Details of Operation:
Myself and Apprentice Latom took to the stage at the rally. I coordinated the Military Police into two groups, which Acolyte Zarkang assisted on the ground as the march began.
I gave my opening addressal to the Orsian people, before passing the stand to Apprentice Latom. I surveyed and coordinated with Acolyte Zarkang from above. I singled out a pro-Republic troublemaker in the crowd who was trying to instigate a fight, and with a subtle mental offensive in the form of a Fear cast I forced him to wither away from the crowd, leaving him to shout that those around him were monsters. The conflict ended without significant body harm or altercations beyond a couple of punches and some loose clutter in the form of thrown bottles or fruits. Acolyte Zarkang on the other hand ensured that instigators did not provoke him and restrained in excessive violence, however he repulsed an amicably-minded attendee once he stepped towards the Military Police line to ask for medical aid for the rest of the marchers. This in turn alienated and aggravated him, undoing a great deal of goodwill and squandering the potential for more recruits.
Overall this was a mixed reception: while we are certain to earn some sign-ups, we could have earned more should a more gentle hand been exercised and their dependence acted upon to foster further amicability. No major injuries or accidents occured, and bloodshed was successfully avoided despite the tensions.
The military police deployed tear gas and stun bolts to quel any remaining aggressive vagrants, and damage to the surrounding area was minimized effectively.
