Mission Report: Blood In The Sand

#1
By Apprentice Rekhen:

"As per the standards post operation, I give my report of events.
Adorned in wears fitting for the desert heat we arrived at the outskirts of the tribes home. Greeted by two warriors, the one of note being a tall man named Garsil. The Speaker of the Tribe. Their Leader.
After few words were exchanged between us and Garsil we ventured further into their home. At this point Apprentice Sekker began scouting their numbers for potential acolytes, leaving MeTrihza, and Vayek to convince the Elders of our worth and mission.
The Elders were elusive and skeptical, Garsil was the translator for this discussion. We learned that the tribes in conflict for generations were originally of one whole. The cause of the split being the coming of a 'demon of the sands' that slaughtered many of them long ago. The day before the slaughter a man with red eyes preached of the Dark Side and the Sith ways. They denied him. Some attributed this as punishment from the gods and so the divide happened. Between those that followed the outsider (demon tribe), and those that stayed (original tribe).
Additionally, they warned that only the chosen one (one called Taravau Od'acni Bolai) was able to kill the 'demon'.
We were given a direction to go in order to find the 'demon tribe', but first we took rest and ventured once the sun set. We were offered three spears as weapons (in addition to what we already had) and set off.
A long journey followed, uneventful except for when we sensed a danger in the sands. All alerted we went to investigate and found the 'demon'. A juvenile sarlacc. The engagement was quick, Trihza proving exceptional in the combat. Vayek assisting in the dismemberment of the tentacles. Once the beast jumped from its pit I flanked, targeting its underbelly and killing it. It unleashed one last scream before dying.
Shortly after, we found the 'demon tribe'. I took the moment to display myself as their chosen one. The entire tribe followed us back to the original. Once there we were greeted with a similar treatment. I ordered for them to follow the Sith Path, leveraging my apparent importance.
The tribes are united as one, their faith in the ways of the Sith renewed.
This concludes my report."

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
