Entry #2 of Horuset Chronicles:A Philosophical Analysis on Purity
***A collection of unorganized thoughts inspired through a public file by Lord Tokiai and self-contemplation regarding one’s own position within the subject of purity***Purity.
Commonly referred to as a fundamentally inherent trait, intricately linked to our genetic predisposition.
While on a scientific basis it can be simplified as a means of selective crossbreeding or interbreeding, to designate it in such a rudimentary way could be seen as naivety- if not outright offensive.
Sith Purebloods boasts lineages that spans millennia’s worth of supremacy, dating to its primeval orchestration within its ancient civilization. Admittedly, purity in one’s bloodline provides intriguing answers to one’s role in the galaxy.
Sorcerer. Warlord. Conqueror. Ruler. Emperor.
All answers inherently design itself to position oneself above others, to reign dominion over lesser organisms. Or even more daringly, supremacy over equal or superior lifeforms.
Yet as all endings are derived from beginnings, answers must equally derive from questions.
To what end?
Under closer examination, purity itself disguises itself as an answer when in truth- is merely a fraction of a greater mystery and fathomless truth. Colloquially as power is not its own purpose, purity is only one of the exemplary means to achieve it.
Herein I quote from a set of tenets that all Siths should be acquainted to, for if they do not, they are undeserving to be recognized as such.
“Through power, I gain victory.”
To know that this is not the final tenet to the Sith Code is to become aware of a certain insight.
One may induce comparisons and conclude that purity is a means to an end, for those who possess it are inherently ‘superior’ but by no means does it guarantee the fulfillment of their potential, nor their purpose.
As an Arkanian Pureblood, the realization dawned to me that there were similarities within our legacies. Both compels the purity of our genealogy as an expression of our right to supremacy within the galaxy.
The Sith Purebloods exemplifies this through a method of selective marriages and elimination of ‘less desirable’ offsprings. While us Arkanians are consumed with the methods of genetic reconstruction and manipulation.
Though the true epiphany lies not in our similarities, but our differences.
Sith Purebloods purity lies in the "regression" of one’s biological legacy, to retain the blood of the purest of their kind. Their truth lies in retracing one’s gene to the source of all their strength. The crimson pigment that illustrates millennia’s worth of power, and phenotypical expressions of tendrils corroborates this insight. To retain and become closer to their more powerful ancestors. In other words, their purity lies in obtaining the powerful source of their supreme origins.
Arkanian Purebloods purity lies in the "progression" of one’s biological legacy, to transcend the blood of the purest of our kind. Our truth lies in evolving one’s gene to obtain the possibilities of power. Through genetic rewiring, our manipulation of our DNA provides transcendental capacities in achieving superiority in multiple facets. In other words, our purity lies in achieving advanced genes as the source of our species culmination.
Herein lies my universal truth, that the Arkanian Pureblood is the ‘thesis’ whereas the Sith Pureblood is the ‘antithesis’. One embodies ‘progression’ which can be parallel to ‘creation’, while the other embodies ‘regression’- which can be interpreted as ‘destruction’.
The Sith provides more than mere expressions in bloodlines, it offers one to become Sith- not through blood but by purity in our immersion to their teachings. Upholding frameworks of traditions and its core tenets as truth in service to the Dark Side.
The markings of a ‘thesis’ when brought into collision of an ‘antithesis’ herein provides a whole new dimension of possibilities.
'Synthesis'.
To possess both ‘creation’ and ‘destruction’, if cultivated with utmost care into perfection, would bestow to those willing to nurture it a realm of limitless potential. It is here where I possess the rare string of fate that allows me to bind my Arkanian self to the true teachings of the Sith.
To become an Arkanian Sith.
To embody both worlds.
I am situated at the precipice of this unique opportunity. Heir to the prestigious Nova family of Arkanian lineage and successor to my enigmatic grandfather’s Sith heritage. To possess resources beyond mere commercial wealth and pure undiluted potential in the Force.
To be honored within the halls of House Horuset, to walk amongst the exemplars of the Empire.
I am blessed with teachers who paved their way into the darkness and found themselves mastering it. To be in the company of fellow aspirants of the darkside as we journey together to unravel the mysteries of the Force. To serve the lords and Darth, who embodies the endless abyss and hold supreme dominion over it.
All that is required is an enlightened master that possesses the rare insight to determine one’s potential, to guide and accept me as an aspiring apprentice one day.
But I digress, these are sequences of thoughts for another time.
There are stringent believers, commonly found in impure races who argues the notion that purity is of no consequence to the structure of the Empire and to the Dark Side. That potency of one’s force is dependent in emotions and passions rather than a sequence of expression in our genetic writing.
A more persuasive and vocal adherent to such belief once stated that we must adapt to the shift in paradigms, to provide leniency to welcome the ranks of those who are impure. The paradigms indeed changed and adaptation was inevitable, for we were starved of fresh blood in numbers to consolidate the Empire’s position in the galaxy against Zakuul and the Republic.
Our beloved Empress shared the same sentiment, yet she never overstepped the boundaries of extinguishing the notion that purity and tradition itself provides distinctive significance.
While I am indifferent to interspecies marriages, I am not an advocate of reckless interbreeding with non-Sith or lower castes that becomes a catalyst of dilution of a majestic bloodline- to serve as our paragons within the Empire. We would be left with a docile reminder of a glorious past that we foolishly exchanged for a forsaken future.
Remaining true to corporate ideals instilled within my fiber, in this particular context; quality outweighs quantity.
While that particular vocal adherent would argue that to prevent certain interspecies marriage is to subject them to a form of emotional imprisonment. I only have this to say:
The Sith has quality management and exclusive selectivity.
Siths are not so weakly determined nor forged by submitting ourselves to choices that are inferior.
We never settle for less.
Never.
To do so is to submissively proclaim our inferiority and to deny ourselves of our true nature. Our internal desire for progression has no restrictions, as our limits are there to be broken.
To dilute our purity is to demean the foundation our ancestors set forth for generations to come, to deny the universal truth that remains constant in the ever-changing paradigm.
Sith teachings can only truly survive if there are true Siths that exists to exemplify the testament of our power. If our numbers expand in exchange for our potency in power, it discredits our teachings.
We must demonstrate our claim to power. To represent as the forefront example, not merely content in spreading our teachings but to become its undeniable authority.
To advocate the truth in our teachings, we must first become the testament of that truth.
To utterly break the confines of our own restrictions.
To ruthlessly dominate the Force to our unbreakable will.
To become the embodiment of undiluted power.
...That is what it means to be pure.
