Born as Mira Galtorn on a imperial Mining world known as Mirnas, she was born a son of the foreman on site and grew up in and around the mine and at an early age she was set to help around it with small jobs like running with supplies and such. She was around 18 when she got her first shift as a deep dig miner due to an accident where 3 workers died, having mostly done surface mining and other less dangerous jobs. The Imperials overseeing the mine investigated but found it to be an accident and the foremen were to keep up the production at a regular pace. So she and two other young people were sent into the mines so as not to slow down anything. It didn't take a few more weeks before an explosion rocketed her shaft, they dug into a gas pocket and blown up a wall section without realizing it. She was only one of two to survive the blast both arms blown cleanly of and legs barely hanging on. She was pulled critically injured from the mine and when she became awake she realize how bad her injuries were. Her father was not that wealthy and could not afford new legs for her and so while he was crying at the bedside fired her from the mine to cut loss, already having an investigation heading his way he dint want her to face it nor make his situation worse. She cried and cried and left at basic care until she could get moving in a wheelchair, she ended up on the streets begging and barely scraping by. It was by chance that when she checked into a medical facility one day that an imperial scientist visited, he saw her and immediately order his escort to take her to the transport later being told she was being enrolled in a medical program for developing better cybernetics for combat operations for the benefit of the Empire her name was taken and she was given an experiment name and records were quickly seal and later lost. She would spend many years being used as a live test subject, the unimagine horror and pain she had to go through and yet in the end the experiments were deemed a failure and a waste of budget and were cut off even do they worked just not after intentions. Everyone was given a choice if one can call it that, either sign up with the imperial academy or become contracted to hard labour to make up the cost they wasted on them. Fair to say she took the first deal and in 24AC she would enlist in an Imperial Academy and 2 years later graduate, only to be assigned Rear guard supply duties far away from the frontlines. Now a year later she has put in a request to transfer to a frontline unit.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
