Public Call for Operation Team Assembly
Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:
"After the Great Hyperspace War, the remnants of the Old Sith Empire were forged anew into what would become the basis of the Sith Empire that today we all reside within. The defeat that was suffered at the hands of the Jedi and it's Republic ilk saw the true successor to the Old Sith Empire rebuilding and regrowing until our resurgence one thousand years later. Entire generations of true Sith passed by, without coming into contact with our most hated foe, the Jedi.
Though while our own Empire rejuvenated itself within the depths of the Stygian Caldera, the Dark Side of the force was far from idle with disrupting the Republic. The Brotherhood of the Sith, a group of fallen Jedi Knights led by the now famous Exar Kun broke away from the Republic and the Jedi, adopted our name and began fighting the Exar Kun War against the Republic with Mandalorian underlings, which the Republic themselves and even some of our contemporises named the year long conflict as the Great Sith War. Following such, the Republic was rocked again some twenty years later by the Mandalorian Wars, which saw the near toppling of the Republic until Jedi intervention across the four year conflict. The most famous conflict of the era however is the Jedi Civil War. Where the Jedi that joined the Republic against the Mandalorians in the prior war, followed their Jedi Generals Revan and Malak into the unknown regions with a third of the Republic fleet and returned with a grand armada and dreams of Empire.
Darth Revan's Sith Empire, was feeble. It's core of Sith was solely fallen Jedi, who were preached to by droid recordings and dark siders who had barely known of it's power for a handful of years at most by the Jedi Civil War's end. It's military was a combination of remnants of Exar Kun's soldiers, the third of the Republic forces that Revan had taken with him into the Unknown Regions and mass produced droids and warships coming from the unknown regions themselves. Revan's False Empire was successful at one matter only, conversion.
Converting not only an entire third of the Republic military to a new doctrine, to a Sith Empire instead of a Galactic Republic, Revan converted hundreds of Jedi to follow in his footsteps. For every soldier and fallen jedi he gained and bolstered his own forces, he deprived the Republic of the same number. By the end of the Jedi Civil War, barely a hundred Jedi remained. By the end of the First Jedi Purge that followed it, the Jedi had gone into hiding and only a dozen re-emerged afterwards.
Explorers tasked to the Horuset Powerbase have uncovered Sith ruins within the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. Ruins that date back to the period of the Jedi Civil War and the First Jedi Purge. While the Explorers were unable to enter the ruins themselves, they were able to get an outer scan and confirmed that the building still had power.
Your objective is simple. Get into the ruins and uncover any secrets that the False Empire used to capture Jedi and then convert them to the dark side of the force.
To those who see this operation complete, you will be rewarded proportional to your position in the Sith Empire.
An Imperial Soldier, will receive access to a single blaster or vibroblade upgrade category of their choice alongside receiving a stipend of credits to do with as they wish.
An Acolyte, will receive a singular piece of armour to protect a body part of their choice that they will wear under their robes with my personal and public confirmation that I permit such. The Acolyte must approach me personally to receive such a reward.
Those who have passed the Acolyte Trials, will receive a reward of their own choosing."
*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*
Location: Uncharted System UG-11
((OOCly: As this is a complete fabrication, any ruins will work fantastic. This could be a cleared Athiss flashpoint, a Korriban tomb, a Yavin SH, the Sith Tomb on Onderon, anything of that sort of style.))
Conversion: Converting a foe to your own side when completed correctly, is a two-fold boon. Depriving the enemy of a soldier while gaining that same soldier yourself displaces the balance of power by twice as much as simply killing an enemy combatant or gaining a new soldier yourself. Being able to convert Jedi or Republic soldiers to see the Sith Empire and the Sith Order as the one true path, would go a long way to countering a Republic offensive in the region.
Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Uncover the knowledge of how Revan's False Empire managed to capture and convert Jedi.
Primary Objective II: Scout the entire facility and catalogue whether it would be a suitable staging ground if repaired for other activities in the unknown regions.
Secondary Objective I: Name the system and the planet itself.
Time Frame: The team will have 21 days to complete the operation.
((The 28th of March will be the deadline!))
Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of four will be necessary to complete the objectives of this mission.
((Four means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at four people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than four. Please find a GM from within this number.))
GM please get in contact with me OOC so I can go over some of the more intricate details of the Operation with yourself!

We congregated at the shuttle pads of the Horuset Estate, the assembled party consisting of:- [font=Courier New]Sith Tarimra (myself, leading the Operation)
- [font=Courier New]Apprentice Wradaii Sutta’Qo
- [font=Courier New]Acolyte Nyâsh Hâsk
- [font=Courier New]Acolyte Eusebius Inrokini
[font=Courier New]We arrived at the ruins, which emitted… Nothing. No signature, no Presence, as if the ruins did not exist within the Force at all. Within the ruins, which appeared to be running on backup power, were many corpses of Sith Troopers and powered-down ancient sentinel-droids employed by Revan’s false Empire.
The droids, it should be noted, appeared fully functional, and should lack any reason for that they were disabled. The Sith Troopers, on the other hand, were decayed, but not to such a degree that the cause of death could not be found: blaster-fire and vibroswords.
The grand room where we eventually ended up was… Quite large, and dark. At one end was a depowered console with a single, pulsing green button; at the other were two staircases, leading up. We ventured up there to restore the power - but we came across an ancient, powerless datapad. Activating it, the following audio came from it, alongside a video of the death of a Sith Trooper. The audio was garbled and filled with static; this is the transcript:
“Lost contact...Lost contact... [Static] Revan. No ships... [static] Evacuation. Running low on supplies. The Extraction... [Static] Shut down the power. Killed... [Static] What's the point?”
Proceeding through a hallway, we encountered a large door with a ruined control panel on the side. It could not be activated, so we made our way through the door by force, ending in yet another room. It should be noted that (except in front of the room) throughout the entire ruin the sentinel droids were in pristine condition. In front of the door to this room, they were heavily damaged.
The room held at the end a holoterminal, and seven Sith Troopers clad in red armour. One lay dead across the terminal proper; all were wielding heavy repeating blasters and ornate vibroblades, which were unfortunately destroyed later on.
The holoterminal displayed the image of a commander of the Sith Troopers - the same that had laid dead across it. The transcript was the following:
“After we lost contact with Revan, and supplies began to run low. The Sith commanders took the last of the starships, abandoning us here. The garrison went on for a short while but when it became clear that no one was returning for us. The men broke rank and demanded that the communications array be used to send a distress signal. We could of course not allow the facility to fall into enemy hands and an insurrection began. They somehow managed to gain control of the droids and our only option was to shut down the power and seal the door. That way no one will send any transmissions. We're out of rations, but each of my men will die before surrendering this facility."
Activating the power, the generators came online, restoring power to the facility. We moved back to the original console, from which we extracted a file named ‘Extraction’, detailing that the Sith Commandos, which were strictly non-Force-users, were trained to use equipment like smoke bombs and flashbangs to disorient the Jedi; they were also trained in advanced martial arts to take them down. The standard tactic was to separate Jedi from their padawans, loved ones, or units, using them as bait to lure Jedi into compromising positions.
The next file on the terminal was called ‘Conversion’, though this required a password, which we did not have. Upon an attempt to overpower it through Electronic Manipulation, a massive droid (similar to modern models of battle droids, although I am unable to determine the exact type) entered and attacked. We engaged the construct in battle, eventually vanquishing it.
We have left the automaton (albeit lacking its turret-head, this was destroyed during the combat) for the Kalkoran slicer- and engineering-teams; the same goes for the console nearby, which still holds the ‘Conversion’-file behind a password. The ruin itself is cleared out and should serve well as a staging ground: the large room in the centre of the facility especially would serve this purpose.
As per a suggestion made by Apprentice Sutta’Qo on the flight back to the Estate, I have decided to name the system and the planet ‘Kian Yunoks’, meaning ‘too little’ in Common Sith.
I hope this has proved insightful, my Lord Kalkoran.
Signed,
Sith Tarimra,
Assistant-Lorekeeper,
Head of the Forging Initiative

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
