The Acolyte Competition

#1
Apprentice Annabelle has started an Acolyte Competition. There will be a few rounds in this competition to test acolytes in all fields, from writing decent reports to training their fighting and Force abilities. Each round will have a certain goal, method and dead line. The rounds will also be evaluated and scored each time, and whichever acolyte has the highest score will win the competition and the final prize. Rules are to not cheat through the rounds, and the acolytes are not allowed to murder each other. If an acolyte has three rounds with zero scores, they are out of the competition and will be marked as a failure. Don't disappoint, acolytes.

(OOC: Please post all reports here in this thread and state your acolyte name at the top of your report and that your acolyte has sent it to Apprentice Annabelle. Also with this competition, you don't have to do every round because as well all know, real life comes first. The competition is sort of like the acolyte trial, so you will scored for all to see, the more you show up the better your chances are, but you don't have to attend every round if you cannot, though I can only encourage you all to attend, and I will announce on the day on Discord or send out PMs to those I have given the tasks too. If you weren't online when a round has been announced, don't worry you won't be punished OOC nor IC, though IC you will be questioned as to why your acolyte was not present. If you have any questions, send me a message on Discord! If there are any issues of not making the deadline, message me as well. If you finish the report before the deadline, say that you finish it tomorrow, go ahead and send it through! Just let me know on Discord that you did so that I can check it. The day of the deadline two things will happen: the hand in of the report and the hand out of the details of Round 2, so if you weren't there for Round 1 and you want to take part, then join in for Round 2! Good luck to you all!)

Leive would send the report with the reference title of the one below with her name at the side of it. Underneath the title it would say round one as a reference to herself maybe.

Report on the ranks of the sith and the authority they hold.

Rank one The Acolyte

Acolyte holds the authority of no one and hold no authority themselves. They are nothing and are treated as such. An acolyte learns from overseers the basics in what it means to be sith. The likes of the code, history, philosophy of the sith, basic saber combat and force techniques. Acolytes partake in trials to prove they have a degree of worth to their betters. The trials are a series of test which test skills to a degree. An Acolyte is restricted to what they can access and learn in terms of forms and in terms of force powers. Only allowed to learn the first form and essential core force powers with the likes of augmentation, force tapas, force sense... Powers that are basic but useful and can be developed.

Trials can be harsh and unkind to the weak as they are to design to do just that. Overall the acolyte is the beginning rank and the holders are not officially sith until passing trials and being chosen by a master. Acolytes are Nothing and are at the bottom of the empire just a sentient awaiting to be molded into sith once chosen. They are stripped of identity and given robes and a blade as indoctrinated into the ways of the sith at a basic level

As for authority, overseers have total control and supremacy over acolytes, as does any other rank above Acolyte. Including Imperials... In theory an Imperial is above an Acolyte because an Acolyte is not sith yet and are considered nothing until proven otherwise.

Rank two - Sith Neophyte

Sith neophyte is officially a sith rank however is a rank between apprentice and acolyte, though an acolyte can not reach it. As far as I have seen the Neophyte rank is given to those when they no longer have a master to serve . The people who have held the rank are to some degree apprentice level of strength and unless they serve a power base they hold no political sway as they have no master to represent, some exceptions to that of course.

Rank three - Apprentice

An Apprentice to some degree holds the authority of their master and serve them. In turn their master teaches them in more depth. Way more than what an overseer would teach an acolyte. It is here where the holder of this rank officially becomes a member of the sith. Apprentices serve their master who provides more individual tutoring over an overseers group teaching. Apprentices serve their master in many ways as I have observed, politically and in the field carrying out the will of their master and not proving their worth to them in return training is given. I have seen some apprentices with their own lightsaber however I am unsure whether they are crafted themselves or given to them from their master when deemed worthy of having one. Some use Vibroswords given to them.

Rank four - Household Sith

The rank of sith is a very important rank within the empire. Though they may not hold the political sway of a Lord or have the assets to support such a politically demanding rank. Through history sith have served as warriors, Inquisitors, assassins, alchemists, battle commanders and naval leaders. Evan fighter pilots to a degree. The rank is important for the empire to function. They may not have the political assets sufficient to influence politics of the sith but are able to change the side of battle. Giving diversity and to a degree leadership to the imperial military if they served as a warrior or commander. Giving that edge in supporting the empire conquering agenda. Giving that edge on the battlefield.

Rank five - Sith Lord

Main political powers in the empire. A Lord instigates in politics and represent the authority within the sith. Sitting below the rank of Darth, a Lord can have powerful political, army and navy assets at their disposal. As far as I have seen sith Lord is a rank that requires an eye for political opportunities and plays to further gain their agenda and the skills of diplomacy and negotiation but also battle prowess to spread their authority across the wider power base.

To have a chance of getting to sith Lord, political skill is required and a sith can not reach the rank without a political footing of their own. A power base and assets of their own. Though the title could be taken from another. It wouldn't be the sith if that was not on the table. History has many examples of sith usurping their masters. Even before our empires time. Darth Revan being forcibly removed from being the dark Lord of the sith of his own empire by Darth Malak, his own apprentice. It has happend even in our own empire. As shown with the dark council which has constantly changed for this very reason. The wanting of power and taking it. Darth baras is also a prime example of this when his apprentice killed him and took his title and place. Aswell as many other Dark council members such as Darth Thanaton.

Rank Six - Darth

A Darth title is the top of the chain, A rank that shows superiority and power in the empire. Origins of the word I can't seem to grasp however this rank holds masses of political sway and influence across the empire. Many Darths have served as military commanders and have changed the tides of battle. As do lords.
The rank of Darth is a top super power in the Empire's political system asserting their will across their powerbases. I have only seen a Darth once seeing as they have the assets to do such they do not need to even attend to menial tasks that are beneath them like giving attention to acolytes. The rank is a demonstration of power and prowess politically and as a sith.

File name: Acolyte Competition - Sith Ranks
Author: Natellia Aneirin
Affiliation: Sith Empire
------------

Introduction:

Apprentice Annabelle has ordered myself and a couple of my consorts to write a report on Sith ranks. The directive is to write down their names, what they do, what their authority is and what their limitations are. I will be writing this report below.
------------

Name: Sith Acolyte (often referred to as simply ‘’Acolyte’’)

Description: The Sith acolyte is the first and lowest rank on the hierarchical ladder of the Sith order. An acolyte is an individual with no prior experience in the Sith ways and who is only just starting their path to becoming Sith. They usually live and study in secluded areas and are very limited in their freedom of movement. Their education consists of the very basic aspects of the Sith way: Philosophy, history, politics, a basic saber form (Shii-Cho) and the basic force powers. In charge of the acolytes’ education are usually specially appointed Sith, who go by the title ‘Overseer’. It is, however, not uncommon for lords (or in House Horuset’s case household Sith) to do lessons and/or give instructions. At the end of their education, Acolytes are to participate in the so-called acolyte trials. If they pass at least three of them, they can be elevated to the rank of Sith, which allows them to be taken by a master.

Authority: As acolytes are the lowest among the Sith, they have no authority of their own. Exceptions may exist, wherein a lord or overseer gives an acolyte a certain assignment that requires them to assume some form of authority. The must refer to any Sith higher in rank than them as ‘my lord’.
------------

Name: Sith Apprentice (often referred to as simply ‘’Apprentice’’)

Description: Once a Lord or a Darth has taken interest in a Sith Acolyte, they may choose to take them under their wing, given that the acolyte has passed three trials (or in House Horuset’s case, completed three trials). After that point, the Acolyte sheds their former title and assumes the mantle of Sith Apprentice. Apprentices have a lot more freedom than Acolytes, though this entirely depends on the master. The education they receive is also completely controlled by the master and does not follow a set curriculum, like Sith Acolytes. Apprentices can pursue the training of more advanced lightsaber forms and force powers. They can also delve deeper into the dark side without being limited by restrictions that acolytes, for example, posses. The length and difficulty of an apprentice’s training depends solely on the master. At the end of their training, it is up to the master if the apprentice will ascend. At any point during their apprenticeship, a master may choose to discard them.

Authority: A Sith apprentice’s authority usually correlates directly with the influence their master posseses. The more influence the master has, the more influence the apprentice has. This also means that the apprentice will have more opportunities to build and expand their powerbase once their training is complete. An apprentice holds authority over acolytes, through seniority, but cannot order them to do things that would go against regular acolyte or Sith directives.
-----------

Name: Sith Lord (often referred to simply as ‘’Lord’’, though may also refer to themselves as ‘’Dark lords of the Sith’’)

Description: Once a Sith apprentice has succesfully completed their training under a master, they are bestowed upon the title of ‘Lord’. Not every apprentice that ascends is named a Sith lord, however.  Sith lords are /the/ authority. They are among the most powerful and most influential individuals within the Sith Order and the Empire. They are everything a sith acolyte should strive to become. It is commonplace for Sith Lords to have a very deep understanding of the dark side of the force. They are also very capable in several lightsaber forms and the most advanced of force techniques. They are usually not limited in the knowledge they are allowed to obtain and have complete freedom of movement. Sith lords are expected to have garnered a good amount of political influence, either from the lord they were apprenticed to or the powerbase they have built or are in the process of building. A Sith lord is free to take an apprentice. When it comes to military campaigns of the empire, Sith Lords may be called upon to lead a contingent of the navy or the army.

Authority: Sith Lord is the highest conventionally attainable rank in the Sith Order and as such has authority over anyone ranked lower than them. They are subordinate only to the leadership of the powerbase they are part of or a Darth. It is, however, not especially uncommon for a Sith lord to be placed in charge of a project wherein a Darth can be their subordinate. An example of this is during the sacking of Coruscant, wherein Lord Adraas was placed in command of the operation and Darth Malgus was his subordinate.
-------------

Name: Darth

Description: A Darth is the be all end all rank of the Sith. Individuals that hold this rank usually answer only to the empress herself. Being given the rank is an extremely rare ocurrence. When it does happen, it is usually because the Sith Lord in question has shown a great mastery of the Dark Side, exceptional leadership skills or grand political influence (among other things). In the hierarchy of the Sith, each new title that one obtains (acolyte, apprentice, lord) represents a significant jump in the Sith’s power. A regular Sith lord could, however, potentially be on par with a darth in terms of power. The chances of this being the case would sensibly be very slim, for if it were, the Sith lord would surely be named Darth himself.

Authority: Being the highest rank in the Order, a Darth holds authority over practically anyone holding the title ‘Sith’. This includes other lords. As stated in the previous section, it is not uncommon for Darths to be subordinates to individuals ranked lower than them in certain powerbases or structures.
------------

Miscellaneous
------------
Name: Sith Overseer

Description: Overseers are in charge of the education of acolytes. They are also in charge of the acolyte trials and determine who passes. Overseer is a job more than it is a rank on its own. It can be given to regular Sith, apprentices and lords (the latter then being referred to as ‘’Lord Overseer).

Authority: When it comes to Acolytes, overseers have complete autonomy in terms of what happens with the acolytes. As overseers are usually appointed by the leadership of an academy or powerbase, they outrank anyone when it comes to the acolytes’ education (even lords and darths). They don’t hold authority of apprentices.

Name: Sith Neophyte (often referred to as simply ‘’Neophyte’’)

Description: It is my understanding that the rank of Neophyte falls between Acolyte and Apprentice, though acolytes aren’t able to attain it. One becomes a Neophyte within House Horuset when the master of an Apprentice dies or when the master abandons them. They are on par with regular apprentices in terms of power and are free to keep studying, though are unable to attain the rank of lord unless a master once again takes them on.

Authority: A Neophyte has the same authority as an apprentice but their influence can be considered lower, given that they don’t have a powerful master at their back.

Name: Household Sith (referred to as ‘’Sith’’)

Description: A household Sith is an apprentice who has completed their training under a master but has refused the title of lord, for whatever reason. In terms of power, they are on par with Sith lords (obviously) and are allowed the same freedoms.

Authority: A household Sith stands above an apprentice but below a Sith Lord. In practice, however, I could see a household Sith holding the same day-to-day authority as a lord.

Sith Acolyte:

Aspirants of the Dark Side, they are colloquially referred to as initiates contending to establish their worth as a Sith. Often these are hopefuls and unforged candidates with varying limits and degrees of knowledge- whether practical or theoretical. This hinges on their lineage and legacy, which may vary from promising applicants from esteemed Houses or decrepit slaves with the fortunes of fate of being a force-sensitive.

As with unmolded clay, these aspirants are tempered through harsh and grueling climates and adversity to develop their untrained competency and mastery of the Force. These acolytes are expected to immerse within the studies of the Sith, dedication to theoretical philosophy, conceptual tactics and understanding the revered Sith Code. Overseers provides ample opportunities for these acolytes to consolidate their development through guidance, yet a promising acolyte should be sufficiently aware that their studies should not be reliant on instructors.

A misconception often arises that Sith Acolyte is a position established as Sith. Despite containing the term ‘Sith’ as a designation, these supplicants are not considered to be Sith nor should they be treated with the same value and respect as one. Expectations are present in respecting authorities, disciplined courtesy and mannerisms towards those who are true Sith. As the lowest rank, acolytes possess no special rights nor privilege and are expected to remain respectfully courteous as to not speak out of turn in the presence of Sith.

Trials remains the primary focus for acolytes, engaging and completing these while surviving promotes their worth- but does not guarantee candidacy for apprenticeship. Death and failure looms over this fragile phase in a Sith’s cycle as it is often referred to as the ‘Culling Period’. Impressing potential masters becomes the fixation of these aspirants, as it is the key to elevating their level of authority to the next rank.

Sith Apprentice:
Adepts of the Dark Side, they are the product of worthy aspirants who assumed their candidacy and position bestowed upon by their master. Graduates of the severe trials, these individuals are marked with the basic necessity of what truly defines a Sith. It is noted that ‘Apprentice’ is not officially a designated title within the Empire, as Imperials and citizens will often refer to them as Sith or other official ranks they may possess and will categorize as such within official documentations and reports outside of powerbases and more legislative administrations within society.

Verily it emphasizes the relation between a mentor and student as opposed to a real title. This is evident in structural hierarchies where an established Sith Lord may even be apprenticed to a revered Darth. Yet the common usage of the term is to designate newly made apprentices that have yet to consolidate themselves as a standard Sith.

Apprentices focuses primarily onto their master’s agendas and expectation, whether to expand on political, financial, governmental or societal influences. This emphasizes on the reality of the responsibility of an apprentice- to be placed under the scrutiny of their master as a representative. The severity lies within the possibility of permanent dismemberment whether physically, mentally, emotional or image-wise. Apprentices must maintain the awareness that their master can relieve them of their position at any given time, it is a subtle ‘encouragement’ to strive to be an excellent representative of their master.

Immersion into the more dominant teachings of the Dark Side becomes a focal point to their development, aiming to become more lethal and proficient in their combat prowess. It is expected of a newly christened apprentice to specialize within a lightsaber form and have advance competency in a Force ability, this allows them to be productive and worthy members of the Sith should the Empire rally against a common threat. Acquiring a lightsaber, forging one and advanced mastery in utilizing it is within the repertoire to become an accomplished, an expectation placed upon new apprentices.

The authority an Apprentice possess is elevated since their initiation. Non-Sith such as the previously discussed Sith Acolyte and Imperials will refer to them with respect and courtesy. Their rights and privilege are dependent on their own position and their master’s influence, some possesses far reaching political influences or have established their own power enough to subjugate those of lesser rank- even more daring and impressive, those of the same rank. A Sith Lord apprenticed to a Darth may have more authority than a newly christened Apprentice to a Sith, to illustrate the varying degree of levels of authority. It is naïve to state that all Apprentices are equal, the gradient of individual power/influence and accomplishments creates this separation.

Sith Neophyte:

Adepts of the Dark Side, these are commonly Apprentices who were under the tutelage of a master but are no longer serving them due to a variety of reasons- which may range from politics, exile to death. These are clear individuals that has yet to attain the level of accomplishment and mastery of a standard Sith. One who has yet completed their training under a master. Practitioners of the Dark Side who are in a precarious situation where they do not have the backing of an influential master nor the level of influence and ample opportunities that may be gained from a master’s guidance. While without a master, these individuals can still be a part of a powerbase, and therefore can consolidate power and influence through their own machinations and resourcefulness.

However, it is worthy to note that these individuals are characterized with a fair amount of freedom in comparison to an Apprentice. Without the scrutiny and expectations subjected upon them by their masters, these individuals often pursue their own development as they are able to allocate more of their time to their own agendas. Though it is noteworthy to state that this is unfortunately in exchange for the valued guidance and influence of a master and as such Neophytes strives to attain an apprenticeship to complete their training to become a true Sith.

The authority a Neophyte possesses is similar to that of a new Apprentice. Non-Siths will refer to them with respect and courtesy. Their rights and privilege may differ to that of an Apprentice due to the lack of influential backing of a master, therefore it is entirely dependent to the influence that they themselves as an individual has consolidated.

Sith:

These are established practitioners of the Dark Side, those who have a degree of mastery such that their combat prowess represents the Empire’s iron fist. These fill the bulk of the Empire’s forefront authority within its militarized and governing structure. As the rank that has many variations depending on the individual’s specialization, this position is commonly seen as the general or standard Sith.

Often assuming positions of power and authority, their responsibilities lies in furthering and expanding the interest of the powerbase and for the overall prosperity of the Empire. Whether their position extends towards improving the potency of their own affinity to the Dark Side or expanding the network of the powerbase. These Siths have the authority to accept apprentices of their own, it speaks volume of their solid foundation on the basis of the Dark Side. It is common for these Siths to already establish a powerbase of their own and strive to attain the level of accomplishment that will gain the recognition of Dark Lords to obtain the title of Lord.

Their authority level is elevated from their training phase, as forefront authorities they command the lower ranks and possesses a degree of command over other lesser Siths such as those who are newly apprenticed. Those below this rank must provide respect and courtesy. Due to the many variations, their authority levels depend solely on their level of influence and position within the hierarchy.

As to the variations, it is listed below:

Household Siths:

Accomplished adepts of the Dark Side, these are the Siths that pledges their allegiance to a standing House within the Empire. Their responsibility and focus are to develop and progress the cause of the Empire as well as improve the political influence of the House they identify with. Often these Sith’s are stalwart defenders and representatives of their House and may increase diplomatic standings with other Houses in the Sith Lord’s stead. Possessing political acumen, they are expected to represent their Houses’s virtues as a primary exemplar for the acolytes and apprentices of what a Sith is. As such their authority eclipses over the lower ranks and subjects them to their Houses ideal.

Sith Warrior:

The exemplar of a frontline Sith, they evoke fear and terror through their affinity for combat. Often identified by their signature lightsabers and cladded armors, the extent of their brutality is only matched by their crushing might. Aggressive and unrelentingly combative even by Sith standards, they are conditioned to withstand pain and agony by channeling it forth through their vindictive executions.

Conflict and strife marks the Sith Warrior, engaging in bloodthirsty warfare and combat is what suits them. The terror they impose upon the galaxy is enough to warrant undiluted fear. Often these are what the populace imagines when they think of the Sith- with valid and good reason. They leave trails of destruction in their wake, and the territories they fight in becomes chaotic as it is filled with frenzy and strife. Their authority is in conjunction to their influence on the battlefield and are naturally above the lower ranks of Sith.

Sith Marauders:

Paragons of duel oriented Siths who have specialized further into the art of combat. Their aggression is unmatched in the battlefield yet handles themselves with finesse and merciless efficiency. Exploiting critical and vital points of their enemies, their methods of annihilation is seen as ruthlessly effective. Never ending, never faltering there is no swifter bringer of agony in the galaxy. Their superior speed and soul crushing presence are often caused by their favoured discipline of Juyo. Combining acrobatics and obliterating stances, they inflict lasting traumas in the battlefield. These are often a rank above warriors due to their dedication and seniority in battle experience.
Sith Juggernauts

Stalwarts defenders, these are Siths who’s endurance and fortitude are their specialization. They possess unrivaled stamina in the field and devoted their studies into shrugging off enemies that would devour others and fill foes with doubt and despair. Unrelenting and domineering, these ranks are often required in every squadron in warfare. Possessing single minded fury, their favoured heavy armours boasts expansive fortitude which allows their responsibility to take the heat of the battle towards them and away from their allies. Their rank are above warriors due to specialization and based on accomplishments and seniority in battle experience.

Sith Commander

Veterans of warfare with unrelenting ferocity with an insightful malice behind their strategies. Often this can also be referred to as ‘Sith Battlemasters’ or ‘Sith Combat Masters’. Sith Commanders equip themselves with more than mere unyielding power but also immersion towards conceptual tactics and strategical coordination that makes them the utmost lethal and impactful role in any battlefield. They demonstrate fearsome traits and utter lack of fear from perishing in a battlefield, this is due to them cultivating and devoting their entire existence to warfare, which places them above the Sith Warriors, Marauders and Juggernauts and are even recognized by Sith Lords and Darths for their mastery in the battlefield. This rank can extend to a title, as certain Sith Lords have obtained it during their tenure out in the field.

Sith Blademaster:

The art of lightsaber combat has been progressively developing over the years, indeed it becomes a requirement for any Sith. Hence some have completely devoted the entirety of their lives in the pursuit of understanding on a conceptual level, enough to utterly destroy and obliterate even the most seasoned of warriors. Decades and even centuries of full immersion to lightsaber combat allows them to be one of the pillars in any powerbase. Blademasters hold supreme mastery and proficiency in the art of lightsaber. Virtually unstoppable in duels, their absolutist and perfectionist mindset allows them to eliminate even Sith Lords in single combat, provided it is through saber combat only. This rank can extend to a title and is usually only bestowed upon a single individual in a generation or powerbase, it can only be granted to the best of the best and has the propensity to be held by a seasoned Sith Lord or Darth. This honor and rank eclipses that of warriors, and their authority on saber dueling is second to none and often are the commanders in military operations.

Sith Sorcerer:

Sinister practitioners of the Dark Side and conniving members of the Sith. Whilst mastery over the Force is their signature repertoire, their primary focus lies within the art of manipulation and deception. Lethal spellcasters and magicians, the Sorcerer are a force to be reckoned with. They are regarded as the most potent of force users and able to bend the Force like no other. Often these mastery takes the form of alchemy and sorcery. Utilising the Dark Side to cloud the battlefield with their presence, a sorcerer’s contribution to a battlefield is often marked by raging storms and unnatural perversion of nature. Their rank is often accompanied by rights and privilege to access the darker lores and artifacts of the Empire.

Sith Assassin

Amongst the most feared Siths in the galaxy, these malevolent adepts of the Dark Side are concealed with secrecy and shadows. Due to the lack of public information, the galaxy is struck by the terrors and imagination of what a Sith Assassin is capable of. When they do find out, it is often too late. As the unseen force in the galaxy, they act as death dealers and spies often bending light and particles to move about in complete darkness. Their experience allows them to be able to infiltrate nearly any government and accomplish their Lord’s will without ever being detected. Their rank and authority are ambiguous with obvious reason and is largely dictated by the Lord or capacity they serve.

Sith Inquisitor:

Exemplar’s of the Empire’s will, these sinister adepts are one of the most feared members amongst the Sith, such that they cause terror with their fellow peers. This is largely due to responsibility of rooting out unworthy or treasonous Siths within the structure of the Empire. With mastery over torture methods and information gathering skills, their mere presence often compels other Sith to be warier of their own behaviors and machinations. Inquisitors are tasked to eliminate the fabrications and are stalwart pursuers of truth. Whether this comes with physical, mental or emotional torture is often dependent on the subject. Their rank and authority comes hand in hand with the Empire’s policies and legislations, and in certain cases allows them to even tread through Sith Lord’s authority should the latter provide reasonable doubt of their allegiance to the Empire.

Sith Alchemists:

Often the rarest of ranks are equipped with more clandestine pursuits of the Empire. Sith Alchemists are those that immersed and devoted their path into mastering the ancient and secret art of Sith Alchemy. Their level of mastery in the Dark Side surpasses that of standard sorcerer due to the in depth and advanced nature of the art. Alchemy is a pursuit that requires unwavering dedication and commitment, but those who have established themselves as alchemists are often capable of twisting environments, properties and fabric of nature in unnatural ways that can immediately turn the tides in warfare. Transmutations and creations of abominations are examples as to why those in this rank are feared. When a Sithspawn is even capable of devouring multiple warriors, it speaks volume of their feared creator. Their authority in the subject of Force mastery often makes these practitioners the one of the more ideal instructors within the Empire.

Sith Arcanists:

This rank is more akin to a title, similar to Bladesmaster. Those who have extensively immersed themselves into the Dark Side and holds supreme dominion in terms of Force Mastey boasts the level of absolute power. Often these arises from Sorcerers, Assassins or Alchemists through interdisciplinary studies and have mastered supremely in what those ranks are specialized into. Decades and even centuries of harnessing malevolent and abyssal powers mark the prestige in what this title offers. Whilst it is the rare and not officially part of the recognized structure, it holds traditional value as it derives from unspoken acknowledgement rather than a commemorated title. Often these are held by Sith Lords or Darths and has greater authority and privileges in accessing the more forbidden and clandestine arts of the Empire.

Shadow Hand:

A traditional rank that is historically used to signify the second-in-command of the Sith Monarch, or Sith’ari. Recorded during the golden ages of King Adas. These are often Sith’s with an immense and vast mastery in the Dark Side, sufficient to be bestowed the title by the singular leader in the days of old. Whilst not part of the official modern structure, the term is often colloquially designated to those of supreme strength to become the right hand of a powerful Dark Lord. The authority in the past was second only to the supreme being, but in modern iteration are commonly equivalent to accomplished apprentices to a Sith Master. However, it is interesting to note that their rank has changed in different periods, and it may even signify a Sith with the strength of a Sith Lord. These were in part due to the previous designation of ‘Emperor’s Hand’ which are technically below the Dark Council but serves directly to the Emperor during that period. This rank is often used in certain structures to indicate the elites of that Dark Lord’s powerbase.

Overseer:

Certain Sith’s possesses a caliber of lethality and foundational knowledge such that their guidance becomes a beacon for aspiring Siths. Their understanding of the Dark Side makes them potent masters with ferocity that is only matched by their scrutinized view of selectiveness. With the directive of overseeing the development and education of acolytes, these constant instructions of trials and lessons have made them the most critical of Siths.

While throughout history, Overseers are often Sith Lords, it is not a rank of requirement. Mainly their elevation to this position is due to their talent for instruction, and in the modern times the propensity of those that carries the dual titles are not as prevalent as the days of old. Their primary responsibility is to oversee and cull the weaklings from those who are worthy of Sith, often conducting trials and lessons while eliminating unworthy filth.

Their authority level reigns supreme within the halls of the acolytes, aspirants are expected to show manners that befits a promising candidate. This is characterized by their rights and privilege to bestow those the prestige of being Sith, who they deem to be worthy apprentices.

Sith Master:

The elite of the order, these are accomplished Sith who have established themselves as beyond the standard Sith. They represent the mastery of the Force and signifies true understanding of the Dark Side. Feared as they are renowned, these accomplished Siths could turn the deadliest of enemies into subjects of their domination. Their ferocity and fear they evoke sets the standards of the highest caliber. They have raised an apprentice to proficiency within modern iterations. The most accomplished and exceptional Sith Master may be elevated to the coveted position of Sith Lord.

It is often at these ranks that a Sith may challenge a Sith Lord for their title and position with a sense of validity and weight. Their responsibility lies with the Empire’s will as well as the behaviors and actions of their apprentice, often maintaining an iron grip if they see cause for disobedience- as it will reflect on the master’s image.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sith Lord:

Supreme representatives of the Empire’s iron fist. Sith Lords are the elite of the Order with a mastery of the Dark Side that eclipses those of standard Sith. Dreaded as they are renowned, it is often seen as the height of glory that opens the gateways to attain absolute dominion. Boasting massive power in the Dark Side, their lethality is a force to be reckoned with. They are the emblem of the Empire, representing what every sentient fear about the Sith. The mantle of a Sith Lord is heavy prestigious title, that carries responsibilities towards the overall betterment of the Empire.

Sith Lords are expected to build upon their own powerbases to consolidate power and influence. Often obtaining multiple apprentices to expand their network. Their level of authority eclipses the majority of the Sith as it is the height of prestige. A Sith Lord can discard their apprentices with ease and have the responsibility of their apprentice’s behaviours and actions, these are symbiotic relationships in which the former represents the latters will and power. Hence it is the duty of a master to keep their apprentice’s properly obedient. They have the right to command structures and rearrange powerbases of their own making and can demote any Sith underneath them. They answer to only the Sith above their ranks which may range from Darths to the Emperor himself.

Darth:

If the Sith Lords are the supreme representatives of the Empire’s iron fist, then the Darth’s are the absolute authority and embodiment of its unrelenting will. These individuals are immensely powerful beyond measure with an unnatural affinity and attunement to the Dark Side to compel dread and terror by mere presence alone. Darths are exceptionally powerful and influential figures of the Empire. Sith Lords who have virtually distinguished themselves from their powerful peers, may be elevated to the coveted position of Darth.

Whilst the Darth is generally accepted as the strongest ‘caste’ of the Sith, in terms of influence and authority they are still Sith lords within the current iteration of the Empire. It is noteworthy to state that certain Sith Lords may be more influential or powerful which may vary from political influence, military strength or even mastery of the Force. It is due to this that provides the possibility and opportunity for a Sith Lord to usurp and take the mantle of Darth, which has been historically done countless times for millenias. There are cases where a Sith Lord may possess more authority than a Darth, which is often tied to the Empire’s structure or to serve a military campaign due to experience. Therefore, the first singular responsibility for a Darth is to consolidate power sufficient enough to hold the prestige of being a Dark Lord. Attaining the title of Darth is one thing, but maintaining it is what truly defines a Dark Lord.

As the most powerful ‘caste’ of the Sith, their authority is absolute and unquestionable to those subject to their authority. Lower ranked Siths are expected to show complete and utter obedience and respect, as it may warrant their death should they do otherwise. Though a misconception arises that a Darth cannot serve another Darth, in which this is false. The structure of the Empire is vast and organized in a manner that promotes a ruthless hierarchy, which culminates towards the upper echelons of the Sith. Darths can serve other Darths when they are below in the structural hierarchy within the Empire’s structure. Hence their influence and authority vary in diverging gradients.
Sith Emperor/Sith Empress

The undisputed leader of the Empire. Ruling supreme with absolute dominion as the leader of the Sith Empire. As the leading figure of the Empire, their presence alone eclipses that of the already fearsome Dark Lords. Exceptionally powerful in the Dark Side and one of the most influential figure of the galaxy, their word alone is law and are subject to extreme obedience. Politically unchallenged, only individuals with a death wish would dare intrude on their path. As the sole leader, they have the authority above all in the Empire, regardless how accomplished a Dark Lord is- they are answerable to their leader without hesitancy.

The leader has the authority to command and rally all Sith powerbases under their beck and call, all military operations are subject to their will, every asset of the Empire is tailored to their specification and can be ordered to do what they will- be it grand fleets or entire planetary resources. Territories and systems under the rule of the Empire serves the ruler's will and intent, which extends to the planetary governments that the Imperials have established. As the one titular ruler, their authority is absolute, reigns supreme and commands the entirety of the Empire to their agendas.

Ned would have sent the report to apprentice Annabelle.

The Sith Order is comprised of many titles and ranks. In this report, I will attempt to give a clear image of the hierarchy of the Sith, and the ladder of power within the Order.

Acolyte:
Being the lowest rung on the ladder of power in the Sith Order, Acolytes are not considered full Sith and have to study and train to advance to the rank of Apprentice, who are taught by a Lord or a Household Sith.

An Acolyte must always, and I repeat always address his or her superiors (everyone who is not an acolyte) with “My lord,” and a bow. If you do not do this, you will be punished, trust me. Acolytes are only permitted to wear the standard black robes given to them when they join the Horuset Powerbase.

Apprentice:

One rung up from the rank of Acolyte, Apprentices are chosen and taught by either a Lord or a household Sith and can give lessons to the Acolytes, a privilege which all full Sith, from  Apprentices to Darth Horuset himself share.

Apprentices, unlike Acolytes, usually have the right to clothe themselves in any kind of robes or armor they wish, unless specifically told so by their master.
If an Apprentice were to come across an Acolyte, the Apprentice would expect the Acolyte to greet them with “My lord,” and a bow. This is standard and is expected of them. I myself am an advocate of this rule, as it is only natural to show respect to one's superiors.

If an Apprentice were to come across a Lord or Dark Lord, however, the rolls are reversed. Then, the superior would expect the Apprentice to bow and greet them with “My Lord”.

Neophyte:

On the same rung as the rank of Apprentice, although a bit less prestigious, is the rank of Neophyte, who are usually Apprentices whose master either left the Powerbase or died and are since without a master.

If a Neophyte were to encounter an acolyte, they would expect the standard greeting; a bow and “My Lord”.

What is required were a Neophyte to encounter an Apprentice is unclear to me, as they are around the same level of power and respect, although the Neophyte would most likely greet the Apprentice with “Apprentice”, followed by the Apprentices name. If a Neophyte were to cross the path of a Lord or a Dark Lord, the rolls would, just like with the Apprentice, be reversed, the Neophyte bowing to the Lord, greeting them with “My Lord”.

Household Sith:

On the next rung of the ladder of power in the Sith Order, placed between the Lord and the Apprentice, are the Household Sith. These Sith have been apprentices to a Sith, and finished their Apprenticeship, completing their training under whichever Sith taught them.

Yes, they have finished their training, but they did not have enough merit or achievements to become a Lord.

This means that they have less authority than a Lord, although more than an Apprentice, and that they will most likely expect perfect obedience from anyone but their superiors - Lords, and Dark Lords.

This means, that whenever they cross the path of a Apprentice or an Acolyte, they will expect the standard greeting of a bow and “My Lord”, or “Sith (Name)”, from Apprentices.

Household Sith are able to take on Apprentices, which they pick from the pool of Acolytes who have completed three of the Acolyte Trials. They are the first Sith in the Powerbase to do so, sharing the privilege with the Lords and Darth Horuset.

Lord:

One of the most prestigious positions in the Horuset Powerbase, the Lord is the highest position a Sith can achieve within the Horuset Powerbase itself, with the Kalkoran Powerbase -  the primary powerbase within the Horuset Powerbase -  formed after Lord Kalkoran finished his apprenticeship under the Dark Lord of Horuset, joining with Lord Sanguinis to form the Kalkoran Powerbase, within the Horuset Powerbase.

Having finished their apprenticeship, a Lord is able to give lessons to Acolytes, although they often delegate this task to their apprentices, if they have any.
Ranking only below the Dark Lord of the Sith, the Lord has absolute authority over those beneath him - Acolytes. Apprentices, and Household Sith.
Usually having a web of allies both within and outside of the Powerbase, a Sith Lord is one of the most powerful political positions in the Powerbase, usually having command of a ship - like Lord Saud does the Tija, Lord Tokiai the Tusniyi, and Lord Kalkoran the Th’ssra.

Dark Lord of the Sith:

The Dark Lord of the Sith, also called Darth, is the most powerful position both in the Horuset Powerbase and the Empire as a whole, as the Dark Lord of the Sith has supreme authority, and usually serves in one of the twelve Spheres of Influence of the Dark Council, although the Horuset Powerbase serves all, not dedicated to one particular Sphere of Influence, as several others do, such as Darth Lachris did in the Sphere of Defense of the Empire, before her death on Balmorra in 11 ATC.

Ruling vast powerbases, and having a large amount of political sway, the Dark Lord of the Sith is what every Sith should aim to become. To do so, however, one must become an exemplar of the Sith and requires a great mastery of both the Dark Side and the Lightsaber. Therefore, the title of Darth is not reserved for everyone, as many simply do not have the dedication required to study and train, to build up a powerbase powerful enough to make the Dark Council or the Emperor take note, as only the Dark Council or the Empress can bestow the title of Dark Lord of the Sith.

There have been several unfruitful attempts to become a Dark Lord of the Sith in the Empire, such as the Lord Grathan, who lost both his wife and son to an unknown cause on 10 ATC.

Other Ranks:

Overseer:

The Overseer is an appointed title usually granted to a Sith Lord who has shown an aptitude for instruction at either the Korriban or Dromund Kaas Sith Academies. House Horuset, too, has several Overseers under its control, who are lead by Head-Overseer Arcukot.

The role of an Overseer differs slightly in the Empire and the Horuset Powerbase, as the Overseers in service to the Sith Academies train groups of Acolytes and administer their Trials, from which they can be chosen as an Apprentice by a Sith Lord.

In the Horuset Powerbase, however, the Overseer - at least to my knowledge- does not teach or train Acolytes, instead only administering their Trials.
Sith Inquisitor:

A Sith Inquisitor is a Sith who has chosen to specialize in the Force alone, often learning only one form of Lightsaber combat, usually Form VI, Niman.

The path of becoming an Inquisitor is a harsh one, on which few succeed, regardless of potential. Only the most determined acolytes attained such an achievement, but these Sith were often the ones to watch.

Sith Inquisitors are often heavily involved in political intrigue and careful plans, those being the lifeblood of Sith Politics and the Empire as a whole. Often, the Sith Inquisitor, if he reached the apex of his power, claimed a seat on the Dark Council, and usually stayed there, like Darth Nox did before the Zakuulian onslaught, as leader of the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge.

Sith Warrior:

Sith Warriors, described as "an unstoppable force of darkness", were combat specialists of the Empire, and serve as the champions of the battlefield, entrusted with the task of destroying the Empire’s enemies and enforcing Sith domination across the galaxy. Trained to rely on the emotions of fear, anger, and hatred to improve their connection to the Dark Side of the Force, they were a formidable opponent, destroying their enemies with the crimson lightsaber, or with the Force.

In contrast to the Sith Inquisitors, Warriors had little patience for careful planning and wasted no time with such manipulations. Instead, they demanded absolute obedience from their followers, relying on power and intimidation to attain their ends.

Nobrcer would send the report with the below as it's filename to Apprentice Annabelle with his name at the bottom

The Sith Hierarchy and the ranks within:

Foreword

In this report, I hope to accurately talk about The Sith Hierarchy and the ranks within it. As a prelude to this, I believe that there is a Hierarchy even between the ranks of the sith themselves. Myself being an Alien acolyte, I have seen the difference between a pureblood and myself in the eyes of an apprentice, sith and even lords. I believe that as an overarching hierarchy, A sith pureblood of any rank will be, mostly, higher than a human of the same rank who in turn will be higher than an Alien of the ranking. This being said, lets talk about each rank within the Sith Hierarchy.

Rank One, The Acolyte:

An Acolyte is the lowest of the low within the Sith Hierarchy. They are brought in from all styles of life as force sensitive trainees. They don’t know the sith ways, they don’t know force powers, they don’t know much at all. That is there job while they are Acolytes. To learn, to gain power, to be shown what it is to become sith. Because Acolytes come from everywhere, they are not generally considered sith, but will become sith once they complete a number of trials, basic tests to show their worth to the higher ups in a way to be taken on as an apprentice (see below for more information on apprentices). Acolytes have limited access to resources and are limited in the force powers and light saber forms they can use. Acolytes, being at the bottom of the hierarchy, must refer to everyone above them as, “My Lord” and are below anyone. Overseers hold the most power of an acolyte, but unless it goes against an overseer’s command any sith or imperial also has full authority over an acolyte.

Rank Two, Sith Neophyte:

I was foggy at first where this and the household sith ranking fell in the hierarchy until I sought out Kalar Zunda for information. I was told by her that a sith Neophyte are in a simple way to put it, a masterless apprentice. They were once an apprentice but their master either died or gave up on them. They are the same sort of power and authority as an apprentice so read on for more information.

Rank Three, Sith Apprentice:

A Sith Apprentice, you are now a huge step up from when you were an acolyte. As an apprentice you now have a master. Someone who has more control over you than most people would. As an apprentice you now have access to a whole lot more resources, more force powers and light saber forms. An apprentice’s master will have a set amount they want them to progress before they two would be raised from an apprentice. An apprentice is above an acolyte but below pretty much everything else in the hierarchy. Apprentices serve their master first and foremost and in turn, the master will train the apprentice making them stronger.

Rank Four, Household Sith:

Yet another rank I was unsure about before my talks with Zunda, a household sith herself. A household sith can have many different titles, two which we have here in House Horuset are Sith Kalar and Lorekeeper. Lorekeeper Jadie’s role/job is to look after the library and impart knowledge to the future generations. Whereas Sith Kalar Zunda’s role is to keep her assets fully utilised for the house and simply to train her apprentices. A household sith, as gathered from the knowledge above is higher than an apprentice and can even take on their own apprentices, but lower than the ranking of a lord.

Rank Five, Sith Lord:

A Sith Lord is the most regularly attainable rank in the Sith Hierarchy. That’s not saying it is easy to become a sith lord however. Once a master sees that their apprentice has enough power, influence and political standings, they may be raised up to a lord. A lord has great skill in both Light Saber techniques and force powers being able to hold themselves up against numerous apprentices at the same time in most circumstances. A sith lord when promoted will most likely take on an apprentice straight away as a sign of their extra duties. A sith lord is above a household sith and apprentices, but below a Darth.

Rank Six, Darth:

The Darth is a super powered position. It is above a Sith Lord and only below a dark council member and the Emperor. A Darth needs to do something very big or be very powerful to be raised from a Lord to a Darth. An acolyte like myself is so below a Darth that if I were to pass one he wouldn’t even look my way. A Darth is something that every Sith wants to be but very few could ever become.

Rank Seven, Dark Council Member:

As a Darth there is one step up and that is becoming a member on the dark council. This requires a huge powerbase, a spot to be open on the dark council and to be very powerful. A dark council member is above a regular Darth and makes decisions to actively better the empire. The only person above a dark council member is the…

Rank Eight, The Emperor:

Above everyone else, even the dark council members is the Emperor. Everyone would bow before him in the streets, that is, if anyone knew where he was. The Emperor is a position I do not know much about, but I know that he is the head of the entire Empire and powerful beyond fathom of a simple acolyte such as myself.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there are many different ranks within the Sith Hierarchy and each time that you progress in a rank, your power is significantly higher, both in terms of authority and strength, than it was when you first began as the previous rank. Working your way up the ranks is a hard, but very worthwhile adventure.

Ranks of the Sith: A Report by Uldrinn Yurad-Tol

ACOLYTE

While not strictly a member of the Sith Order, the acolyte is the expression of the future, legions of hopefuls pining for attention from their betters in the desire to achieve greatness. So often is the acolyte looked upon with disdain: the flawed, directionless mass that men and women of great power must somehow mold into the next generation. Some display great potential, be it with blade, the force, science or the spoken word and are put to use in the great machine. Others fumble and fall by the way side, never to be spoken of again in the long annals of the Sith. While brutal, the utilitarian relationship of Sith and Acolyte has proved effective in weeding out the impurity of character from an otherwise saturated herd.

In House Horuset, purity is first on the agenda. An acolyte can come from almost anywhere, in my observations I have seen everything from Pureblooded Sith to Arkanian to Twi'lek. Alien blood, a taboo of Horuset's traditionalist paradigm, has shown to be inhibiting to one's experience but not a barrier which cannot be overcome. My brief encounters with Apprentice Aljo have confirmed this in my mind, ascension must be fought for, but it is within reach of us all if we can only grasp it. I admit however that the anti-alien language of the Pureblood's has rung true in many occasions, So then I must return to my considerations of the acolyte: What are they capable of? What must they endure?

An acolyte has little power, they can only go so far on their relatively short leash. They see portions of a much wider galaxy before being thrust back into the cold bosom of their temporary home once again. They bound not only in body but in realms of thought as well. The Dark Side permeates their surroundings, they drown in paranoia, intrigue and the raw presence of their betters. This however, has proven to inspire creativity, an interest to learn the multitudes of pathways to power. Acolytes begin to seek out their interests, they skulk amongst the archives or stay awake late into the night thrashing a training droid.

We are bound in voice, speaking out of turn is a punishable sentence, though some have decided to test its limits. Protocol demands physical displays of respect whenever a superior enters a room, and before they or the acolyte exits. Even in Iziz was such respect so rarely meted out. In terms of authority the acolytes are the dirt beneath the hierarchy, they answer to all but each other within their power structure. There are notable exceptions when granted authority by their betters but in short the reach of an acolyte is less than none in the realm of the Sith.

NEOPHYTE

The Neophyte rank is a curious one, the best immediate example I have in the vicinity is that of Neophyte Aregra. The writings state that the Neophyte is one without a master to train them, though at one time they were under the tutelage of another. While the reasons behind this state are numerous, the neophyte is never to be considered close to the realm of the acolyte, they exist often as an independent entity serving either themselves or the power-base to which they may continue to belong. The Neophyte by some observation occupies their time largely with pursuits of interest, be they the natural sciences, philosophy or combat.

When it comes to authority for the Neophyte, their power is limited, their domination often restricted to the influence over acolytes although this does have some level of variation as the Neophyte may display some level of seniority. While having more experience does not equate to authority, fresh apprentices may defer to the judgment of a seasoned Neophyte if the situation requires or are too meek to think for themselves. Ultimately, without a master behind them or a union to enhance their standing, their authority is limited at best.

APPRENTICE

The first hurdle of the acolyte, the crest of the first hill before they can see the rest of the mountain. The point at which one can ascend to the rank of apprentice varies greatly. Once one has completed their trials, they may be eligible for a willing Sith out of their own apprentice-hood to take them under their wing. This does not equate success in a trial with automatic selection. One must consider the type of protege the Sith Master requires. The apprentice is a servant, a student, a warrior and a scholar. The apprentice becomes an extension of the master's will and as such the resources and knowledge of their teacher becomes largely available to them. This I can imagine however can be limited depending on how tight a leash the master wishes to keep on his student. There is a fundamental shift in training as one ascends to the role of the Apprentice. Where as an acolyte one must focus on grabbing the attention of their prospective new teacher, the apprentice must both strive to prove their continued usefulness and begin to expand their horizons to the greater depths of Dark Side knowledge.

The authority of an apprentice, much like the neophyte, can depend on their seniority. Strictly speaking active apprentices will have dominion over the acolytes as the neophytes do, although in terms of standing, the Apprentice may lord themselves over the Neophytes using the support of the master behind them. In fact the paradigm carries up the master themselves, the more powerful or influential a power-base held by a Sith, the greater influence that can extend to the actions of the apprentice. Despite this, unless in conflict, the Apprentice remains bound to the etiquette of the Sith, referring to their superiors in proper manner as all but the most daring or foolish of Sith would do.

SITH LORD

A Lord of the Sith, sometimes referred to as Dark Lord, are agents of the Dark Side who have truly immersed themselves in aspects of Sith knowledge, combat and philosophy. They are the example of the Empire at large. The Sith do not all become Lords when they break free of the chains of apprenticeship, the role of a Lord requires, more than anything, a will and means to hold the title. When I look to the example of Lord Kalkoran and Lord Sanguinis, they inspire true fear to those around them, not only that but they seem to be connected to numerous aspects of the Empire, and thus, their reach extends beyond the boundaries of House Horuset. Lords appear to exert their power through numerous apprentices, a feature I've observed predominantly from Lord Kalkoran. To describe this anecdotally, one could view a Lord of the Sith as one who lies on a bed of weeds, ripping them from the ground before they suffocate them. To be a Lord is to be constantly wary of one's own position, who covets your role and desires to take it from you. One must consolidate their power base through fear, intimidation and political alliances and as such must dominate those below them. They answer to few, restricted largely to the Darths, a subject I will look into in a moment but for now, one must consider the authority of a Sith Lord to far reaching, largely autonomous.

SITH/HOUSEHOLD SITH

While the temptation to draw similarities in nature between these Sith and the Lords of the Sith, one must think of these roles in very different ways. The Lords have secured a position of political influence, enough to retain a level of self-contained authority. Household and what I will refer to as “Independent Sith” are those who have been raised up from the role of an apprentice, their training considered complete when talking about the more academic aspects of what it means to be Sith. These Sith are relatively independent in nature and have authority close to that of a Lord when considering traditional hierarchic structures. They continue to represent the Sith Order in full and the House to which they may belong. Their authority is considered less than a Lord simply on a de facto basis as the Lord has numerous avenues at their disposal to assert and maintain their own individual power-bases.

DARTH

The epitome of the Sith ideals in mortal form. They embrace the code to its absolute end, they have fought through the endless cycle of coveting and conquering. While their authority is highly similar to that of a Darth, from my observations, the title is largely ceremonious in nature and is determined by both achievement, willpower and most importantly, the strength to take the place of another. The way of the Sith is to break free of those above you, and the Darth represents a pure expression of the heights one can achieve, every generation stronger than the last. Their authority is nigh absolute within the Empire, their will carried out by legions of loyal followers. Answerable only to the Ministries of the Empire and the Empress herself, the Darth commands the respect and fear of the Empire at large, although the greatest targets for betrayal and power-politics. Where politicians represent corruption, the Darth represents the ideal of an Imperial society, strive for what you desire, the strong and clever survive, the rest are made to serve or die.

ROUND THREE

Round three took place in a simulated area within the jungles of Dromund Kaas. Those who had attended were Acolytes Alencia, Sovernus, Nedhorroc, Uldrinn and Corran. Lord Sanguinis decided that his apprentice, Valkara should take part in the round as well. The acolytes were thoroughly searched by Apprentice Jen’kaar, to ensure that the acolytes would not have an advantage to the round. They were instructed to enter the arena with nothing other than the clothing on their backs. Followed, they entered one of the shuttles provided by Lord Kalkoran, and Apprentice Annabelle ensured that none of them damaged the shuttle. Then the shuttle landed in an area of Apprentice Annabelle's choosing, however, the acolytes were split up throughout the arena. The goal was to have one soul victor standing at the end, preferably if the victor was an acolyte. They had to survive the environment of the jungle of Kaas, along with the wild life and the traps that Apprentice Annabelle had set for them such as poisonous gas. In order to win, they had to survive not only the harsh environment, they had to survive against each other.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
