Entry 4
The Chiss raised her gaze, fire burning within it. Both hands were held behind her rear as her rigid stance would suggest, she stood tall in the images shimmering form. Her tongue called out to the camera, with a beautiful melody seeking to capture what came before it. Speaking in Cheunh
“Well. It is time we begin, first of all. I believe it might be worth noting that, the new Acolytes are particularly pathetic. There are but two new faces, that have even bothered to catch my eye. Those of any particular merit including Acolyte Challisa, while I have seen little of this Girl she reminds me particularly of a younger me. Without the talent afforded to the Chiss, she still holds herself somewhat respectably. However her attempt to push me around shows that she based her assumption solely upon my species, with very little analysis from what little I’ve seen and with the bias towards her species. She might very well succeed. The second Acolyte Loa’Lordiru for a completely un-noteworthy species beyond weaknesses. Has proven herself to be resourceful if anything, again without the ability to analyse or even follow orders or even speak the same language that resourcefulness has fallen flat.”
The Chiss thinned her lips.
“However there is something many of them lack. Even characters I’ve judged in a positive light before, ambition. Typically in a fair system, the ambition is only to serve and thus be rewarded simply based on your merit to fulfill your task and role. Upon taking Lord Tokiai’s words into consideration. My young self did not calculate as such, only ever looking for knowledge to complete the tasks at hand and never much acknowledging a future goal.
I still don’t care for Sith games.
Though since I am to play them, I must comprehend what it takes and thusly must seek ambition beyond what I already have to push to the forefront. Perhaps Acolyte Vinitia would be a perfect testing ground for this theory. As her Cousin was the last to elicit great annoyance from me, their failure to both their duty to the Empire and laterally to each other, would make a perfect grounds from an ambition based argument.
For now, I will continue to seek out a Master. I think beating Acolyte Rendvir would be an excellent way to show merit.”
