Operation Report: A Storm Gathers (Pt. I)
In the beginning, coordinates sent us to an asteroid field. There were two signals that we could detect, a stationary one out West and one on the North. Upon utilizing Force Sense, I could detect that the Western one was of a single, very large entity. For this reason, we first went to investigate the Northern one, thinking it was our target. Unfortunately, it appeared to be just a wreckage. At the same time, another signal was felt, a smaller one, heading towards the single large one towards the West. We hurried towards it, realizing that it was indeed our target, hidden behind an asteroid that most likely housed an exogorth. The pilots proposed we ambush them through the single large hole going through the asteroid, but knowing better I ordered them to approach from above. Capture was successful and the ship was boarded swiftly. There were no casualties among the ship's crew or our team, except some light injuries. The Ensign on board informed me that they had called for reinforcements but when they arrived, I convinced her to call them off, bluffing that I would awaken the sleeping exogorth (something I cannot do, of course). Her only request was that the crew is not harmed, something I hope you can honour.
