I failed. I failed myself and my family. I failed the Dark Lord of Horuset and her Apprentice. I disappointed myself. I disappointed my family. I disappointed Darth Horuset and Darth Audroti.
Yet, this Trial is just one among many. The task apprentice Arvanis gave me is yet to be fulfilled; I will become the Dark Lord’s Apprentice, even if through other means than impressing the Dark Lord through the official trials. Indeed, many ways that lead to ascension. I shall need to take the road less travelled, and while it may be frowned upon by the House, I shall need to venture out into Sith Politics, and for myself create a network I can rely on even as an Apprentice and beyond.
