Priority Aurek: Acquisition - Sith Sarias

The hologram flickers to live, revealing the uniformed figure of a short woman with a devious, cunning look in her pale grey eyes. She clears her throat and introduces herself as ‘Director Faux’ of the H.I.D. Not wasting anymore time on niceties or introductions, the agent unlocks her datapad and begins her briefing:

"Sith Sarias, my Lord. When our contacts in the capital presented us with this opportunity, it was quickly realised that you were one of the few Sith in the powerbase that could reliably complete this task. In Kaas City proper, a Sith Lord by the name of ‘Ascolon’ has a private, high-end academy of Force Sensitive students from the upper echelons of Imperial society. The Academy takes the shape of a university, more so than a traditional Sith Academy. As a result, their curriculum puts a far larger emphasis on theoretical knowledge than what you might be used to. According to our contacts, Lord Ascolon bases most of his lectures on an old Sith Codex, the writer of which is unknown to us. What matters is that we have a buyer for this codex. The credits earned will go linea recta to Sernpidal. This is where you come in, my Lord. Upon accepting this mission, the H.I.D. can ensure you receive an invitation as guest lecturer on Alchemy. Your primary mission once inside is to secure the Sith Code and extract safely. How you play the cards you are dealt is up to you. Good luck. Faux out."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: Dromund Kaas - Private Sith Academy of Lord Ascolon in the Kaas City center.

((OOCly: A nice Stronghold will do the trick, regardless of where it is. If something like this is not available, the Citadel could suffice provided a proper lecture hall and location for the Codex is found.))

Focal point extra information: If you are confident you will not be caught, your true identity and that of your apprentices might be preferable to a fake one to avoid slipping up. If a fake identity is preferred by you, we can provide you with faked credentials.

Objectives: In this task there is but one primary objective, and one secondary objective.

Primary Objective I: Secure Lord Ascolons’ Sith Codex and extract it.

Secondary Objective I:  Keep a low profile. Do not start an open fight in the Capital

Time Frame: The team will have two months until the next period starts at the Academy, and the request for guest lecturers is invalid.
((The 18th of September will be the deadline!))

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
