Spoiler: Characteristics
- The very edge of the Empire, closer to Wild Space, and the major industrial hub on one end of the Tingel Arm.
- Known for it's major orbital shipyards that are split into three major stations, all now operated by the Horuset Powerbase.
- The surface is dusty and arid with the natives growing their food in underground agri-farms.
- The Tauril invasion has largely been recovered from, with the impact well managed with the assistance of the Horuset Powerbase.
- Sernpidal has a constant and ongoing media campaign through the Imperial Outreach Bureau, with the goal of the shipyard gaining public attention and other parts of the Sith Empire assisting where possible.
- The surface of Sernpidal is fundamentally unsustainable, with all agriculture and complex life existing in subterranean cave-farms. So dust-choked and barren is the surface that it never managed to evolve complex life beyond a point at which classification between flora and fauna cannot even be discerned. Even with subterranean farms fed by aquifers, Sernpidal is not able to produce enough food to sustain a population venturing even into the low millions, and thus is fundamentally less efficient to undertake any form of farming not using crops specially adapted for cave-dwelling, such as some fungi. In fact, to sustain its sizeable population the planet relies on consistent and sizeable imports of food and water from the Empire.

Spoiler: History
- Sernpidal joined the Sith Empire at the onset of the Great Galactic War alongside Belkadan and Ruuria. This saw a Republic Fleet trapped within Sith Empire lines and ultimately eliminated during the opening weeks of the resurgence of the Empire.
- Sernpidal during the Great Galactic War designed and is a primary producer of the B-5 Decimus Bomber used by the Sith Empire and named after Darth Decimus. The Bomber was outlawed as part of the terms of the Treaty of Coruscant due to it's use against less than fully militarised targets but with the breaking of the treaty has seen extensive use in the Galactic War, the War against Zakuul and the Third Galactic War.
- After the Conquests of the Eternal Empire saw the Sith Empire and the Republic paying tithes to the emergent faction, Sernpidal was near entirely stalled out due to it being far from the Sith Empire's heartlands and a refocused Empire ensuring that it's deeper territory shipyards received what few supplies remained.
- During the War against Zakuul, Sernpidal gained the attention of Lord Kalkoran and Lord Sanguinis from the Kalkoran Powerbase, alongside Lord Tokiai from the Vipion Powerbase. As a result, Lord Kalkoran devised a system to see the dilapidated shipyard become the crown jewel of the Horuset Powerbase as a way to ensure that the Empire was able to operate effectively in the north and ensure that the Powerbase remained both relevant during such chaotic times and unable to be ousted from their positions due to their importance to the war effort.
- An event now known as the 'Taurill Invasion' started with an asteroid heading for Sernpidal. The Horuset Powerbase landed on the asteroid with the intention to destroy it and divert the debris. Only partially successful, the planet was hit with debris and a Taurill infestation. Taurill roamed the planet, with the Horuset Powerbase both defending population centres and striking at the heart of the infestation in the caverns and ravines in which the Taurill made their home. After devising a way to see the Taurill Menace ended by rendering the creatures cut off from their hive, the Horuset Powerbase fought for control over a Communications Tower near the Taurill Nest to transmit the signal, which saw the death of Raeniu Vipion but the ultimate success of the mission. The Taurill menace ended when the Horuset Forces, killed the remnants within the Tauril Nest.
- Sernpidal was part of The Northern Territories Campaign that the Horuset Powerbase was forced into due to a fracturing Imperial frontline. The Campaign began with the Horuset Forces arriving just in time to force the retreat of a Republic Fleet that had made orbit of Sernpidal and was attempting to defeat the garrison flotilla and destroy the shipyards. The Horuset Powerbase then led the campaign from an outpost on Plooma, raiding several Republic planets with the impact of diverting all the resources back to Sernpidal and seeing the Republic stalled in the region for several months. Plooma became a planet known for it's role in defending Sernpidal.
- Sernpidal was travelled through by the Horuset Powerbase on their way to Orsus, a partial Ecumenopolis world that saw the Horuset Powerbase ensure the Sith Empire's hold on the region was maintained further.
- Sernpidal has since the Horuset Powerbase's tenue began, transformed from a dilapidated shipyard into one that has at times nearly reached it's output prior to the Conquests of the Eternal Empire. While there is always room to improve, Sernpidal has become the pre-eminent world of the Sith Empire in the north once again.
