Ability Sheet - Esme Roi

#1
Sith D'oemir

Spoiler: Art

In Character Information Summary:

Sith D'oemir or Esme Roi is an Orsian Born Sith in service to the Horuset Powerbase. She is an Apprentice and 'Shatajir' [Offical Heir] to the Lord Saltaeon who helms their internal Sphere of War. She is the Sith Commander of the Horuset Battle Group Tarimra and the Minister for Order for one of Orsus's key districts; District 75. She is a well-known figure on her homeworld, her efforts to revitalise Orsian Industry after the Imperial take-over, her deep connection to Orsus's history and her many populous rallying cries and public speeches and propaganda were immensely popular as an Imperial figurehead and respected by even those with a moderate stance. Though by contrast those who naturally detest the Empire, have come to see her as a face of all they despise, a traitor to the Orsian people and a puppet of a fascist regime.

Born on Orsus, she was declared deaf at birth and went to Kenrae, a school that catered to her needs. When war came to Orsus, she signed up with the Sons of Orsus Militia, one of the few Imperial Alligned Militia on the planet to fight alongside a joint campaign by House Axiom and House Horuset to seize the planet. There she found purpose as a Soldier and went on to serve in a specialised cavalry regiment. There she was promoted to Specialist, and eventually discovered for her talent in the force, sent to Korriban, she eventually joined House Horuset. There she served under her given name, Esme Roi, as both a Sith Apprentice and Neophyte, during this time, she recreated the Sons of Orsus Guard, a militia unit designed to train the population up, to encourage entry into the Imperial Army, built the Roi's Redeemers a Construction Conglomerate to help rebuild parts of Orsus destroyed during the last campaign and seized various factories and a spaceport in various land grabs across the planet.

In the Second Battle of Orsus where her most well-known speech was given, she rallied the Sons of Orsus and many others across the planet to resist the Republic's Counterattack. As she broke through the Republic's orbital position and launched a full defence of the planet, across the ground. There she was proclaimed by Lord Saltaeon as Sith D'oemir and has since then, been inducted as the Minister of Order for her District, with rumours spreading about her dream to seize higher and higher positions in the planetary governance, there have also been chatter and footage of her and an Apprentice of her Master, Mathangi Ryam assaulting several 'Middle Army Monastries', these reclusive monks orginate from the time of old Orsus, a time which Esme has promised many times, to bring back to life.

Character Stories:
This is a collation of works related to Sith D'oemir. None of these are available IC and serve solely to help give insight into her internal perspective.

[The First Days]
[A collection of stories (around 6 Chapters) from her background, taking her from her youth, all the way through being a Militiaman, to Imperial Soldier and concluding with her Acolyte entry into House Horuset. They explore who she was and how she became the Acolyte I started with.]

[The Next Day]
[Sith Tarimra, her first and her most revered Master died in an assassination by Sith Zarchas. A Sith who captured and tortured her into swearing not to stand against him and in the shadow of that most important and defining death. She struggles with the harsh reality of losing someone she respected immensely and the mounting reality of her continuous failures, despite her successes and developing a nihilistic perspective on the world around her, and falling into deep depression and her first plunge truly, into the dark side.]

[The Life Day]
[Neophyte Esme Roi finally drags herself back with a renewed commitment to her fallen Master, retaining her commitment as his Apprentice, even beyond death by paying off a childhood debt to Krassus Horuset, his brother and teaching the next generation of Sith about him, declaring that her purpose. All set on Orsus's Life Day, which by her and the Empire's actions has been outlawed and stamped down upon, which she both celebrates and laments.]

[The Silent Day]
[Apprentice Roi led the Sith's Warriors on Anx Minor, in the name of her new Master, the Lord Saltaeon as apart of a Powerbase-wide campaign. In an effort to remove the civilian population as a factor, they genocided the people of the city of Mosila. Many of whom she personally had counted and overseen. The numbers are too high and the guilt too strong, all set on the background of ITEC, an Imperial Company, mining the planet for its resources by means of nuclear fire, interrupting her moment of solace in a room belonging to some of those who once lived there.]

[The Scarred Day]
[Esme Roi is broken up with by her partner of many years and love of her life, Rekhen. In anger and in the face of his perceived apathy to their relationship, refusing a clear answer of why, she ultimately challenges Rekhen to a duel and is ultimately victorious, but receives a dire wound in the process. In the medical bay after, she discovers that he'd cheated on her with the alien, Sith Leive and in insulting her loses her foot as a consequence. There she commits to remembering her scars, both physical and emotional and ultimately decides that this is a wound that'll never be fixed and that her hatred is now absolute.]

[The Victory Day]
[Esme Roi ascends as Sith D'oemir after the Second Battle of Orsus and refuses to abandon her identity as a Daughter of Orsus and her seemingly undying love for her home. Nor how she feels about those beneath her command, defining that passion is the root of the Sith and to abandon that feeling, to give into apathy would make her alike those she detests.]

Ongoing Crisis
War in the Northern Territories

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

"The Northern Territories shift under the weight of changing times. With the passage of the ICOT, internal strife amongst Imperial Forces in the North has lessened - though never abated. Although the momentum of the Republic has not yet been met entirely, fortification efforts and victorious naval campaigns have evened the footing at least slightly. Eyes align on systems such as Vykos, Nam'ta and Orsus to see how this proceeds.."

((OOC: The Balance of Power system has begun! Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state at the start of the next war arc will determine how strong the Republic will be in the area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
