Overview

The Division of Medical Enhancement of the Horuset Sphere of Advancement is the central body responsible for advancing medical capabilities, improving battlefield survivability and ensuring the continued operational effectiveness of Imperial personnel, currently operating under the authority of Sith Zasa. Its purpose is to reorganize and expand medical infrastructure within the Horuset Powerbase, preparing it for extended deployments, prolonged conflicts and increasingly demanding operational environments, all whilst operating alongside the Sphere of War and Sphere of Resurgence, ensuring that medical support is well integrated.

The division coordinates across medical staff, research teams, combat personnel and supporting spheres to:

• Expand and modernize existing medical facilities
  
• Increase production and storage capacity of medical supplies
  
• Integrate combat medics and medically capable personnel into operational structures
  
• Organize, establish and oversee forward medical units, triage centers and expeditionary medical facilities during military deployments
  
• Develop advanced cybernetic augmentation capabilities
  
• Establish dedicated medical research and development programs
  
• Improve casualty recovery and battlefield survival rates
  
• Maintain readiness for extended deployments and warzone operations
  

The ultimate objective of the Division of Medical Enhancement is to ensure that personnel lost to injury, exhaustion or battlefield trauma are given every opportunity to return to service, while providing the Empire with the medical superiority required to sustain prolonged campaigns.

A stronger Empire requires soldiers capable of surviving the battles it wages.

Structured into three primary offices, each led by a specialist responsible for maintaining medical advancement, research progression and operational readiness, these branches form the foundation of the Division and report directly to the Head of the Medical Enhancement.

Medical Operations Office

The Medical Operations Office is responsible for the direct management, expansion and improvement of Horuset medical infrastructure. Its primary purpose is ensuring that medical support remains available for both routine operations and extended military deployments.

The division oversees the expansion of existing medbay facilities, training of additional medical personnel and creation of strategic reserves of medical supplies. It will integrate Imperial combat medics, Sith trained in medical techniques and other medically capable personnel into an organized structure, ensuring that battlefield treatment remains accessible when and where it is required. Beyond conventional treatment, this office maintains records of Sith capable of healing sorcery and evaluate their capabilities for situations where traditional medical procedures are insufficient. It will also establish protocols for triage centers, temporary medical facilities and emergency medical deployments during prolonged campaigns.

The Head of Medical Operations serves as the overall director and authority of the department. They are responsible for establishing priorities, coordinating all branches and ensuring the division achieves its objectives in support of the Horuset Powerbase and the wider Empire.

Cybernetics Office

The Cybernetics Office is responsible for the research, development and implementation of advanced cybernetic augmentation. Its purpose is to ensure wounded personnel, Sith and military assets retain their effectiveness through technological restoration and enhancement. This includes cybernetic limbs, artificial organs and other advanced technologies designed both to restore injured personnel and to provide new capabilities for those requiring enhanced battlefield performance.

The office will develop through three primary stages: establishing research teams and specialized laboratories, acquiring dedicated facilities and finally developing the resources, tooling and infrastructure required for large-scale cybernetic production.

The Head of Cybernetics oversees all cybernetic research, development and production efforts. Their responsibility is ensuring the Powerbase maintains access to advanced augmentation technologies and remains at the forefront of medical enhancement.

Research & Development Office

The Research & Development Office serves as the foundation for medical innovation and advancement. It is responsible for expanding Imperial medical knowledge, managing specialist research teams and transforming theoretical developments into practical applications.

The office will establish dedicated research teams across various medical fields, supported by specialized laboratories and facilities. Initial priorities include developing the organizational structure, recruiting specialists and creating the infrastructure required for continued advancement. Additionally, it will support intelligence efforts regarding Republic medical technology, equipment and research priorities. Information gathered through cooperation with other Imperial spheres will be utilized to improve Imperial medical capabilities, identify vulnerabilities and anticipate opposing advancements.

The Head of Research & Development directs medical research initiatives, manages specialist teams and oversees the expansion of Imperial medical knowledge. They ensure discoveries are converted into practical capabilities capable of supporting Imperial personnel.
