Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"The world of Athiss has since the Cold War had it's quarantine lifted, with Sith no longer forbidden by law to step foot on the planet's surface. Many teams have since trodden it's grounds, walked through the ruined temples, tombs and cities that dotted it's surface from the bygone era when there were Kissai, Massassi and Zuguruk who walked our worlds and many of the world's artifacts have begun making their way back to the capital.
Of note, the catacombs of a temple to a god of the Sith Pantheon, Slythmnr, have been found and have been sealed shut by forces currently unknown. Local weather anomalies ensured the once local research team were forced back to their shuttle, content to head off world with their treasures from other nearby ruins. With Slythmnr being known as the god of wealth in the old Sith Pantheon, the treasures within one of his temple's catacombs could be of great value monetary value.
Catacombs to the temple of Slythmnr often are centred around a room that has a banquet table laid out and statues of the dead sat in chairs with the god of wealth himself at the head of the table and the god Typhojem at the other end of the table in a representation of Slythmnr's final feast. If such a room exists, the recovery of an amulet of Slythmnr would be of great cultural importance to those who follow the old ways.
The objective of the operation is clear. Take a group from the Horuset Powerbase and open up the catacombs of Slythmnr and bring back the key treasures within so they may be safeguarded by those who know their true value.
To  those who see this operation complete, you will be rewarded proportional to your position in the Sith Empire.
An Imperial Soldier, will receive access to a single blaster or Vibroblade upgrade category of their choice or a portion of the value of the recovered artifacts and treasures.
An Acolyte, will receive a singular piece of armour to protect a body part of their choice that they will wear under their robes with my personal and public confirmation that I permit such.
Those who have passed the Acolyte Trials, will receive a portion of the value of the recovered artifacts and treasures."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Athiss - A world of the old Sith Empire, dotted with ruins and overgrown tombs.

((OOCly: Korriban tombs can work well for Athiss, but if it was wanted the group could decide to use the Athiss flashpoint provided the mobs were cleared first and the correct crew skills were used to open up certain parts of the FS)

Athiss: Athiss is a dry, rocky world comparable to what Korriban once was. Grass, flora and fauna all dot the surface of Athiss and the ruins have long since begun to be reclaimed by the planet itself. Once a cultural centre for the old Sith Empire, whether the planet fell into a decline similiar to Korriban or was abandoned for an unknown reason has puzzled many an archaeologist for as long as the planet has been refound. During the Cold War, a team of Republic excavator's snuck past the old Sith Emperor's mandate and landed on the surface, disturbing the world for the first time in centuries. While the Republic excavators are no longer an issue, the breaking of the mandate and the none response from the old Emperor has brought teams from the Sith Empire to excavate the surface of the ruined world.

Slythmnr: The god of wealth is considered the youngest of the Pureblooded Pantheon, an upstart ruler among the Sith who supposedly controlled large swathes of Korriban at one point and eventually ascended to such great influence that he was able to invite Typhojem to a feast and tourney he was hosting in his honour. While the left handed god attended this occasion, Slythmnr’s troupe of assassins stole into the realm of the god of sorcery and brought their master back an unusual golden amulet. When one assassin asked what the amulet did, the king merely donned the amulet and disappeared without a trace. Slythmnr’s empire fell apart in a matter of weeks, returning back to its previous state of warring tribes and warlords. A few months after this an odd cult appeared dressed in robes of spun gold and possessing of treasures imaginable by no mortal, bearing the glory of their new god. Slythmnr’s temples are rarely on Korriban itself, largely being hosted instead on other Sith holy worlds that have more beautiful vistas. For the clergy, the days in which they were showered in tithes have faded and they now cling to the tattered remains of their past wealth. The standard way to worship Slythmr is by offering items of great value- monetary and not sentimental- to the god. These items are often stored in the reliquaries of his temples, leaving an enticing plunder target for pirates or the like.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.

Primary Objective I: Remove the blockages that stop the Powerbase from entering the catacombs.

Primary Objective II: Call in the orbital reinforcements who can setup a guarded perimeter of the catacombs and begin the true excavation once the site is confirmed to be clear.

Secondary Objective I: Recovery an amulet of Slythmnr.

Time Frame: The team will have 21 days to complete the excavation before another Powerbase capitalises on the find.
((The 9th of November will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of three to four will be necessary to complete the objectives of this mission.

((Three means start planning when to set a date for the Operation at three people with a hard cap of absolutely no more than four. Please find a GM from within this number.))

Mission report

"The team assembled with myself, Sith Saltaeon, at the head. Apprentive Valeus took the rear guard and was to secure the entrance for Imperial occupation. Apprentice Luvane and Acolyte Zitharis were at my side when we moved in. The front entrance was blocked by rubble, I found a particularly large piece of rock and broke my way through, opening a narrow gap to squeeze through. The first room was filled pieces of gold and silver and art, as well as a sleeping Tuk'ata. I slowly approached and ignited both sabers underneath the beasts neck while Apprentice Luvane cut down from the side with a vibrosword. In a last attempt before death the Tuk'ata lashed out, catching myself in the leg. The next room was more treasure, but nothing of note. The following chamber had a door open and blind K'lor'slugs entered. They did see us initially allowing myself to leap into the middle of their patch and cut through them. The Apprentice and Acolyte quickly joined and took out the stragglers. The final chamber featured a banquet scene with statues, one representing each major figure in the Pantheon. I sent Zitharis to invesitgate, the statues turned out to be of no threat. We recovered a Shiikar and Sith Amulet from the final chamber before making our leave to allow the IRS to take over the temple. We returned without issue and the only injury being a cut to my leg.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
