Ritual Overview
Assembling in the Force Ruins, Sith Vipion had previously established (or was in the process of establishing) a Ritual Circle for the Rite of Scrying to be performed, consisting of several Protection Circles. Apprentice Sekker and I arrived at the Ruins while this was ongoing, and soon entered the traditional meditative positions, forming a triangular pattern with Sith Vipion, both seating ourselves at the edge of the Ritual Circle, where Sith Vipion was placed at the centre.
Over the next few hours, Apprentice Sekker and I began the process of reaching Ansi Niti; once this was reached, we opened ourselves up via Soti Asarsi, and the ritual began in full. Taking the energy provided, Sith Vipion began focusing on the doll, drawing the energy provided by myself and Apprentice Sekker as Siphons into herself to focus on the doll and begin Scrying. This resulted in several visions, detailed below.
Vision I — Adaption of the Doll
In the first vision, we witnessed firstly Sithspawn Q162 (colloquially referred to as the Quiet Speaker, Black Brother, and A Lamentation) shaping a shard of metal into a pseudo-sabre staff to be attached to the doll it was adapting, after having taken the doll itself from Lora Thelin. It attempted this multiple times until success, proving the creature is driven enough to pursue its goals, whatever such may be.
Once Sithspawn Q162 finished the doll (the saber staff seemed to be the last piece), it chuckled wetly, almost in satisfaction, glee, or joy. This indicates a measure of attachment to Sith Vipion, who, it is now realised, had been pregnant throughout her encounters with the creature. It is possible that Sithspawn Q162 found itself attached to her for this particular reason, considering its occasionally toddler-like mindset.
Following this, it should be noted that several emotions floated into ‘view’ in answer to the following inquiries into the motivation of Q162’s creators in creating it. These included but are not limited to hatred, arrogance, spite, and malice. Arrogance, in the sense of (racial) supremacy, in particular, appeared especially prominently.
Vision II — Creation of Q162
Following the prior Vision, Sith Vipion decided to push deeper; a decision that proved costly, though it resulted in additional information gained. We saw, primarily, around ten figures in general Sith attire (of which more detail might have existed, though this was unclear), standing in a ritual circle (though no runes were visible, these are assumed), within what has now been termed the ‘flesh room’ of Outpost Q162. The figures were standing on more than a hundred corpses (unmerged at this point), with a Keshiri Sith impaled on a spike above the group, at the centre of the chamber.
Following this, we saw the ritual begin. Chanting began, though the words were unintelligible through the vision, and the Keshiri Sith impaled began to wither alike in Force Drain, its vitality and Presence in the Force ripped out from it and released into the room, under the command and control of the assembled Sith. It left the impression as if they were attempting to turn the Keshiri Sith into a Dark Side Apparition. Next, Sorcerous burns began appearing on the corpses on the ground and on which the Sith were standing, slowly beginning to merge into one creature, as if the flesh was knitted together like through Tnimi or greater healing magics. The Sith conducting the ritual were not absorbed into this mass of emergent flesh. It is at this point that certain facial features and details became apparent on the Sith conducting the ritual; they were Sith Purebloods, all.
Within the Flesh Room, the divot in the centre of the mass of flesh turned sloshy and became a thick, viscous black liquid, and the bones of the bodies at the edge began breaking and snapping, shifting instead to be monstrous teeth. This created the many mouths of Sithspawn Q162, even as the rest of the bodies were transfigured into muscle and general flesh. The Force Presence of the Keshiri Sith was forced into this emergent creature, and it can be presumed that such became the ‘spirit’ or ‘soul’ of Sithspawn Q162.
In the physical world, the ritual now began taking its toll on us: purple smoke began rising from our skin, quickly followed by Sorcerous burns as Sith Vipion pushed deeper. This led to what can be described as a partial third vision, though it is unclear if such was indeed the case. It is also now that Sith Vipion pushed deeper than she should.
Vision III — Other Presences
Something took a hold of Sith Vipion from within her, not related to the ritual itself, and she pushed far deeper than she should have; with costly consequences. This technically was not a vision at all, rather a sequence of feelings and impressions shown through the Rite of Scrying.
It began with a pull from Sith Vipion, pulling us into metaphorical ‘darkness’, far beyond where we should have stopped Scrying. She was deaf and blind to any calls to stop; presumably too deep into meditation to hear. In this darkness, the first thing we felt was a ‘link’ between Sithspawn Q162, the Quiet Speaker, and two others (presumably linked to the star-charts now projected by the crystal from Greypost, showing Rhelg and Korriz). Next, we felt an extremely powerful Presence ‘looking’ at us, as if an eye lazily turned to look at something insignificant. What this is, is unknown.
On the material plane, we experienced significant effects from pushing too deep; eventually, Apprentice Sekker and I managed to reach Sith Vipion, who pulled back as if stepping through a doorway, ending the ritual. While this was ongoing, we began feeling the consequences of the ritual in full; the purple smoke grew thicker and more present, and blood vessels began bursting. Soon, the same black, viscous liquid began pouring from our eyes, hardening immediately upon touching anything. Additionally, the Protection Circles broke and were overpowered; and the floor underneath Sith Vipion cracked in a spiderweb-like pattern.
It is at this point that the ritual ended, and Sith Vipion’s water broke; the birth began. Whether or not this is a consequence of the Ritual or merely Sith Vipion’s biology is unclear and up for debate.
Conclusion
From this ritual, several key pieces of information were uncovered and other theories were confirmed or debunked. The first is that the vessel of the Sithspawn was created through Sith Alchemy, though its spirit was bound to it via Sith Sorcery; likely a Bind Force Apparition or even Bind Higher Apparition spell/ritual.
Additionally, it is now confirmed how the creature was created: from the corpses of the gathered anti-Imperial dissidents as uncovered in the deployment to Outpost Q162 (refer to UPDATE: SITH TARIMRA #2, Report: Deployment to Outpost Q162). This fully debunks the theory of Apprentice Sekker that the creature was created from a child.
Furthermore, it possibly debunks the theory that there is an ongoing ritual within Outpost Q162, though it is clear in full now that Sithspawn Q162 was created through an extensive ritual, of which we now know the structure.
