Feeding the War Machine II

#6

Feeding the War Machine II - Mission Report

Mission Objectives:
Primary Objective I: Prevent the prisoner rescue
Primary Objective II: Secure the facility
Secondary Objective I: Execute the prisoners

Mission Participants:
Apprentice Mayaz
Sergeant Kienix
Specialist Codri
Acolyte Krixxus

Mission Report:

The camp was found in a sorry state, an Ensign who flaunted protocol in blatant distrust of his men. Whilst Apprentice Mayaz questioned the Ensign on the execution's procedure I identified a guard outside who wore ill fitting armour and radiated anxiety, when pressed they could not present an Imperial ID and wore a broken slave collar under their ill-fitting armour.

Ensign Valik's co-operation was secured when his multiple failings for Imperial protocol:
- Wearing a cape, which is a uniform accessory not accessible to Ensigns
- Failing to address Sith properly
- Failing to implement the most basic security protocols, slaves with stolen armour and no ID were able to infiltrate a guard post outside his office

When threatened with demotion and relocation to the front lines the Ensign co-operated fully and transferred control of base security to myself. Soldiers were ordered to remove their helmets and droids, along with verified soldiers, began a sweep of all soldiers in the camp. Disrupting some of the rebel's attempts by identifying infiltrators. It was at this point where Apprentice Mayaz moved to inspect the execution proceedings for security threats.

An attack on the base was led by two imposters, but the revolt leader had infiltrated Ensign Reena's guard and she was killed. Apprentice Mayaz quickly captured Ori Von, the rebel leader, and turned him over to the remaining camp security. Specialist Codri secured the assault walker as the pilot had been replaced by a rebel infiltrator. I organised a defensive line against the rebel attack and led the charge, preventing any further slaves entering to disrupt the continued execution. Sergeant Kienix held the shuttle and kept it secure against rebels who wished to capture it.

I suggest that Ensign Valik retains his position as head of the camp as I believe his loyalty has been secured, he will serve Horuset interests on the fear that his failures will lead to a reallocation to the front lines and regular performance checks will ensure his standards do not fall again.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
