Long ago, when the Caste of the Kissai broke away, there was one of the families who remained on Korriban.
That family was that of the Aeros bloodline. Many generations ago, this Bloodline were followers of the ancient ways of the Sith. Their family practiced sorcery, sacrifice and worshipped. Even though some of their blood was thinned by the Humans, some of them eventually made a rule that if broken by one, it would be punished by death. And that rule was to keep purity within the Bloodline.
The bloodline eventually moved to Ziost to one of its great temples, their code and dedication to ancient sorcery and religion still remaining as a vital part of their daily lives. Many generations past as the new Sith Emperor moved most of his people to the jungles of Dromund Kaas when Ziost was lost.
For many centuries it stayed this way, and the family grew stronger, and stronger. Still till this day the family religiously follow the ancient ways but over the course of the centuries became more distrustful of the modernisations of the Empire.
This resulted in the family taking to the shadows, controling, watching.
With their centuries old estate hidden deep in the jungle, barely anyone comes around, nor do they have any desire for this unless its for official business.
There are few left of them after many fell in the wars against the Republic, and those who had died defending Korriban from the Zakuulan invasion. Its Matriarch leads the Bloodline with an iron fist, and guile outside their home.
Only time will tell, if the Bloodline will survice this modern Empire, and the dying of their Pureblood race...
