A Twist of Identity

Mission Report - Operation A Twist of Identity, by Sith Aljo

The following report details the events occurred during the Operation “A Twist of Identity”. The party involved Apprentice Jen’kaar Vipion, Sergeant Hectio Srano, Acolyte Xuna Abaeir, and myself, Sith Aljo.

Previously I had researched what I could of Powerbases that antagonized House Horuset in the past, finding information about a Powerbase led by a certain Darth Vakrul, and gathered information on its high ranking officers and Sith.

Eventually, we selected as our target Captain Tayrone Geza’ar.
Each party member disguised themselves and took on a role. Jen’kaar Vipion took on the guise of a Sith by the name of Alyna Naktis, with me pretending to be her servant, Ylia. Sergeant Srano took on the name of ‘Sergeant Atom’.
Us three had to approach our target, while Acolyte Xuna had to find and approach the Forger.

Sergeant Srano and Apprentice Jen’kaar would approach and keep busy the Captain for long enough for me to take the ID, bring it to the Forger, and eventually return it to the Captain without him noticing.

On arrival, we noticed that the Captain’s usual lounge has been restricted to the members of the Vakrul powerbase. We make our way past the bouncers, while Acolyte Xuna has a hold of the Forger, but we are stopped right outside the elevator by the Captain himself. The party is, in fact, private, and the Captain is asked to escort us downstairs again.

On the elevator, Apprentice Jen’kaar pretended to accidentally drop wine on the Captain’s jacket, and after I blamed myself to stay in character as her servant, offering to wash the jacket, they played along and blamed “Ylia” for it.

I made my way out with the jacket I was “ordered” to clean, containing the ID of the Captain, as well as that of Major Ricko Salendin, and told to return it within a day. In this time, Apprentice Jen’kaar and Sergeant Srano kept up the act, while I made my way to the Forger, who agreed to copy both ID cards.

Acolyte Xuna helped persuade the Forger to lower his price, and once the copies were made, we all separately made our way back. In a day’s time the jacket, with both ID cards, will be returned to the owner by myself, disguised as the servant once more.
Both ID cards will be sent to Lord Kalkoran along with this report.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
