Prelude
Dubrillion, a world in the Myto sector, was to the target of Horuset attention following the Battle for Plooma. It was chosen as high importance due to it's bearing on Sernpidal, being just a short distance away, it was seen to be a potential choke point against Republic strikes into the Imperial Northern Territories.
The world was a monarchy just over three years prior, roughly two years prior to the Dubrillion Campaign the Usurper-Empress Vaylin sacked the world and devestated much through an orbital bombardment. The King and his Loyalists fled, resulting in total anarchy. Neither the Empire or the Republic was in a situation at the time to seize Dubrillion, or to rebuild it's infrastructure. The remaining Noble population then took this time to fund the rebuilding of the world and feeding their people, amassing significant power in this time and formed regional governments.
Five rotations prior to the mustering of the Horuset Powerbase, the Republic 46th Sarapin Division made it past Imperial Navy elements in the Myto sector and the blockade around Dubrillion, thus launching a full ground assault. Some nobles showed allegiance to the Empire and resisted Republic forces, but were quickly wiped out. The Sarapin 46th made quick process with the capture of several key points and the deployment of logistical units to prepare the planet as a staging groung. Three rotations later and Darth Shaar, Lord of the Sphere of Civil Administration, managed a counter attack before her rivals, and authorised the landing of two Imperial Army brigades, each 7000 infantry strong. Carmine Brigade under the command of Colonel Bass Saline. Antoon Brigade under the command of Colonel Andecc Poncrab. The Imperial Occupational Force (OCFOR) faced significant resistance with an emboldend and well prepared Republic, with the support of locals. Each time OCFOR tested the Republic they were met with a stoic defence, causing more losses to OCFOR than the Republic. Darth Shaar then ordered the full mustering of the Kaas 142nd Division under the command of General Rackus Bastion and the supervision of the Darth Horuset. The objective given to Darth Horuset and General Bastion was not the control of Dubrillion but to instead deny its use to the Republic.
Mustering
Immediatly after word was received from Darth Shaar the Kaas 142nd prepared for combat deployment to an undisclosed location. All elements of the Horuset Fleet were pulled together to prepare for full transportation to the Dubrillion System, the Horuset Destroyer Fleet remaining at Sernpidal where it would meet with the primary fleet. Two rotations prior to deployment, the Sith of the Horuset Powerbase and the Conservancy of Darth Horuset were made aware of the situation.  The Horuset Powerbase would persue the Dubrillion Campaign, with the aid of OCFOR forces and the local assistance of Baron Salen Var Omad. Each was to prepare themselves mentally, or physically, and ensure any assets they could contribute to the campaign were ready for embarment onto Th'Asidra or any supplementary vessels. These included, but were not limited to: Fury-Class Interceptors, covert agents, auxillary war droids, and Sith War Beasts.
After boarding Th'Asidra, Lord Kalkoran and Sith Saltaeon met together to outline the starting strategy of the Campaign, with half a week journey to Sernpidal and another half week to the Dubrillion System. When at Sernpidal, the 14th Imperial Reserve Fleet consisted of Battle Group Caldera, Battle Group Kalakar, and the Horuset Destroyer Strike Group. Strike Group Ziost would remain at Sernpidal as a reserve and defence force, alongside the Logistics Flotilla.
Many Sith were assigned roles as determined by Lord Kalkoran and Sith Saltaeon, with the approval of Darth Horuset. Sith Kelsa was given the responsibility of orbital mapping, as well as monitoring the Horuset Listening Post. Sith Narazri and Sith Leive were to oversee the information and diplomatic networks required to work with the local nobles, with a focus on the neutral population rather than influencing the Republic alligned natives. Sith Leive also oversaw law enforcement with droid units. Sith Tarimra was permitted access to Var Omad's archives, to learn of information that may aid the war. Sith Sarias was ensure the constant flow of logistical supplies from Sernpidal to Dubrillion through Atrum Logistics.
Deployment
Arriving in system, Lord Kalkoran had forwarded a naval strategy to combat any Republic reistance in system. Dropping out of hyperspace near the orbit of Durbillion, ready to quickly reinforce OCFOR naval vessesls at once. Battle Groups Kalakar and Caldera were placed as flanking groups, with the Desttoyer Strike Group placed at the rear to act as core line reinforcements. After no Republic resistance was found Th'Asidra moved intio geostationary orbit. The Destroyer Strike Group left the system to begin a process of hyperlane patrols between Dubrillion and Sernpidal.

Horuset elements were to land at the Var Omad estate, several kilometers south of the major settlement Valadad City. In the etstate was primarily the Sith contingent, with over 20 Sith of various ranks and titles, enough to recreate the destruction of the Jedi Temple. Also in the estate was the food rations brough from Th'Asidra and Th'Akdura, enough for 16 months and 30,000 mouths at standard ration allocation. Sith Sarias was tasked with the import of further ration supplements for civillians.
A battalion was landed at first to occupy three camps built outside of the Var Omad estate, as well as extra forces deployed to the space port. Lord Kalkoran included in the prelimary battalion specialist forces such as Logistical and Communications units.

Operation Kerzyr
The first opposistion to Imperial forces was House Brrad, which was allegedly neutral in the war and yet denied Imperial progress through Barrad lands. After a short diplomatic effort was met with aggression, the choice was taken to subjugate Barrad under Imperial control. Opperation Kerzyr, or Spearhead, was drafted to force a rapid assault into Barad lands with four targets in mind. The refugee complex in the south, the communications relay, the Barrad estate, and establish a frontline near Valadad City. An Imperial contingent made up of an armoured spearhead and backed by Crawler artillery tanks would subjugate any resistance found at the refugee complex as well as holding the southern approach to communication relay, while a covert unit infiltrated the relay and took it from within. The primary assault unit crossed the southern gorge of the River Marla, almost exclusively made up of a rapid assault unit of Sith with Imperial armoured support units such as IB-CTs.
The Barad militia forces offered some resistance on the Marla crossing with the advantage of range and height, able to keep Sith at a distance with heavy weapons while the Imperial armoured units could not make full use of their weapons until the Sith had passed the crossing. Lord Kalkoran would rally Sith forces and push an intense assault that saw Sith cross into Barad lands while Imperial units followed. At this time the communication relay and all land south of it had already fallen to the lightning assault undertaken by the armoured spearhead. Lord Kalkoran had barely crossed the bridge when Barron Umral Barad offered a total surrender, allowing Imperial units to freely enter his lands and continue north to Valadad.
Hints of Betrayal
Barely after Barrad had surrendered did news reach Darth Horuset and General Bastion about arms and supplies going missing from Imperial Army depots. The immeidate suspect was one of the nobles allied to Var Omad rather than an Imperial rogue. Sith NArazri was dispatched to find the culprit at a summit with Var Omad, Garmon Pek, Shawn Glodmon, and Lady Deja Mason. The summit reached far into the night, but no culprit was found. In the light of hindsight, this is the event that lead to such horrific Imperial losses on Dubrillion.

This was further highlighed by an attack on the communications relay by armed militia using Imperial weaponry with organisted tactics. This came as a surprise to Imperial command as the attack came from within Barad lands. While the enemy was subjugated, it did lead to a new stage in the war with a second battalion being deployed in full and House Barad being placed under martial law with the oversight of Imperial soldiers.
Valadad City
The major city north of Barad lands and resting on the eastern bank of the Marla proved to be a sticking point for some time. The Republic had placed artillery units in the city under the cover of civillian protection and the command of Major Alan Kreese. The city represented a significant issue due it's major location, to move any amount of troops up the Marla on the easter side would require passing through Valadad. To move along the eastern bank allowed the defenders of Valadad to mount counter attacks on exposed rears and flanks. Valadad had to fall, and it had to be sooner than later.

The first point was a small holdout on the sourthern wall of the city. It was an easily defended posistion that could hold out for weeks if held. The Republic gave it to the militia instead of trained soldiers, and so when the Sith assaulted it became the first part of Valadad City to fall. This became known as Outpost Valadad-Besh, and allowed Imperial forces to have a post close to the southern gate of Valadad City, to prevent enemy forces from leaving without being noticed.
The next stage was named Operation Desh, it aimed to take the land directly opposite Valadad City across the Marla. The first assault was a two pronged attack that aimed to meet again in the middle. It was unfortunately repelled by an intense artillery barrage from Valadad City and a sudden counter attack with numbers not expected from the Republic.
Operation Desh was then undertaken a second time with slightly adjusted tactics. Instead of a two pronged assault, Imperials on the western most flank were instructed to hold ground and prevent counter attacks. The main assault would be on the bank of the Marla with a core of two Crawler tanks, protected by a Sith vanguard and armoured squadrons of ID-TDs. During the planning stages it became known that the Republic was already mounting their own offensive, so the Sith group was split, with a sizable portion being sent to the eastern bank of the Marla to hold the Republic's attention. Imperial forces under Sith Saltaeon advanced up the western bank using shock tactics from Sith to devestate infantry and ID-TDs and TB-CTs to target Republic armour. A bombing run from an air squadron of B-28 Bombers succuesfully hit the power generator unit that powered Valadad City, thus robbing them of their artillery and anti-air weapons. The Republic offensive was destroyed utterly and the western bank of the Marla was secured as far north as mountain tunnel into the Dakhan Valley. An assault posistion on Valadad City from the west and south was now available.
Lord Kalkoran lead the first full offensive into Valadad City from it's southern gate. The fighting in the urban environment was fierce and deadly, Imperials operating in close quarters against prepared Republic urban fighters and determined militia who had already laid traps. The southern half of the city was taken in gruesome fighting. Two rotations later, after soldiers were re-armed and ready for the fight, the assault continued. Major Kreese was assissinated just before the assault, leaving the Republic is confusion, and ready to fall before Imperial wrath. A two pronged attack along the outside wall, lead by Darth Horuset, and more urban fighting, lead by Lord Kalkoran again, saw the Republic forces left alive flew entirely, leaving the city to the Imperial victors as they retreated north into the hills.
Valadad City was fully under Imperial control, with little infrastructure damage, and no Imperial soldiers stationed inside the city. Law enforcement droids were deployed inside Valadad to oversee the local population, though no incidents ever arose. At this time, the Empire controlled fully half of the continent, with unknown Republic presences to the north of Valadad and to the west in Dahkan valley. More conflict would take place at Valadad, but with the city taken the Imperial command looked elsewhere.
Destruction of Antoon
While the Kaas 142nd pushed into Valadad City, Colonel Poncrab had grown impatient guarding the western mountains. During the assault he informed none of his intention to push Imperial territory even further, and lead his full command of Antoon Brigade north into the Dahkan Valley. It was not until a full rotation had passed that news of this move reached Darth Horuset's Conservancy.
A distress beacon was picked up on by the 142nd, moving to investigate Sith scouts found a valley with none occupying it where instead there should had been thousands. Further investigations lead to the Dahkan Tributary, with the bridge across it partially collapsed and clogged with wrecks of Imperial Armoured Tanks. Beyond the bridge lay the Dahkan Junction, littered with bodies of Antoon Brigade. All seven thousand infantry and support staff involved with the attack had died the prior rotation, with no other Imperial force on the planet becoming aware of what happened until it was too late. Colonel Poncrab was found hung from a tree, in an estimated revenge killing for Major Kreese.
Darth Horuset made the decision to remove the independant command of OCFOR, instead the Carmine Brigade would fall under the direct jurisdiction of General Bastion and his command. Colonel Poncrab would gain a place on the memorial after the war, but received no honours.
Before the battle site was fully investigated, a Republic fleet entered the Dubrillion system. All Imperial forces were called back to allocated outposts and Sith returned to barracks. the 14th Reserve Fleet was immediatly prepared to fight the enemy in space, to deny them the chance to land forces on the planet.
Republic Counterattack
A few short rotations after the destruction of Antoon and the arrival of the Republic fleet, the enemy pushed for a full counter offensive on the ground and in space. Lord Kalkoran moved to Th'Asidra to assume command of the battle in space. the Destroyer Strike Group was returned from patrols to join the battle line. Lord Iezkon commanded Th'Akudra while the full battle line prepared for the coming enemy fleet. Two rotations were all that was available until a full battle had to be commited to, and the assumption of a ground based assault to happen alongside the space battle.

As Lord Kalkoran waited in orbit for the coming fleet, army units prepared to assault the Republic and meet them in the field. In the two days before the attack it was noted that Republic counter intelligence drastically increased, with Jedi knights capturing Sith Apprentices who ventured too far from Imperial lines.

Army units were assembled to the hills west of Valadad City and on the northern defensive point, Marker 10, with tank and walker support along with a full 900 infantry assault force. As the Imperial force prepared to strike out north a Republic force descended on Valadad city with heavy armoured units and elite infantry. Full engagement was joined between Republic and Imperial forces at Marker 10 with Sith at the forefront. A tank engagement just north of the city saw almost all armoured units on both sides reduced to wrecks, partly blocking the northern roads. The north bound gate collapsed under long ranged fire, along with nearby buildings. The east facing city wall collapsed under heavy bombardment of a flanking Republic force, routed through the actions of some Sith apprentices and emergency action droids. In the aftermath of the battle at Valadad, over two hundred Imperial dead were counted, with at least eight hundred Republic dead, but unknown amounts of civilians died in the crossfire, and nearly three hundred battle ready droids were destroyed.
At the same time as the assault was the oribtal battle that Lord Kalkoran commanded. Three Harrower-Class Dreadnoughts and multiple Terminus-Class Destroyers engaged a star fleet consisting of four Valor-Class Cruisers and eight Thranta-Class Corvettes. During the line engagement, Lord Kalkoran took Th'Asidra and Th'Akudra out of geostationary orbit to apply pressure on the Republic fleet with a flanking wedge. During the line battle two Terminus-Class Destroyers from the Imperial Occupation Fleet were disabled, one went down in the southern ocean while the other crashed into the residential zone of Omad City, a non militarised zone that killed thousands in the resulting detonation. Captain Lucien Krypt and Captain Maceus Kage of the 14th Imperial Reserve Fleet were killed in action with the destruction of their ships, leaving their wreckage in orbit. As Th'Asidra moved out of geostationary orbit it became the target of an undeclared orbital ion cannon that disabled the Dreadnought and other swathes of the Imperial fleet, disrupting the battle long enough for the Republic ships to break the bloackade and pul into assigned posistions above Republic territory. Imperial ships could not engage the Republic due to the threat of the ion cannon, and Republic ships could not engage the Empire due to the threat of losing their only reinforcements. In the aftermath of the battle an unknown amount of Republic reinforcements landed planetside.

The Dahkan Valley
In the aftermath of the Second Battle of Valadad, scouting efforts north of the city continued but were met with increased resistance. As more scouts went missing in the mountains a more secure defensive line was established in the east while Imperial forces turned their attention west, into the Dakhan Valley. In a few days of silence, a small Imperial party moved into the valley and crossed the tributary, moving north to a watch tower. The small force was ambushed by Republic Commando operatives and repelled, with notable losses. Shortly after the initial push into the Valley there was a breach in Imperial signals with an unknown Republic officer, theorised to be Major Scyles, verbally assaulted Imperial ideals and started a new war of propaganda and slander. Under the threat of Republic infiltrators, new measures of martial law were put in place and long rang artillery and mortar units were allocated to Marker 10 at Valadad city. From this point until the end of the campaign the artillery units at Marker 10 engaged in constant bombardment of the hill sides north of Valadad city in a rotating pattern of high explosive and firebomb rounds. Millions of shells were fired, and slowly the Gargaro Plains and hills north of Valadad City were turned to crater filled hellscapes, every piece of plantlife burned to ash as the fires crept slowly more north into Republic land.
Three rotations later, Imperial forces began mustering at the entrance to the Dakhan Valley to push a full assault into the mountain path, mostly made up of Carmine Brigade from the Occupational Forces. A heavy infantry force supported with Crawler tanks moved into the mountains to assault the Republic fortress, getting as far as the outer walls before a stalemate settled into place. Despite intense fortifactions and defensive advantages the Sith were able to push up to the walls but no further, establishing an uneasy camp outside the walls in anticipation of a future assault. Four rotations later a Republic attack came during the night, pushing out of their fortress and into the defensive lines of Carmine in a rapid assault lead by elite jump units that engaged Sith while infantry surrounded Imperial army units. As winter reached Dubrillion, Imperial forces were pushed back from the possible Republic Army Command, Colonel Saline dead in battle with a large portion of his units with him.
OCFOR was disbanded and intergrated into the 142nd Division as Imperial forces now begin to move further west in the Dakhan Valley to find the assault a Republic outpost that had been acting as forward command post and prison for Imperial soldiers. The outpost was taken with a silent stealth mission lead by Lord Kalkoran and Sith Saltaeon. The Outpost was renamed as Comp Bortahkin and would serve as a staging point to move further west.

It was from here that an assault was staged on the Republic held Mandahkan City, with a strike team lead by Sith Arvanis moving through a mountain path to the south to assault from within while Sith Saltaeon lead an assault on the city gates. Imperial casualties were light as Republic forces were forced to fight in confusion and on two fronts, though a large of explosive dustruction damaged parts of the city as commanding officers fled, leaving their forces to die on the blades of Sith.
With Mandahkan City under Imperial control and a forward base in the form of Camp Bortahkin, Imperial strength was seemingly strong in both the Dakhan Valley and east of the Marla River as Valadad City commanded a road block across the Gargao Plains. What remained was the Republic fortress of Khardaba. Imperial Moff Mor-Vardin chose time to visit the Dubrillion System, intent on seeing the Republic fully denied access to Dubrillion. Darth Horuset herself lead an assault through the Gargaro Pass, and so Imperial forces surrounded the Republic on the northern and southern fronts.

The Battle of Khardaba
After two months of campaign, the final assault Republic holdings on Dubrillion was ready to be launched. Several thousand Imperial soldiers were prepared to assault Khardaba, to neutralise the ion cannon and capture General Willburg. Sith Arvanis and Sith Kelsa assaulted from the south, pushing towards the armoury and cannon control. Sith Narazri and Sith Saltaeon assaulted from the north, with the aim of securing the Republic Army Headquarters that had been identified. The first defences were breached by a Sith vanguard who quickly realised Khardaba was a repurposed city with tight urban streets and multiple layers of conflict with open windows and balconies. The main avenues became the primary battle ground, a slow offense pushing into the city centre with Sith forming a front line and Imperial fire teams not far behind. Within an hour the fighting had progressed to a slow moving quagmire of attrition, Imperial forces fighting with all their passion to gain mere feet of land.

As the Republic forces had been thinned, the command chamber for the ion cannon had been neutralised by Sith Arvanis and Sith Kelsa, with Sith Narazri and Sith Saltaeon moving to secure Army Headquarters. As the battle neared it's final beat the Republic showed their hand. Through bribery and corruption they had secured the loyalties of Dubrillion nobles, and with stolen weapons trained the civilians of Khardaba to hate their liberators. Civilian mobs rose up and entered the urban battle, threatening to cut Imperial forces off from escape routes through sheer numbers.
Lady-Major Deja Mason, the traitor not identified by Sith Narazri, had smuggled weapons away from the Empire and turned to Republic lies, along with many of here peers. The Lady-Major declared Dubrillion a Republic alligned world, then backed by Baron Shawn Glodmon, Lord Garmon Pek, and Baron Umral Barad. Faced with treachery on all sides, Imperial forces remaining in garrison locations put down rebellions as best as possible before assembling at landing zones to receive shuttles to the fleet in orbit.
Under the decision of Darth Horuset, Lord Kalkoran, Sith Saltaeon, and Moff Mor-Vardin the Imperial fleet moved into new geostationary locations. Each members of the Conservancy oversaw the retrieval of Imperial ground forces, and then the denial of area to Republic forces hoping they had won the battle. Darth Horused herself commanded the bombardment of Var Omad estate. Lord Kalkoran, the lands of House Barad. Sith Narazri, Valadad City. Sith Arvanis, Omad City. Sith Kelsa, Mandahkan City. Sith Saltaeon had Th'Kitsana open fire upon Khardaba, destroying most of the cities infrastructure and any commanding officers left inside.
Over the next rotation the 14th Imperial Reserve Fleet completed bombardment of known military and traitor locations, Moff Mor-Vardin declared the Dubrillion Campaign over, the world had been denied to the Republic and it's spirit broken. Results were satisfactory as it slowed the Republic advance drastically and denied them any convenient staging point to further in the Northern Territories. While remaining Republic ships fled the system, the Imperial Fleet made ready to return to Imperial space. In the year since the Dubrillion Campaign the system has been monitored, no major efforts to return to the system have been noted by the Republic, they appear to have abandoned it completely.

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
