Knowledge of the Ancients.

Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"Throughout my time within the Horuset Powerbase, there has been a time, many an occasion, when we have sought the knowledge of the ancestors of old. Times when we have delved tombs, temples and ruins in search of what was once lost during the times of war and conflict that has seen our culture both thrive and die.
It has come to my attention due to an infilitrator that a smuggling ring on Dromund Kaas itself has come into possession of a Sith holocron of immense age. The holocron is being transported off-world via the spaceport, where it will be outside of my vision. Through any means required, recover the holocron and see it placed directly into my hands before the smuggling ring sees it lost for good.
The infilitrator has reason to believe that other smugglers and gangs will intend to intervene and take the holocron for themselves during the transfer of the holocron from the smuggling ring to their buyer. Whether merely the paranoia of the infiltrator or truth, remains to be seen."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: The planet of Dromund Kaas, the capital of our great Empire. The spaceport shall be the place where you will find the holocron mid-transit on its journey.
((I heavily recommend using the Hanger on Corellia that involves the 'Tears of Taris'. That way you have access to a hanger that any number of people can attend and are not constricted by a max of four from an instanced hanger. Its also out of the way of the main flow of players, giving privacy.))

The Holocron: The exact age of the holocron itself is unknown, but it has been recorded that it at least dates back to the time of the Golden Age of the Sith. When such Dark Lords as Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh were supreme. A pyramid by shape, and intricately designed across its surface, it is unknown who the holocron's gatekeeper is.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and no secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Recover the holocron, no matter the cost.
Primary Objective II: Bust the smuggling ring and ensure that they will not longer operate on Dromund Kaas.

Time Frame: The team will have 21 days to complete the task and see the holocron placed into the hands of Lord Kalkoran.
((The 15th of December will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a party size of no more than four will be required to see the holocron recovered and the smuggling ring busted.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
