Entry 6: Her Betrayal
The cyan blue projection flickers into life, a shirtless Pureblood sitting with most of his upper body bandaged. His hair loose, messy in an extremely uncharacteristic way, his eyes even burning with less passion. His voice sounding disinterested, almost without purpose. Gaze averted from the camera.
"Oh what a fool I was, I fell for a pretty face and a warm voice."
Shaking his head he sighs deeply, still looking away from the camera as he continues.
"I should have known better than to trust, I'm the top Acolyte and my enemy still breathes. Of course plots would form to bring me down. And out of everything, it was the most innocent appearing of things that brought me down... love."
Then the young Pureblood raises his chin, looking directly into the eyes of the viewer. The fires that once burned behind his eyes re-ignite and his voice grows more commanding and purposeful.
"But I've had time to reflect, time to learn from my failures. Amythia made a fatal mistake, she chose love over strength. She chose the one who coddled her over the one who was harsh in order to turn her into the Sith she could one day become. Her failure is fundamental, in the end she was weaker than Feyara... and she disappeared during her trials."
Leaning forwards from his position he grimaces, clearly still somewhat injured, but as he does so he breathes deeply. Fist at his side clenching.
"They made their final mistake, they failed to kill me and revealed their cards. Three versus one, and they still failed. And now I'm coming for them; I will become Lord Saud's Apprentice and be remembered, their names won't even make the history books. I'll make sure of that..."
With that he raises his hand, and the recording flickers and closes.
