Failure Means Punishment.

#1
Hilos stood on the cold tainted iron floors of the training room: "Again, you worthless street rat!" His gaze fell upon a slim young pureblood boy. Around the age of six. The tension in the dark room growing while the cold air blew itself from the ventilation shaft. "Yes, Father."

Adzuh had learned not to give up from day one, something he was not going to forget. He with this in mind got up from the ground, it was cold and slippery. In advance standing in the opening stance - his foot placed in front of his body, blade held on hip-height, directly in front of the navel. Both his hands grabbing the heavy blade tightly. Most likely purely out of anger, before putting the blade upwards in a fourty-five degree angle.
Waiting for the training droid to fire the next set of practice bolts. And as a practice droid is designed it fired the bolts in a random fashion. To the distaste of the boy's father, Adzuh fell on the ground ones more.

Hilos watched as his son got up from the ground. While as soon as he got up he fell. "What is the matter with you!? You insecure little rat!" His voice was even colder then before, with more hate. It was like everything he thought his son could've accomplish depended on this moment. Making the young pureblood stand up ones again.

"If you cannot do it, I will kill you myself!" The voice was burning, the sentence gripping. What did his father say? He didn't understand, he had done everything his father asked for. Yet, this still wasn't enough! The boy was angered and confused, not thinking straight, he'd grab his blade, holding it above his head in a foolish fashion. Tightly between his two hands before he ran at his father, who shook his head in disappointment.
Lightning flashed through the room as soon as it was casted.

Adzuh flew against the wall, hearing his back bones break slightly. His airpipe slowly squeezed upon impact. With that, his vision quickly faded before he fell on the same cold ground he trained upon just yet.

- A few Hours later -

Adzuh opened his eyes, where was he? Was he in the medbay, was he in his room? No, he wasn't in either of them. He was in the interrogation room. While his back still hurted
from the impact against the wall, yet what had transpired before had dissapeared from his memory. Must've been a hard impact.

The boy on the other hand had no idea why he lay on a bed in the interrogation room. Yet it was like the devil had heard his thoughts, he was greeted by a light shock. "Wakey, wakey now..." His father stood at the entrance of the room, his hand still stretched from the directed  shock he had casted. "You dissapoint me in everything you do, Adzuh... You bring distaste and dishonour towards our great family heritage." His father started his pace.

Adzuh had looked up and looked straight into the cold gaze of his father. Trying to remove himself from the bed, yet as hard as he struggled. He was binded to the bed.

The door of the room closed, before a loud yell sounded through the hallways of the Dark house... The guards almost losing formation to the terrifying sound..

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
