Operational Report: The Equanus Patrol
Participating: Apprentice Rhysand Sekker, Acolyte Charace Vulker
Operation Primary objective: Intercept and board a cargo hauler belonging to the Orbanat Coporation.
Operation Secondary objectives: Find and secure package FM-45 and do so without killing or harming the crew of the vessel
Report:
Apprentice Sekker and Acolyte Charace boarded the Sotizi, second Terminus for strike group Tarimra and took position upon the bridge to monitor communications between the Sotizi and the vessels that the Terminus intercepted.
The first vessel intercepted was a private civilian vessel belonging to one Zytho Dowd, a citizen of Equanus, who was visiting family. A scan of the vessel revealed four passengers and no weapons with vessel registration checking out in Imperial records. Apprentice Sekker asked Acolyte Charace for their input and he recommended that the ship be allowed passage, Apprentice Sekker agreed and the ship was allowed on it’s way.
The second vessel intercepted was an old cargo hauler belonging to one Lina Van’dai, scans showed that the vessel contained two life forms however the clearance code that was given was twenty five years out of date. A review of the cargo manifest revealed that it was carrying agricultural materials from Orsus. The vessel was allowed to pass by Apprentice Sekker, but with an advisement to update their clearance codes.
After thirty minutes a third vessel arrived in system under the ownership of one Zig Cadan prime owner of a venture named ‘Sublime Silk’. A proper clearance code was provided however the vessel contained fifty individual lifeforms, which the owner claimed were his friends, while the cargo was clearly marked as textile supplies. Both Apprentice Sekker and Acolyte Charace suspected smuggling efforts were being undertaken, probably cheap slave labour, and a decision was made to board the vessel.
Upon boarding the vessel Apprentice Sekker and Acolyte Charace were met with a Zeltron identifying themselves as Zig Cadan. Apprentice Sekker immediately took control of the vessel and ordered a review of the manifest while ordering Acolyte Charace to secure Tenel the co-pilot of the ship. After securing the vessel, Apprentice Sekker determined that the smuggling going on was unrelated to the operation and the boarding party returned to the Sotizi. The vessel was allowed to carry on it’s journey though Apprentice Sekker ordered that the correct authorities be notified of the vessel’s activities.
The final vessel was a large cargo hauler under the ownership of the Orbanat Corporation, it was quickly decided to board despite no reference to the Cargo FM-45. The boarding party were met by the captain a Human named Sykar Smit and armed guards. Apprentice Sekker immediately seized the ship an act that caused some tension with the armed guards however Captian Smit decided not to attack two Sith purebloods while under the guns of a Terminus and surrendered the ship for the boarding parties inspection. Acolyte Charace conducted a brief inspection of the vessels cargo hold however was unable to find anything relating to FM-45. Apprentice Sekker applied more pressure to the Captain and eventually they led the boarding party to where FM-45 was hidden amongst the rest of the cargo. Upon this discovery Apprentice Sekker ordered the Sotizi’s crew to secure the ship and hold the ship until further notice and the pair departed with primary objective complete.
