Scouting Report
Purpose:
Following the assault on Outpost Q126 yesterday, in which I was unable to participate, I felt that it would be useful to my own research and perspectives to visit several of the prominent locations of this conflict myself; to potentially unearth any information missed by previous teams or gain new insights and theories that may prove useful. In all of these, I was successful.
First Location: Greypost / School Complex / MedbayAs this was my first time visiting Greypost, I decided to take my time and move slowly through the village, so as to gain some insight into what the other members of the first expedition felt; deciding to retrace the footsteps of the IRS agents, I went into the school complex which the agents (known to be members of the group of interest, Witnesses of Lament) gained access to.
Once inside I found much the same as has been described in previous visits to the school - three classrooms, one laid out normally with the symbol of the blood-eye drawn on the board and smiling faces drawn on all the desks; one containing an Imperial camp; and the final containing some sort of alter.
Within the alter-room, I recovered a scrap of pink cloth, which I believe most likely came from an article of child’s clothing. Upon dismantling the alter (comprised of shaped stones) I uncovered several undamaged runes; each pertaining to empowerment (transcribed in this report).
Exiting the School, I decided to check one of the other notable buildings in the area; the medical bay, from which several reports were gleaned that aided the initial investigation. Upon entry, I discovered a standard T2 series Imperial Medical droid, destroyed via lightsaber. Within the droid’s chassis, I found its memory core to be intact, and have carefully removed it for future study by Sith Tarimra (who has offered the use of the Archives) and Sith Vipion (whose expertise pertaining to both medical droids and medicine, in general, will be of great help) as well as myself.

Second Location: Black-Sands Village
After departing Greypost, I decided to re-visit what remains of Black Sands village; on my first visit there, there were still living examples of victims of the Quiet speaker going about the business of ‘feeding’ animals in pens; their food stocks had run dangerously low, however, and the animals were beginning to starve. The animals are now deceased, with no sign of where the human population has gone.
I was drawn to a house with a depiction of a smiling face drawn over the door - the same abode in which Sith Vipion found a single missing doll from among a child’s collection - the doll which has now been modified to resemble Sith Vipion herself. Within, I found information pertaining to the identity of the child who resided there, one ‘Lera Thelin’.
It was my belief at this point that the Sithspawn designate Q-126 “Quiet Speaker” may have been transmogrified from the physical body of the child Lera Thelin by the ritual observed by Sith Zarchas in his scrying; I reached out to the Arcane Nexus to have this corroborated.
Third Location: Outpost Q-126 (Outskirts).I was drawn to a house with a depiction of a smiling face drawn over the door - the same abode in which Sith Vipion found a single missing doll from among a child’s collection - the doll which has now been modified to resemble Sith Vipion herself. Within, I found information pertaining to the identity of the child who resided there, one ‘Lera Thelin’.

While awaiting confirmation, I decided to put my new theory to the test and traveled to Outpost Q126, careful to remain a safe distance from the main building. Once there, I was able to rendezvous with Sith Tarimra’s probe droids, and attempted to make contact with the Sithspawn designate Q-126 “Quiet Speaker” via the probe droid’s external speakers.
The Sithspawn proved easy enough to locate, still trapped behind the wall which Sith Tarimra had collapsed on it. I attempted to speak to the creature by addressing it as “Lera”, and attempting to appeal to its “childlike” qualities. Unfortunately, this proved unsuccessful, and the creature became unresponsive upon realising I was not Pureblood Sith.
It continued to converse with Sith Tarimra however, revealing several pertinent points of information which I believe to be true, given the creature has no reason to (nor has it shown any ability to) lie.
It is the only one of its kind on Jaguada. It spoke of “far flung” “siblings”.
That it is here to “witness (our) Lament”, a reference to the name of the group of interest “Witnesses of Lament”.
It holds Sith Purebloods in far higher regard than either Sithblooded Humans or Halfbloods, indicating that it is familiar with or responsive to Purist ideology; likely implanted by its creators.
The creature is only two months old - which lines up with both the appearance of the fake IRS agents, the dreams of the Nomadic Walkers, and the apparent date of the ritual which created Sithspawn designate Q-126.
At this point, however, the Sithspawn became unresponsive yet again before breaching its containment; forcing me to make a swift exfiltration via speeder-bike. Making contact with Sith Vipion and Speaker Zarvia, who further corroborated the “two-month” timeline and provided a further insight which I believe to be essential to understanding the nature of the threat which we face:
“Zji ubit agarinus, iz chemaji.” - A phrase in the nomadic Walker’s Cant language meaning “It is Sorcery, and Alchemy”.
“Flesh and soul, both.”
It is my belief, shared by Sith Tarimra and Sith Vipion, that while the physical body of the Quiet Speaker was created using Alchemy (possibly via the transmutation of the child Lera Thelin, though this remains unconfirmed) its “soul” or consciousness was created and implanted via sorcery. This means that the consciousness functions at least on some level separately from the creature itself: potentially, destroying the creature may in fact unleash the “spirit” and increase its danger and mobility.
Therefore, we must either find a way of destroying both the consciousness and physical form of the creature simultaneously; or be prepared in some way to bind, entrap, or destroy the spirit after the body has been expunged - a task which may prove even more dangerous than the first.
