[IC] Nuyak Zuhia siela Trovas Horuset ((All is written in Sith))

#1
Zikarn Ignia would appear behind a desk, his hood down as he sits there in his normal black attire. His right hand rested lazily on the desk as his right index finger continually tapped it. He briefly looked away with his left arm resting on the armrest of the chair. Leaned back he looked back into the Holorecorder

"I assume I should start with the beginning really. The times of being an acolyte. A small smirk appeared in his lips, followed briefly by a small huff as he reminisced "The acolyte days. Seems so far away now."

"The trials, and the time as an acolyte brought some good things with it, however. Not only did I grow, become stronger. I found myself suddenly in the presence of another Pureblood of whom I have come to consider a friend. The Monhura that I never had." He huffed slightly again. "Apprentice Sotazar. The big bastard. I hope that he will succeed where others have failed. Though I have a feeling that he will come far. The man is a beast."

His lips turned upwards, clearly finding it amusing "To have thought I would have come to the place where I’m sitting and talking to a holoprojector about my thoughts... But there are others that I have started to grow close to. That I trust.. Trust as a Sith does that is. Apprentice Valeus. An apprentice of whom I have worked alongside ever since I was an acolyte. The man might not seem like one of the stronger Apprentices due to his rather... Scrawny build. Though I know different. The man is wielding power that I have a feeling would make some of the Household Sith have a run for their money so to say. And then there is the pain in the ass. Apprentice Zotam. The former slave. Yet, his constant pestering has someone grown on me. And I find myself lacking the nagging behind my ear when he is not present."

Zikarn looks briefly to his side before looking back, his lips falling back to neutral once more "But enough. The greatest thing that has happened is that I became an apprentice. And not just that. I became an apprentice to the strongest being in the Powerbase, Darth Horuset."

He looked at the Holo, a clear view of pride befalling him as he smirks "Apprentice Ignia, Apprentice to Darth Horuset. In my opinion, it is kinda amusing that I found out that my Master's former name was Lord Saud. Fire..."

He rises a bit from his chair, sitting straight as his hands are folded in front of him as they rest on the table in front of him.

"Since my ascension, I have experienced so many things for the first time. War, Jedi, Diplomacy, Pirates. The list goes on. And I can thank myself for my constant growth, since my Master barely trains us. She wants us to be independent. Something I had a hard time with at the beginning. But something I have now come to realise that was necessary to see me grow. To see me become what she wants me to become."

His right-hand points up to his jewellery.
"I am a man now as well. My Master led the ceremony to see me now enter adulthood. Lord Kalkoran accepted my invitation as well. Almost all did. Except for Lord Iezkon. However, the filth of a pureblood, Mayaz, attended. Sith Arvanis brought her. Either to spite me or to start a process of mending between us."

His eyes narrowed slightly, his voice changing instantly. Anger now clearly present in his tone
"I will not relent before I have seen the disgrace removed from my Master's Powerbase. Her only interest is in aliens. Mingling with them. The disgrace. That she still roams the halls of my Master is a joke in itself. Always protected.”

He shakes his head briefly, calming down. "But enough of that. I am working alongside an alien myself now. Something I had not seen myself do before. However, even despite the rumours and her reputation, I have mostly come to terms and say that when she is not inside the Powerbase when I have her alone, she is smarter then people give her credit for. And far more competent than many others. Possibly the most competent alien I know currently. Though, that list is short and I never expect competence from aliens...

A small laugh comes from him as he looks straight into the holoprojector
"To even hear myself say the words make me shiver. But she is strong. And I can learn from her. However tragi-comic it is."

Looked briefly to his right, looking at his window before turning his head back towards the holo
"I believe this suffice for now. Perhaps I will return to this. Perhaps not. But I have given it a try now. And strangely enough, it has been satisfying.

The Holo would flicker off.

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
