Operation: Riots on Bnar

#7
To: Apprentice Ronith
From: Acolyte Xarnait
Subject: Bnar Riots

Four personnel arrived to deal with the rioters; Neophyte Charace, Apprentice Amara, Specialist Xogram and myself. The rioters at ground zero were assaulting the main compound with molotov grenades and spears. We dealt with the rioters outside the main base of Imperial operations with little issue; Neophyte Charace using saberstaff and Force to great effect, Apprentice Amara cutting down those whom approached, and Specialist Xogram using imperial-standard grenades and blaster rifle. I obeyed directions given to me, supporting whilst not getting in their way. It was noted that the rioters seemed strangely coordinated, though this aided them little against our might.

When we pressed on into the base, the corridors were lined with corpses both rioter and imperial. We reached the command centre where Lt. Greaves and his team was trapped. After dealing with the remaining rioters in the corridors, we were told that they were being supplied from a vault further in the compound, and that there was an iktotchi whom was a Republic SIS agent that was organising the uprisings. Specialist Xogram accessed the nearby computer terminal with his technical skills to identify the Republic intruders further in. Apprentice Amara took charge and gave orders for us to pursue, while Neophyte Charace stayed behind to deal with the remaining rabble outside [dropped due to OOC issues].

The corridors deeper in the base were many and twisting, though I was able to Sense which direction we needed to go and therefore were able to catch up to the enemy. Apprentice Amara used her stealth generator to sneak up on our opponents, and Specialist Xogram used a grenade to get the drop on them before the fight. There were three heavy-duty droids, a male soldier and the female SIS specialist. With our combined skills in combat, we were able to subdue and capture them without serious injury to ourselves.

Glory to the Empire.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
