UPDATE: SITH ZARCHAS
Crystal Interaction - [Presumed 'A Lamentation' Sithspawn Interaction - Location Unknown]
"Upon interacting with the crystal, and making physical contact, I found that the Sithspawn on the other time was disinterested in me but was most certainly aware. I spoke in High Sith and offered a promise of gifts, this created a mild reaction - a projected sensation of disbelief. This amusement grew as I continued, growing into almost a form of mockery. Suggesting that this Sithspawn in question is more intelligent, and capable of more advanced thoughts and emotions. When called Kshu'jot the creature rose and turned its attention fully to myself, yet remained reserved. I asked if this was the creature's name and received a sense of obliviousness in return. At this point, the interaction was ended and I left for Jaguada."
Outpost Q162 - Sithspawn Q162 / The Black Brother Encounter
"Initial deployment to test my theory was to my Jaguadan facility, cleared by the IRS and secured by defence droids. Ten slaves of various alien species were taken to the facility and curses were placed upon collars to inflict pain and immobilise them. The first sacrifice, a Cathar, had a smiling face carved into their flesh in the same manner the Sithspawn had been leaving smiling faces alike a calling card and left out on the sands. After some time passed nothing happened, suggesting that the Sithspawn was incapable of sensing the sacrifice over such a distance or was simply uninterested."
"After deploying to Outpost Q162 two slaves were prepared and left as sacrifices whilst I had my shuttle land at a greater distance away. Once again, nothing happened. As I ventured out onto the sands I noticed a curious awareness turn itself to me. Extending my senses I studied this presence and discovered it to be different to that of the Crystal Sithspawn. It was both lesser and more animalistic than but still considerably strong. It was unique, independent, yet similar. I could sense differences and similarities between both Sithspawn and a connection, they are components to a ritual of unknown origin and intent - they are part of a set. CONJECTURE: As there are three crystals there will be Sithspawn. Each one already named by Kelo, The Black Brother, The Quiet Speaker and A Lament - END OF CONJECTURE."
"When both slaves were offered the Sithspawn offered no obvious response other than radiating a mild sense of amusement. However, when I began the process of conjuring a wisp there was a noticeable spike in interest. Upon guiding the wisp closer to the facility the entity moved towards the entrance and remained, waiting. The distance between myself and the facility was great and the wisp took some time to traverse the gap, I noticed pacing and impatience from the Sithspawn - like a child being forced to wait. Boredom could also be sensed. Once the wisp reached the bunker the Sithspawn immediately consumed the energy, something Sith Vipion caught on camera, and a small bloom of happiness could be sensed from the creature. As I left the creature continued to radiate amusement and a sense of pleasure, akin to a child that received a treat. I believe that the Sithspawn in question can be compared to a child's level of intelligence and the reason for it attacking Sith Sarias is because it considered the Sithspawn she brought with her to be gifts, not the bodies, and when they were taken away after being promised it threw a tantrum of epic proportions."
"I carved two messages into the body of the Verpine slave. The first question being 'How old are you?' and the second being 'What is your purpose?' in High Sith. I also carved instructions and directions to my facility, hoping that it will send a messenger there in the coming days - or send a message to another who sets foot on the sands."
Next Steps - Professional Recommendations:
- It is now confirmed that there are three Sithspawn with one confirmed location. The Sithspawn that resides in Outpost Q162 is henceforth to be referred to as Sithspawn Q162. I believe its true name to be The Black Brother but this is yet to be confirmed.
-- I believe another of the three Sithspawn, The Quiet Speaker, was encountered by Specialist Haldeen. But this is unconfirmed.
-- I believe that the third Sithspawn, known as A Lament, was encountered by myself and Apprentice Luvane when we interfaced with the crystal acquired on the first deployment. But this is unconfirmed.
- Henceforth, our first priority should be to locate the other two Sithspawn and Crystals as this information will be critical in understanding what the intent of their ritual is.
-- Apprentice Sekker has been instructed to investigate the rumours of the supposed IRS team who arrived shortly before the incident at Greypost, I believe that they will have visited other sites where the Crystals have been.
-- Apprentice Sekker has been instructed to investigate the three stars that Luvane saw in his vision and compare them to local star charts and geographical features and then compare them to geographical features, locations of renown and any existing structures. I believe that the stars will correlate to locations, Outpost Q162 being one of them.
- Interactions with Sithspawn Q162 should be kept to a minimum until we understand the purpose of the ritual it is a part of and what role it plays. Killing, capturing or otherwise distracting the Sithspawn from its purpose could have dire consequences if the ritual is already underway, which I believe to be possible.
-- The purpose of both Sithspawn and Crystals seems to be that of harvesting energy. The Sithspawn have been observed to consume both life essence and force energy and the crystals have a hungry presence in the force that draws in energy from around them.
- It is possible that once we understand the ritual and the function of each component involved, we may be able to use Sithspawn Q162 as leverage against the other two by taming them. Until this knowledge is gained we do not know what killing any of the three Sithspawn might do. It may drive them into a frenzy, release the gathered energy of the ritual or release an even worse entity if they are serving as some form of 'guardians' that are containing a greater threat.
