Zikarn Ignia would appear behind a desk, his hood down as he sits there in his normal black attire. His right hand rested lazily on the desk as his right index finger continually tapped it. He briefly looked away with his left arm resting on the armrest of the chair. Leaned back he looked back into the Holorecorder
"I assume I should start with the beginning really. The times of being an acolyte. A small smirk appeared in his lips, followed briefly by a small huff as he reminisced "The acolyte days. Seems so far away now."
"The trials, and the time as an acolyte brought some good things with it, however. Not only did I grow, become stronger. I found myself suddenly in the presence of another Pureblood of whom I have come to consider a friend. The Monhura that I never had." He huffed slightly again. "Apprentice Sotazar. The big bastard. I hope that he will succeed where others have failed. Though I have a feeling that he will come far. The man is a beast."
His lips turned upwards, clearly finding it amusing "To have thought I would have come to the place where I’m sitting and talking to a holoprojector about my thoughts... But there are others that I have started to grow close to. That I trust.. Trust as a Sith does that is. Apprentice Valeus. An apprentice of whom I have worked alongside ever since I was an acolyte. The man might not seem like one of the stronger Apprentices due to his rather... Scrawny build. Though I know different. The man is wielding power that I have a feeling would make some of the Household Sith have a run for their money so to say. And then there is the pain in the ass. Apprentice Zotam. The former slave. Yet, his constant pestering has someone grown on me. And I find myself lacking the nagging behind my ear when he is not present."
Zikarn looks briefly to his side before looking back, his lips falling back to neutral once more "But enough. The greatest thing that has happened is that I became an apprentice. And not just that. I became an apprentice to the strongest being in the Powerbase, Darth Horuset."
He looked at the Holo, a clear view of pride befalling him as he smirks "Apprentice Ignia, Apprentice to Darth Horuset. In my opinion, it is kinda amusing that I found out that my Master's former name was Lord Saud. Fire..."
He rises a bit from his chair, sitting straight as his hands are folded in front of him as they rest on the table in front of him.
"Since my ascension, I have experienced so many things for the first time. War, Jedi, Diplomacy, Pirates. The list goes on. And I can thank myself for my constant growth, since my Master barely trains us. She wants us to be independent. Something I had a hard time with at the beginning. But something I have now come to realise that was necessary to see me grow. To see me become what she wants me to become."
His right-hand points up to his jewellery.
"I am a man now as well. My Master led the ceremony to see me now enter adulthood. Lord Kalkoran accepted my invitation as well. Almost all did. Except for Lord Iezkon. However, the filth of a pureblood, Mayaz, attended. Sith Arvanis brought her. Either to spite me or to start a process of mending between us."
His eyes narrowed slightly, his voice changing instantly. Anger now clearly present in his tone
"I will not relent before I have seen the disgrace removed from my Master's Powerbase. Her only interest is in aliens. Mingling with them. The disgrace. That she still roams the halls of my Master is a joke in itself. Always protected.”
He shakes his head briefly, calming down. "But enough of that. I am working alongside an alien myself now. Something I had not seen myself do before. However, even despite the rumours and her reputation, I have mostly come to terms and say that when she is not inside the Powerbase when I have her alone, she is smarter then people give her credit for. And far more competent than many others. Possibly the most competent alien I know currently. Though, that list is short and I never expect competence from aliens...
A small laugh comes from him as he looks straight into the holoprojector
"To even hear myself say the words make me shiver. But she is strong. And I can learn from her. However tragi-comic it is."
Looked briefly to his right, looking at his window before turning his head back towards the holo
"I believe this suffice for now. Perhaps I will return to this. Perhaps not. But I have given it a try now. And strangely enough, it has been satisfying.
The Holo would flicker off.

The projection would flicker to life. The image of the now scarred apprentice came into view as he stood tall and stoic. His default position one might say. His head moving from left to right. His long black hair moving with it, as he looks around him. He was standing outside. Somewhere that couldnt be told from the holo itself. Wearing his armor, it seemed as if he was ready for a fight
"I suppose it is time once again for this. I found it rather comforting to speak without judgement last time. Without the scrutiny from the incompetence that I am surronded by. By the ignorance... Alot have happened since I used this.. I am no longer apprentice to the Dark Lord. While she did give me an honrable discharge, it was never the right match.. I suppose I lack a specific last name to be that.."
Would take a deep breath, onlyto exhale before he continued
"Last name... While I werent a Neophyte for long due to Sith Narazri taking the chance to take a strong apprentice and strengthen his powerbase, I have a unfulfilled hatred. I was once such a loyal believer that the name of Horuset meant greatness. That it meant that Tradition came first...How wrong I was.. I now know that that the only thing that it posses is hypocricy and a extreme amount of fear for admitting failure.. The Dark Lord..Valeus.. Cadeus.. Vanity will be their fall. Their own ignorance and belief that they are the smartest people in the galaxy will see them fall under the gaze of someone close that have the respect of all."
He looks around again.
"Sith Narazri being the only Horuset I have just the slighest of belief in. And even that is failing. His affection to speak and spend time with his glory apprentice is seeing his enemies truth come to frutition. Everything they have planned, that I have informed him of, he will give them freely for not seeing that his own plans are faulty..."
He moves his right hand to his lightsaber
"Zotam seemed to be the first one realising this. Distancing himself further from Sith Narazris powerbase. I, will be the second."
He took his hilt in hand and inspected it
"Traditionalism. Purism. Progressiveness. All things that everyone, including myself, jumps to as excuses or accusations.. Yet, there is only one form of Traditionalism that matters in this Powerbase. That of the Dark Lords. And not a single person withing the powerbase, knows how she defines it. Instead, she decided to give the Envoy of Tradition free reign to molest the word Tradition. Once again showing you just need the right last name.."
Would sigh as he placed the hilt back on his belt
"Perhaps that is why I have fallen so far from what I once was. A once so stoic believer in Tradition. Now, it has become a hollow shell that I use for the benefit for myself. Perhaps that is why I have started forming my own Powerbase. My own seat of power if one would. With Sith that I have a measure of control over or can directly obliterate should I wish to.."
He looks to his left, removing his glove from his left hand
"Power. It is what this powerbase is all about. But people are busy trying to be political. Amazingly enough, Sith Narazri seems to be the only one truely capable of it. For whatever little duration it keeps him in power.. Myself and Zotam seems to be walking our own paths now afterall. Leaving him with only his prized apprentice left. Wonder if the sight of a pureblood and a human sith-blood will only encourage Sith Arvanis to rethink his old plans. Perhaps, they will actually work this time."
"Atleast there seems to be upcoming Sith that have an ounce of greatness in them. Naile Valzino. Temekel Vipion. Korditis Sotazar. The last one being the closest thing I have to family left in this galaxy. And when the time comes, when we both have ascended, we will become what Lord Kalkoran and Lord Sanguinis once was. "
He moves his left hand up. Slightly burned as he inspects it
"For now. I have become leaderless. Doing everything in my own volition. At my own pace. And at my own will. To a degree atleast. For while the Dark Lord beleive I am apparently dense, I have only this to say. She is the one who is dense. Afraid of herself and her own mistakes. Beleiving she knows all when she knows nothing. I will take my time. I will ascend. And my plans will come to fruition. Removing her ever loyal supporters."
A feint smile came into light
"Despite that, Lord Kalkoran is seemingly ahead of me.. Wonder for how long we have a Darth Horuset.. For she is loosing her ground. And he is gaining. His most loyal appprentice a Lord now. Having taking a Horuset as apprentice which will give him info. The day will come where we will swear our loyalty to Lord Kalkoran. And I wonder what that will bring..."
He waved his left hand, and the projection would go out.

Zikarn Ignia would be sitting at his desk at Azeria Castle. His armour replaced by robes.
"Tradition is dead. Long live Tradition."
Those are the first and only words coming from Zikarn Ignia for a moment lasting what could seem like a minute or more
"Tradition is no more. Or, atleast, it is no longer anything but an idea and no longer an ideology grasped by that of the few. Its no longer what drives the Sith. And what power we will lose in such."
His eyes narrowed, looking away for a moment before looking abck into the holo
"I always thought I would become a pillar of Tradition. A pillar that would defend tradition in the Empire. To fight not only -for- the Empire, but for Tradition aswell. And what it symbolises in terms of the Sith. We have grown complacent. Or many have atleast. Business deals have taking over. Protecting apprentices have taken over. And, greatest of all, becoming friends with one another is what drives the Sith now...Or.. What I should call them."
He clenches his right hand
"Friends. Allies. Apprentices. What used to be tools, to be things and assests have now beocme a founding part of people. Emotions are what drives them. As they should. But those negative emotions that we once used, that we once relished in, have dissipated. Love. Apathy. Compassion. Those are the feelings that have filled the powerbase of Horuset. Where we once accepted challenges, we now cower behind our Masters. Where we once hunted down and -educated- those breaking Tradtion, we now accept them as they are. Letting them roam free. And even encourage that we let them be and do as they please.."
His left fist clenches now, as Zikarn Ignias voice turns sour and harsh, clearly being furious
"No. I wont accept this. If this is what the oh so great beacon of Tradition is turning into, I will rather see the entire powerbase destroyed from within then ever let the powerbase survive. The Dark Lord have become blind to the indifference from Sith ARvanis as Envoy of Tradition. Lord Kalkoran would rather have his apprentices lie publicly and never accept a challenge because of personal beleives of another person. Lord Iezkon having children with aliens... This entire powerbase have become a joke....
Would rise from his seated position, moving over towards a window, hands folded behind the lower of his back
"Hozan, the dog. Ha. To think someone as great as Lord Kalkoran want someone that cant even figure out who he is. Being apprentice to him first. Then act like Teran Mal. Even dressing as Teran Mal. Then leave with Teran Mal. Then come back alone. Then become like Valeus. Act like Valeus. Become Lord Kalkorans apprentice again. Then try and act like Lord Kalkoran. The peasent is so confused that I doubt even his mother knows who he is anymore should she ever see him. Perhaps I should pay her a visit and see what she have to say.."
"What shall I do... What is my next move.. Purebloods refusing to act in the name of Tradition. Passiveness infesting the powerbase... I need to do something.. But what.."
At that, he reaches out with his left arm, shutting of the holo.

The surroundings from Zikarn’s previous recordings had changed. The desk was new, the windows showed they were back on Dromund Kass and they were high above the ground. A small golden statue depicting the same symbol that hangs around Zikarn Ignia’s neck. He was home at last:
"Gods... It has been a long time since I did this. Things happened and transpired. I regained my ancestral home. It required some rebuilding and repairs.. but it's mine at last..."
Zikarn leaned back into his chair. Arms on the armrest as his started tapping in sync with his fingers:
"Alliances. Agreements... I have come to understand a crucial thing. Betray those around you before they betray you. Those that I knew I could hold at least some amount of trust in have all either vanished or retreated into themselves and their own business. Even my Monhura. My brother whom I had such high hopes for is somewhere dealing with his things. And when he ain't, he deals with his function as overseer..."
A deep sigh comes from Zikarn as his right-hand moves up over to cover his face. Sudden laughter breaks out as he starts smiling:
"Perfection."
His laughs continue for a moment:
"To think the time would ever come when I would consider that damn Echani as more Sith than many others... Even he knows not to hide behind others... To not threaten other Sith with "I will come for you with all my allies…"
He leans fully back now into his chair:
"To think that the days would come that I can with full confidense say that I miss the days of myself, Korditis and Elias roaming around creating havoc. Those were the days. With Kelsa constantly at our, mostly mine and Korditis i reckon, throats to shape us into better Sith.."
He looks startled for but a moment:
"I really just said that. Wow.. Sith Kelsa.. Seems that I should perhaps give him a little more respect in the end. Hmm. Interesting."
He leans forwards, staring directly into the recorder, his eyes narrowed, teeth bared while a faint smile was present:
"Temekel, Temekel, Temekel.. She is everything I knew she was. Her sweet and friendly demeanour is fake. Created to lure in those weak enough to let themselves be seduced by the promise of friendship and alliances... All of them now nothing but cattle, ready to be sent straight to the butcher when she is done with them..."
He looks up to his left, someone placing a bunch of papers while speaking something that couldn't be interpreted. Zikarn takes them as he places them in a drawer. Looking back at the holo-recording:
"Her ascending... I wonder if she even feels just a little bit embarrassed. After all, one of her first direct talks about ascension was her praising herself. Saying that she and only she could ascend directly to lordship. And that she would... Gods, I thought I had seen the peak of arrogance with Sith Kelsa. Seems I stand corrected...
He leans back, recalling something that made him seemingly laugh a little:
"Ha, even protecting acolytes bearing her name. Nepotism at its finest... Seems that our new goal of acolytes is to treat them fair. And be gentle to them. Perhaps I should find one and gentle caress their hair and give them a clap on the shoulder and see how it fe..."
Zikarn breaks out laughing once more:
"Like that will ever happen... Oh well. Time changes. People ascend. Alliances are made and broken. And as it stands, even House Kalkoran is a target. I wonder how long before Vipions become the dominant one over Kalkoran? Hmmm I wonder. Well, none of my business anyway."
He looks around once more, placing his right hand on the table as he starts tapping it:
"But there is also other news. Hozan, the dog, seems to have become more tolerable with the time passing. He atleast doesn't disturb my work like other moronic, intolerable pesticides that roams the halls of the powerbase... Speaking of moronic, intolerable pesticides... The mongrel known as Madros has taken my place as assistant due to me having to leave for some weeks... I'm surprised he ever got that far. His intelligence is... Questionable. So Questionable that I from time to time think that the red...noise-clicking....bug...whatever thing has more intelligence than him.."
Zikarn sighs... If it were by the mention of the red alien thingy... or the other red alien thingy... or simply both were not known:
"They will all fall in the end. By either my blade or someone else's. Caring much about whether I do not."
He leans back forwards:
"But with how things are forming out, I couldn't be more pleased. Chaos everywhere. The lines have been drawn. Now, it's merely a matter of time to see who will falter. Those who abide by the code and are not afraid of a duel. Or those that follow the code and believe there are alternatives to duels. "
The recording stops abruptly.

The holo-com would flicker itself to life. Zikarn Ignias form being shown sitting behind a desk. His elbows resting on it as his hands, folded, held in headheight. His forehead resting on them as the eerie silence settles in. No words spoken for several minutes. His eyes suddenly move and stare straight into the holocom
"I am surronded by idiotic mongrels that do not understand the very principles of serving yourself first... Loyalty.. They all hide behind it. Sheeps are what I call them. Everyone claims they serve the powerbase. And their masters. And, truth be told, they all do. Not one apprentice remains that thinks for themselves. Everyone the dosile mongrel that simply follows orders.."
Zikarn Ignias hands smash down onto the table, papers lifting from their stacked placement. Rising in the process, Zikarn moved back behind the chair, looking outside the windows from his estate
"I will continue my service to Lord Saltaeon. To Lord Kalkoran. And the Dark Lord. As everyone. But there is a difference. I serve myself first and foremost. That the rest wants to remain chained to a master, to remain in their state of imcompetence.. such will be their choice. To think the day arived where we no longer can fight our own battles. That we are -needing- allies to fight our fights for us. That we no longer respect the sacred rites of dueling. As they have been done for ages past...."
The silence fills the room once more. Zikarn Ignia remaining speechless for several ongoing minutes
"Sith Mitina returned. As useless as always. She wants Raider title and yet the first thing she does after having been ordered to be an assistant is not asking for missions, to show initiative... No.. Its to stir trouble in the blademaster office which she holds no business with... "
A loud audible sigh was heard from him as he continued
"And I serve Sith Zynn as she is the Raider.... I now serve as her damn oversight.. Being her babysitter..."
He turns around. Staring right at the holocom once more.
"Sith Kelsa sees me as a tool to be used. Stirring trouble everywhere he goes. Constantly spurting out lies that -I- am the threat and not him. And he is right in his words..."
He smiles gently.
"But he made me assistant-raider. And I also know why. He needs me under control. A control he will -never- get. For he will only live to see the day I take his position from him. To see his house in ruins. And all that he once held dear, belong to House Ignia. For I will prevail. I will devour. And I will take everything with the power I have earned.. I will take -everything-.. And I will have my vengeance. In this life. Not the next.
Zikarn Ignia's hand rose from behind his shoulder. A swift motion was made before it was turned of.

The holo diary would once more turn on. The always orderly office of Zikarn Ignia, looking like a mess. Papers unorganised, his hair let down and not brushed as usual. He stood with his back towards the holo. The silence filling the room.
"You dare.... You kriffing dare, Kelsa...."
His voice was low, filled with anger and sorrow. Almost like a whisper, only just audible as he remained still. His eyes focused out of his window. Only the reflection coming from the occasional lightning revealing Zikarns face. His normal exprression of neutrality was exchanged with that of utterly pure hatred.
"You dare die on me... You kriffing dare leave me alone with these incompetent mongrols.... These....Wannabe Sith..."
Zikarn turned around with extreme speed, almost running straight to his office as he with full force hits his right hand down onto the table. His breathing heavy. His eyes narrowed and bloodshot.
"I hate you.... You hear me, Kelsa? I HATE YOU!"
His last sentence shouted out with full force as his right hand swooped everything from his desk. Both hands now firmly placed on the table.
"You left me.. Who else am I going to strive towards.... Who else is even worthy of my respect.. WHO, KELSA! WHO!"
He once again shouted before he suddenly fell down into his chair. His hands moving up to cover his face. Elbows leaned on the table now. His voice getting more and more angry by the second.
"You were my goal... But just as Sanguinis... You leave me... To have noone to strive for... To save my ass and others... Again.."
His voice was getting hoarse now, Zikarns voice falling down into a whisper once more.
"Your legacy will live on. And I will ensure that those responsible will pay for it. I swear this to you Kelsa, I will surpass you. I will become better. No matter what. I swear.."
He waves two fingers as the holo-device shut of.

The apprentice would sit at his desk. His right arms elbow resting on the table as his face were resting on his hand.. His eyes staring at theholo as they were wide open... His facial expression sour. He sat there for several minutes just staring into the holo. Until he suddenly moved. Leaning back into his chair, a loud audible sigh escaped him.
"So.. The -one- person I did not want to return.... RETURNED!"
An audible laugh was heard and seen from him. His arms moving upwards over his head before he hit back on the table infront of him with a thumb.
"Runil Arvanis.... Runil...Fucking...Arvanis.. Our Dark Lords favourite. The cousin of Sith Natisji...And HUSBAND of Sith Zynn.... Ugh"
His face turned leftwards, looking at someone clearly as he spoke out:
"Carefull with that! It cost more then the entirety of you legacy could save up!"
His face turned back to the holo. Looking at it for mere moments before his head slammed into hte desk. Forehead first. Not hard enough to injure, but hard enough to make a statement to himself...As he he just rested his head there, his voice would go hoarse and it was rather clear that he was humoured but pissed..
"So, everything was going well. Kelsa's legacy was being secured best I can. Me trying to become better then him so far having its obstacles.. but..I was getting closer and closer.. Long way from him still however. But.. Closer. And then the actual -only- freaking person that can ruin everything returns to from his deployment.."
He lifts his head staring into the holo:
"Either its all one big freaking conspiracy.. Or my luck is just that dumb.."
He raises his head, looking upwards:
"Although, luck have never been my strong suit ofcourse... Hmmm."
He looks back at the holo once more..
"I dont even know what to say at this point....Freaking...Runil....Arvanis.. I need to do something..."
At that, two fingers was waved simultaniously as he rose from his seat, moving out of the picture.

War in the Northern Territories
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
|
"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."
((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
