Outnumbered? Perhaps. Outgunned? Never.

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"After many months of work, the 'D5-Mantis' starship that was captured on Rishi has begun to yield its secrets to the Horuset Powerbase. Its Navigational charts have been decrypted and the Horuset Powerbase now has a target it wishes destroyed. The 'Raven's Talon' requires a crew of four to operate to at peak efficiency and such efficiency will be required.
The task before those who wish it is a simply one. A pirate space station lies at the end of one of the explored smuggling hyperspace routes from Rishi. A route named '1-33-KL-TC'. The station is lightly guarded by a squadron of six 'Liberator-Class Starfighters from before and during the Great Galactic War. The fighters have seen extensive use already and them being in pirate hands only lends to them being far from what they once were. Use the 'Raven's Talon' to lure out the Squadron of fighters and destroy them. Do not engage the Space Station.
Those who survive such a space battle, will have my favour. "

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: The 'Raven's Talon' is currently in the spaceport of Dromund Kaas awaiting departure. From there, use the navigational computer to find your way to Rishi and then onwards to the pirate space station at the end of route '1-33-KL-TC'.
((OOCly: The Operation can begin in the DK spaceport, with a Bounty Hunter class grouped so that the D-5 Mantis can be used later! The point of this Operation is to have an event that is near entirely based on space flight and then space combat. That means the majority of the RP will be done aboard a starship, so have fun with some potentially new RP!))

The 'Raven's Talon': The Ship is an D5-Mantis. Nimble, quick and agile with enough cargo space to stow away enough supplies to aid in any blockade breaking, the reputation of the 'Raven's Talon' precedes it mostly in rumour and folklore. Most believed the ship to be culmination of many different ships all having their achievements attributed to a pinnacle of smuggling expertise.

Objectives: In this task there will be three primary objectives and one secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Pilot the 'Raven's Talon' to Rishi and then along route '1-33-KL-TC' to the Pirate Space Station.
Primary Objective II: Lure out and destroy the Squadron of Liberator-Class Starfighters.
Primary Objective III: Return to the Sith Empire having ensured that the Space Station believes its squadron of fighters destroyed by the infamous 'Raven's Talon'.
Secondary Objective I: The 'Raven's Talon' is far from standard in the Empire. Its systems have been upgraded, replaced and some outright removed to streamline the vessel to suit a smuggler's needs. Repairing the ship would be costly. Do not let it get damaged.

Time Frame: The team will have 28 days to complete the task before the pirate Space Station gets further reinforcements, nullifying the chance to destroy the squadron.
((The 16th of April will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of no more than four will be necessary to fully operate the 'Raven's Talon'.

*Vaenra's holographic image sparks into view.* "Mission accomplished, master."

"We set off quite late towards the evening, Apprentice Black insisted that we leave all of our means of communication back on the ground of the spaceport. Despite the fact that the ship masks such signals in and out anyway... The jump to Rishi was swift, and after going through the lane you've designated, we've been contacted by the pirates. After some insults being exchanged, we were chased by a set of six-to eight strike craft. After a few maneuvers I've given the acolytes time to kill a few, then I used the ship's speed advantage and got all the fighters on our tale and led them into an asteroid field whilst I released a mine. Needless to say, they were not prepared. The ship is also back in one piece, we left them a taunting message about how they were beneath the Talon, then I took a route with several stops instead of coming back to Kaas immediately, so the ship is impossible to trace back, master."

>>Cerberus Black Report of “Outnumbered? Perhaps. Outgunned? Never.”<<

“My Master, the task you posted have been completed with minimal damage to the Raven Talon.

Preparations included that all the Purebloods became masked to both face and voice, requiring that no contact was to be linked back to the Empire, in any way possible. The Acolytes and the Apprentices was forced to leave their holo communicators behind as it could, if unlucky be used to track back to the Empire, and to House Horuset. With preparations done and now on the way to the ship. I hid the holo communicators for them to be retrieved when the group returned back to its original destination.

Given the lack of time we had before we would lose the momentum, we went to our way to the location you gave the group with no matter of resistance.

The station seeked contact to our vessel as the group was on the way to the location we were given, pretending to have been recently attacked and left for dead, we would let out the play that we required repairs and didn’t have much of a chance to survive without assistance, this was enough to send them a squad of Liberator-class ships. It would have seemed that the Talon have once in the past maybe attacked their station before, or someone with the same name have.

Taking the squadron was an easy match with the cunning of Apprentice Horuset and the Acolytes somewhat sloppy aim. While Cerberus Black kept the facade that the ship was in fact the Ravens Talon. The rest of the attacking forces was blasted out with a well placed mine before diving into an asteroid field, hiding away from the incoming blast and let the fate of the pirates be left into the fate of the mines mercy… which it lacked.

After the attack run was completed, Cerberus Black left a message, rubbing in the salt into their now newly made wounds about the Talon and the wounds the Talon made and how much beneath the Pirates were. Upon completion of the taunt, the group set course back towards Dromund Kass, jumping between a few sectors as to shake off any potential followers.

Damage report: The only damage taken was onto the shields, those might require some checking if they are still functional and not on the verge of breaking. Other than that Master, the ship is fully impact.”

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
