Kaasian creatures can be fascinating upon studying them. Since the conquest and the subsequent prosperity of the system, many species have died out and many others have flourished, establishing the food chain that we actually have knowledge of. In this thread, I will talk about some of the most well-known creatures and their basics traits.
With a height of about three meters, the swamp wampas are almost identical copies of the also well-known ice wampas, with their only exception being their fur coating, which for the swamp wampa is lighter, to stand the hot climate compared to Hoth's standards. Upon their discovery, many scientists thought that they were in fact ice wampas, due to their similarity. Swamp Wampas are non-sentient reptomamallian creatures which attack everything they see, preferring to attack their prey individually and stun them, then carrying it to their lair, usually a cave (for swamp wampas, their swamps) and then eating them at will. Small creatures such as wingmaws or large ones such as vine cats tend to be their diet. Wampas can and do stand bipedally, but their preferred course of action except in combat is to go in all four, to be faster. Upon attacking, the beast shall raise itself from its four-legged stand and bash downwards with incredible strength, due to their +200kg strength (average standards). Very proficient force augmentation users could reach their level of strength and outbalance a wampa, but the best course of action is to just perform a quick Sai tok or two swift Cho mok.

Yozusks are creatures native to Dromund Kaas. They are territorial beasts with rocky protrusions on their back. When the first Sith arrived on Dromund Kaas, they referred to the yozusks as "rock wardens". They are still predominant in our actual times. Yozusks are territorial beasts with rocky protrusions on their back. They have long arms which they use to exhume their prey which live underground. They rely primarily on their sense of smell in the darkness and were nocturnal. They were incredibly strong, and many young Sith thrill-seekers enjoyed fighting the yozusks before they went after the stronger gundarks. They were first recorded when the Sith arrived on Dromund Kaas. By our times, they are a predominant species in the planet's jungles. For unknown reasons, they started behaving more violently and attacking Imperial personnel, the Empire issued a bounty for anyone willing to hunt down the beasts. By now, the threat has been contained. Simple ways to take down a Yozusk are to weaken their front legs, which are the ones used by the Yozusk to move, their kneecaps are the best point to strike with sharp objects such as knives or rocks. If you wish to murder a Yozusk, simply by impaling the beast's eye can cause instant death.

Jurgorans are large, amphibious animals native to Dromund Kaas, which they are challenged only by the gundark for a position at the top of the food chain. They are known for their sharp claws and tough hides and they have been transplanted to several worlds across the galaxy. On Dromund Kaas, the jurgoran became the image of vicious, unrelenting strength among the Sith who first came to the world, and many Sith have taken the name "Lord Jurgoran" throughout the Empire's history. Their height is about 3.5 meters and their mass is about 200-250kg. Simple ways to kill a beast like this are to Sai tok from the waist and then Shiak at the abdomen. Rumours say these beasts are resistant to basic force strikes such as Force Shock or Telekinesis.

Gundarks are fearsome anthropoid from Dromund Kaas. Known as one of the most vicious, strong, and aggressive species in the galaxy. These non-sentient creatures stand between 1 and 2.5 meters tall, with four powerful arms and large ears as wide as their head. Both their hands and feet end with opposable digits. Gundarks are covered in short brown or grey hair. Gundarks are birthed live with black coats of fur and are able to fight almost from birth. A gundark's hair lightens as it grows older and its large, bat-themed ears begin to enlarge until, at puberty, they reach the width of its head, hence the expression "strong enough to pull the ears off a gundark." These creatures are born with only two of its four adult arms, with the second pair emerging during adolescence. Though not quite as intelligent as sentient creatures, gundarks are advanced enough to use simple tools such as rocks and clubs. (In spite of this, the expression "gundark brain" was used as an intelligence insult.) They live in organized family units inside hollowed-out trees or caves. Several gundark families often live together as a tribe, working for their common survival. Gundark society is matriarchal, with the oldest and most cunning female ruling the tribe. Males build the tribal homes and defend them ferociously from all intruders, attacking anything that enters the vicinity of the nest (and even some things that do not). Female gundarks are usually hunter-gatherers, acquiring the food needed by the tribe and training the young gundarks who weren't old enough to go out on their own. Gundarks normally fight with bare hands and rely on their enormous four-armed strength to overcome opponents, but are also capable of using simple blunt weapons such as clubs. Gundarks are strong enough to smash bones with their hands. In the wild, they often ambush opponents, hiding until their prey is within close range and taking the victim by surprise. If unarmed, a gundark will often try to grapple its foe in an attempt to crush it to death. I do not have a basic tactic to murder this beast, however, anyone experienced enough may create one with this information given.
