The hologram flickers to live, revealing the uniformed figure of a short woman with a devious, cunning look in her pale grey eyes. She clears her throat and introduces herself as ‘Director Faux’ of the H.I.D. Not wasting anymore time on niceties or introductions, the agent unlocks her datapad and begins her briefing:
"As briefed by the Dark Lord of Horuset and Lord Kalkoran, I present to the Powerbase a list of missions that have the highest of priorities towards completion. The Horuset Powerbase's Listening Post has been busy with ensuring that we have up to date information on each of the missions listed below and that all available information is present within. The objectives of each mission vary, but they purpose towards supporting the Horuset Powerbase through Sernpidal is Universal. I am Director Faux, and this is what the Powerbase has planned.
Assault based missions are offensively minded combat missions. Their objectives vary, but they are intended for combative Sith with the objective being anything from high risk rescue missions, raiding hostile convoys to the eradication of enemy installations. Assault based missions require careful planning and spheres suited towards such roles and the missions have been assigned as such.
Protection based missions are defensively minded combat missions. Their objectives range from protecting bases, travel routes to individual highly importation personnel. Protection based missions have required those with unwavering loyalty and resolve and have been assigned out to those spheres that have shown considerable amounts of both.
Extortion based missions require a mixture of subterfuge and heavy handed tactics. They're often towards the goal of blackmailing or intimidating a target towards getting what the Powerbase wishes through various underhanded efforts. Extortion missions are often used to get a hold over once rival held positions where like minded thinking and open diplomacy have already failed or would be unsuitable to attempt.
Subterfuge based missions rely heavily on stealth and secrecy and investigation. Spying, assassinations and counter-efforts against both all fall under subterfuge and the Powerbase has been assigned out a small number of missions for those who have been noted as capable of successfully accomplishing these difficult tasks.
Acquisition based missions, are straightforward. However it is done, the goal is as simple as getting to a location through any means required and commandeering the resources, items, or technology that is within. Such missions are the most varied and most numerable for it and can be anything from uncovering lost technology to hijackings to sanctioned theft."
Soldiers of the Powerbase, Neophytes, the proactive, Household Sith, Lords of the Sith and even the Dark Lord herself have been assigned as mission heads. Such missions are intended to be the first stage of more to come, with the upper echelons of the Conservancy providing these missions for the Powerbase and after they are completed, the Powerbase in turn continuing the trend by finding their own missions in a similar vein to complete. This is Director Faux, signing off.
