Physical description:
Weighing 62 kg and 1,75 meters tall, Yggdrasil is a short young man. His body still reasonable toned. Not because of his muscled body, but rather because of his skinny nature, revealing the muscles more clearly.

Scars:
Yggdrasil does not have any scars as of now.

Personality:
  • Clumsy
  • Proud
  • Impatient
  • Introvert
  • Family oriented

Backstory:
Yggdrasil was born last of the three sons of Laerad, a not-so-noteworthy Baron of House Girard on Alderaan. However not sensitive himself, force-sensitivity seemed to be running strong in his direct descendants. His six-year-older twin brothers, Nerthus and Semnones, were also force sensitive.

In an attempt to increase his family's prestige and in turn their relations with the Empire, he send his first two sons off to Korriban to become Sith. Both of them accustomed to a certain standard of living they were deemed Ill prepared as the Academy filtered them out of their ranks. Of the twins, Semnones died first. Killed in a duel by a rival Acolyte. After hearing of his death, Nerthus swore to take revenge and challenged his brother's rival. Realizing he had greatly underestimated his opponent he fled the fight. Not being able to return a failure he wandered the tombs, hiding with other failed Acolytes. He was eventually killed by a more notable student.
When Laerad heard about the fate of his first two sons he was devastated. Not wanting to lose another son he decided to keep Yggdrasil close to home, shielding him from the knowledge of the fate of his brothers and the dangers of the outside world. Either too young to understand or just content with the decision, Yggdrasil did not mind the isolation.

While wandering the private garden he was able to feel the lifeforms around him and bend small objects to his will. This sparked his interest and he started to visit the gardens more often, practicing his abilities on small plants and leaves. As his desire to learn more about the force grew, he decided to ask his father if he could hire someone to teach him. To Yggdrasil's disappointment he refused.

As he got older, questions about his brothers were getting more frequent. His father, realizing he could not hide the truth from him forever, explained what had happend. Both devastated by the truth and angry that his father has kept this from him for so long he stormed off to his usual spot in the gardens. There he let out his rage on the foliage around him. Using the force to tear it all apart. Then and there he decided that he wanted to go to the Academy himself. Not only to learn more about the force, but more so to make sure his brothers did not fall in vain. At first Laerad tried to talk him out of it as he did not want to lose him aswell. A long heated discussion followed, but he realized Yggdrasil could not be swayed from his decision so he reluctantly arranged his departure...

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
