Subject: Assignment 1: The individual Sith 'Phenotype'
My Lord, I wish to thank you again for the lesson. I found it very enlightening and useful. It definetly contained pointers that I feel all Sith should know, understand and use. And I hope my response to the assignment should reflect that.
How do I want to be seen by those outside of the powerbase or Sith order?
This is a question with many potential layers and answers. Afterall how one wishes to be seen by others depends entirely on their allegiance. One would aspire to be seen differently by different 'parties' and expect them to behave and react accordingly. Be they friend, foe, Imperial, alien and so forth all will, and -should- see and react to me as a Sith differently.
And just like many others I have plans and answers for how I envision these parties to see me. But I believe there is a simple, all encompassing answer that is merely applied differently depending on who I am faced with.
And that answer is that I, and any member of the Sith Order, should strive to, be seen as just that. Sith. Nothing more, nothing less.
One will of course seek to invoke different reactions depending on who they are faced with. They will , for instance, seek to inspire loyalty and obedience in subservients, respect in the eyes of equals, usefulness in the eyes of superiors, fear in the eyes of enemies and so on. But all of these reactions stem from the same thing, they are all merely associations the different parties mentioned have with the Sith Order and it's members.
Merely being a proper Sith is enough to invoke all of these desired reactions from the desired parties. And being easily recognised as a Sith is what one should inspire to be.
How will i adjust my projection to be seen as such?
There are many factors that go into being recognised as a proper Sith, many of them are even purposfully designed to play into stereotypes. Whether it is clothing, mannerisms, demeanor or way of speaking everything you do should contribute to your overal association with the Sith order.
And I, and hopefully any other Sith, should therefore strive to emulate these things in every viber of our being. We should all understand the invocations our 'membership' of the Sith order has and therefore strive to ensure others know we are Sith.
We should dress like Sith, act like Sith and present ourselves to those outside the order as Sith. And this for instance requires us to dress in a manner associated with the Sith order, be it what sorts of clothing we wear or what colour the fabric and materials are made of, the apperance of a Sith should reflect the fact they are Sith.
And it is for that reason that, should I ascend, I will strive to project the fact I am a Sith of pureblood and high standing in every way I interact and present myself to the Empire and Galaxy at large.
How will my ´Phenotype´ help the Horuset powerbase, and how can i link it to my desired specialization or role?
To my understanding the Horuset powerbase prides itself on it's strong focus on strength, traditionalism and ensuring the Sith they produce are of 'proper stock' in both the strength in their blood and their usefulness to the Empire. The powerbase strives for perfection and enduring strength of the Empire.
And by having it's members understand and act to what their station commands it helps improve the image of our Dark Lord's powerbase in the Empire at large and also to invoke the proper fear and awe in the eyes of our enemies. The Horuset powerbase should stand as a shining beacon for what it means to be Sith in both internal politics and external conflicts. And the way it ensures this is by having all of it's members act as such 'shining beacons' of what it means to be Sith.
And that is, in essense, what I desire to be.. Sith. A powerful, influential Sith. And one can only gain power and influence in this powerbase, and Empire, by being a proper Sith. Ensuring I am a proper Sith in both actions and projection therefore goes a long way into securing my ambitions.
