descendant of Zusrai Chijso. The evidence to support this was a few remaining intact stone tablets that I found on a shelve near a bed. Apprentice Rekhen found a cylinder that held a half circular disk, which I immediately concluded to be part of the map that we needed to obtain for this mission. Something worth mentioning is that as I read Sazar's day-to-day writings on the tablets, he held growing concerns for the city to be in danger. Therefore it was clear danger was fast approaching on this site and it would be wise to investigate at an appropriate time."

"After the discovery of half of the map, myself and Apprentice Rekhen rejoined Apprentice Luvane and Apprentice Occularis. Apprentice Occularis and Apprentice Rekhen went on a hunt to find the missing half disk to match the one I had in my possession, and we were able to piece them together with ease."

"As a added note, all of the Apprentices performed well in this mission."

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
